  • United Kingdom: : Bringing Falun Dafa to Chinatown and Trafalgar Square in London

    On August 29, 2009, the day before the 2009 UK Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference took place, Falun Gong practitioners held a parade in London. Practitioners from around the United Kingdom gathered in central London to introduce people to the beauty of Falun Dafa and to expose the brutal persecution in China.
  • Poland: The Divine Land Marching Band Welcomed in Warsaw

    On August 13, 2009, the annual Multi-Cultural Festival Day took place in Warsaw. The European Divine Land Marching Band took part in the parade and brought the good news of Falun Dafa to the Polish people. On the previous day, the marching band came to the local Chinatown and also in front of the Chinese embassy, and performed.
  • United Kingdom: Falun Gong Participates in Edinburgh International Arts Festival Parade

    On August 9, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners from UK were again invited to take part in the famous parade of Edinburgh International Arts Festival. The Falun Gong procession consisted of banners, dancers, a float with the theme of "Falun Dafa is Good" and a waist drum group. Dancers in brightly-coloured costumes moved gracefully with fans in their hands.
  • Denmark: Copenhagen Rally Marks Ten Years of Resisting the Persecution

    Ten years ago, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched a systematic and unprecedented persecution of Falun Dafa. Dafa practitioners in northern European countries have been holding a series of activitiesto call for an end to the persecution in China. On the afternoon of July 11, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners held a parade in Copenhagen.
  • United Kingdom: March in London to Stop the CCP's Atrocities on the 10th Anniversary of Resisting the Persecution

    On July 18 2009, UK Falun Gong practitioners held a group exercise demonstration in front of the Chinese Embassy in London to commemorate fellow practitioners who had been killed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Afterwards, they marched through downtown London and Chinatown to raise awareness of the CCP's atrocities.
  • Germany: Munich Residents Support Practitioners' Efforts to Resist the Ten-Year Persecution

    On July 18, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners held a march and rally in Munich. Their theme was: "Disintegrate the CCP and stop the persecution". Although it was raining, the march proceeded as scheduled. The European Divine Land Marching Band led the procession. The march caught the attention of many passersby and residents.
  • Germany: Practitioners Hold Rally and March in Berlin to Mark the Tenth Year of Persecution

    On July 11, practitioners held a rally and march in front of the Chinese Embassy in Berlin calling for the disintegration of the CCP and an end to the persecution. Representatives from German Falun Dafa Association, Society for Threatened Peoples and International Society for Human Rights gave speeches at the rally.

    On Saturday 18 July, Falun Gong practitioners in the United Kingdom held a parade through central London to commemorate ten years of persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
  • United Kingdom: Promoting Falun Gong in Cornwall

    On Saturday June 27, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in the UK came again to the town of Penzance in the Southwest England to participate the annual Golowan Festival. In the festival, Falun Gong practitioners performed group exercises, set up an information table and participated in the parade. Several media outlets interviewed the Falun Gong practitioners.
  • France: Rally in Paris Supports 55 Million Chinese Quitting the Chinese Communist Party

    On May 30 2009, the France Service Centre for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Falun Gong practitioners held a rally in Belleville, Paris. The rally was in support of the 55 million courageous Chinese people who have quit the CCP and drew the attention of passersby, including Chinese students and restaurant owners.
  • Bulgaria: Practitioners Gather for a Parade In Sofia

    On May 23 2009, Falun Gong practitioners from the Balkan Peninsula, Austria, Spain, Ukraine, Germany and the USA, gathered in Sofia for the first ever Falun Gong parade and rally held in the country. Early in the morning they demonstrated the exercises in Boris Garden. The parade started with a peaceful appeal in front of the Chinese embassy in Sofia.
  • France: Exposing the Persecution Against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party

    On November 30th practitioners went to Lyon, the second largest city in France, to tell people about Falun Gong and the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution against people who believe in Falun gong's principles, “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”. Many passers by were very enthusiastic to hear the Divine Land Marching Band.
  • United Kingdom: Parade Commemorates April 25th and Exposes Persecution

    Saturday 26th April was beautifully sunny. UK Falun Gong practitioners held a parade through central London to commemorate April 25th. During the parade, some practitioners handed out leaflets to passers-by that told them what Falun Gong is and why the Chinese Communist Party is persecuting such a peaceful and beneficial practice.
  • Poland: “What you are doing today is really good, really terrific!”

    During a series of events on the days preceding the European Falun Gong Experience Sharing Conference held in Warsaw last month, over 100 MPs signed a petition to support Falun Gong within one day. Besides the recognition and support from political circles and media in Poland, the support from ordinary people also touched Falun Gong practitioners from Europe. On September 21st and 22nd Falun Gong practitioners held a parade and rally in the city centre, which was given widespread coverage by the media.
  • Chinese Regime Interferes with Hamburg's Fesitval of Culture

    Although the police has been advised in advance about this and the activities were approved by the organisers of the event, Falun Gong participants were informed, just before the parade neared the Chinese market, that they could not distribute flyers like other groups and two banners were confiscated, claiming that the information on the banners was politically motivated.
