The Brutal Torture of Falun Dafa Practitioners at Heizuizi Women's Prison in Jilin Province

From what we know, five steadfast Falun Dafa practitioners were persecuted to death at Heizuizi Women's Prison. They were Yu Lixin (36 years old) and Deng Shiying (40 years old), Wang Xiuyun (about 50 years old), Jiang Shuxian, and Han Cuiyuan. There are presently at least 200 Falun Dafa practitioners illegally detained in the prison. -
Practitioner Ms. Tang Meijun Tortured to Death at the Maojiashan Women's Forced Labour Camp in Chongqing City
2004-07-15On December 30, 2003, Ms. Tang died from torture at the Maojiashan Female Forced Labour Camp, Chongqing City. When Ms. Tang's family member asked the camp police, "Why is her body like that?" The amoral officers, falteringly, said: "Suicide." To ask for justice, the family members hired an attorney, but the police from the camp threatened, "The higher authorities have been cracking down Falun Gong for several years. Do you really have the guts to come to the camp to defend Falun Gong?" Under such despotic conditions, the attorney didn't dare to talk further. -
Dafa Practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong's Face Severely Disfigured by Seven Hours of Electric Baton Torture in the Longshan Labour Camp (Warning: Graphic Photos)
2004-07-13The guards at the Longshan Labour Camp in Shenyang City shocked 36-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Gao Rongrong's face and other parts of her body for nearly seven hours with electric batons, which severely disfigured her face. Even inmates who had lived with her day and night for a long time could not recognize her. A photo shows her face after the blisters had dried up, with the scars still present. The scars on some parts of her face are thick, which shows the severity of the electric shock. -
The Crimes of the Police at the Heizuizi Female Forced Labour Camp in Jilin Province
2004-07-12Zhang Guimei directly and indirectly persecuted many Falun Gong practitioners. She compiled the "Practical Textbook" sold at a fixed price of 20 yuan, which every Falun Gong practitioner detained at the camp was forced to purchase and study. She was unlawfully making money and at the same time trying to brainwash the practitioners. The contents of the book mainly vilified and slandered Falun Gong and violated the Constitution of China. The book also contained the clauses of the illicit laws used to persecute Falun Gong. -
Shanxi Women's Labour Camp Cruelly Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioners
2004-07-12For practitioners who are steadfast in their belief, there is a "strict team," which is led by guards and composed of drug-addicted criminals. The "strict team" tortures practitioners both mentally and physically. They use various methods, including sleep deprivation and squatting for long periods of time. The meals they serve consist of one third of a 100-gram steamed bun and lots of water. After the meal, practitioners are forbidden to use the toilet. -
Falun Dafa Practitioners Cruelly Tortured at Taihang Prison in Baoding City
2004-07-12Headed by prison director Zhao Jingzhou, Taihang Prison has been doing its utmost to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. It has played a huge role in persecuting Falun Dafa in Baoding City, and in the entire Hebei Province. Taihang Prison has two divisions, one for men, the other for women. Many Dafa practitioners from various places are detained there and forced to do hard labour for long periods of time. The prison mainly produces canvas and sacks. -
Persecution Cases of Falun Gong Practitioners in Lengshuijiang City, Hunan Province
2004-07-11Ms. Luo Qiaoli is over 40 years old and in June 2000 went to appeal in Beijing and was captured by police. She was sentenced to one and a half years in a labour camp and her husband was forced to divorce her. After being released from the labour camp two years later, Ms. Luo was once again arrested for her participation in a Falun Gong truth clarification materials production site. For this she was sentenced to a seven-year prison term. She is now detained in the Changsha Women's Prison. -
Jiamusi University Lecturer Sentenced to 20 Year Prison Term for Broadcasting Video about the Persecution of Falun Gong
2004-07-10Falun Dafa practitioner Huang Min, 62, is a lecturer from Jiamusi University. After Changchun practitioners clarified the truth of the persecution via a cable or satellite broadcast, Huang Min became inspired. His field was electronics, and he had once worked in a TV factory. Therefore he and some other practitioners started using TV broadcasting to clarify the truth to the people. In 2002, in order to capture Huang Min, the Police Bureau offered a reward of 50,000 Yuan. Another 10,000 Yuan was offered to the local city upon his capture. In 2003 police arrested Huang Min and sentenced him to 20 years in prison. -
Dafa Practitioner Xie Junxiao Tortured to the Brink of Death; "610 Office" Orders Him Sent Back to Prison
2004-07-10Dafa practitioner Mr. Xie Junxiao is a 34-year-old villager from Luancheng County in Hebei Province. In December 2001 Falun Gong truth-clarifying banners were found in Luancheng County. Yang Weidong, the chief of the county "610 Office" arrested practitioners of this county, which led to illegal prison sentences, forced labour camp sentences and detention for many practitioners. Xie Junxiao was among them. -
Falun Gong Practitioners Jailed in Hunan Province, Forced to Do Slave Labour
2004-07-09According to Falun Gong practitioners released from Changsha Prison in Hunan Province, they were forced to perform slave labour for 13-14 hours every day. Being forced to work until 11:00 p.m., or until sunrise the next day, was not uncommon. When Falun Gong practitioners requested the right to observe an 8-hour work day and have Sunday off, they were thrown into solitary confinement for up to 90 days. Many practitioners have been subjected to this treatment. -
Dafa Practitioners Brutally Persecuted at the Zhangjiakou City Brainwashing Centre (Photos)
2004-07-0518 year old high school student Ms. Zhang Conghui was expelled from school because she clarified the truth about Falun Gong at school. Later she was detained at a detention centre and brutally tortured and made to undergo brainwashing. There are scars all over her body and hands from the torture she suffered. After two months of torture, she was released. Right now, she has a dull look, and she exhibits mental confusion. Her mental capacity is just the same as a child of two or three years old. -
An Account of the Persecution My Wife and I Suffered and How She Was Tortured To Death
2004-07-04My name is Zhang Qizhen. I am fifty-five years old and a Dafa practitioner. My wife, An Xiukun, also a practitioner, was forty-nine years old. My wife went to Beijing four times to appeal. Each time she was arrested, detained, and tortured. In June 2000, the police brutally force-fed her in a detention centre. She was rendered comatose. When intravenous infusion failed to revive her, she was sent to the hospital on June 7. She died on June 11. I also suffered brutal treatment for three years in a labour camp. -
The Persecution Suffered by Practitioner Han Chenchu Before His Death in Hebei Province Labour Camp
2004-07-03On May 14, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Han Chenchu's family members suddenly received a notice from the Tangshan Kaiping Labour Camp, saying that Han was critically ill. Family members hurried to the labour camp, but they were not permitted to see him. The next day, they lied to the family and said that Han Chenchu had died from a heart attack. His family were grief-stricken, fellow villagers shed tears of sadness and people wondered how such an honest and good person could die such a tragic death at the hands of his own government. -
Lawyer Nearly Sent to a Forced Labour Camp for Defending a Falun Gong Practitioner
2004-07-03In their closing arguments, the public prosecutor could not find anything to rebut and became very upset. When the court adjourned, the public prosecutor asked his staff, "Isn't there a regulation saying that lawyers cannot defend Falun Gong practitioners who plead not guilty? Who authorised that lawyer to defend the Falun Gong practitioner?" That same day, Attorney Wei's home phone, cell phone and office phone were monitored. After a few days, the police went to the Judiciary Bureau and asked the bureau to suspend his license to practise law and sentence him to three years of forced labour reform. -
Head of Xinle City "610 Office": "I am putting you through this and I will not be held responsible. If you die, you will die in vain."
2004-07-02Bai Wansheng is the head of the Xinle City "610 Office" in Hebei Province. On December 27, 1999, Bai Wansheng was forcing practitioners in a detention centre to stand barefoot and almost naked, outside in temperatures of minus 10 degree Celsius [14oF]. Bai said to them viciously, "Cold enough for you? Let me tell you, as long as Jiang is in power, this is not going to change. I am putting you through this and I will not be held responsible. If you die, you will die in vain.
