On March 21st, 2007, she again suffered brutal violence. She received beatings to both sides of her head, which resulted in a coma. She was taken to hospital for emergency treatment. Her life is in grave danger.

• What I Saw and Heard in Beijing Women's Forced Labour Camp

  In late May 2005, in the "Intensive Training Team" of Beijing Women's Forced Labour Re-education Camp, there was an elderly Falun Gong practitioner who was quite tall and had white hair. When it was time for her to shower, three people would hold her body, with a towel forced into her mouth in order to keep her from talking. However, we have not seen her since June. When we were having so-called "legal lessons," practitioners asked, "What crime did we Falun Gong practitioners commit for you to sentence us?" The guard who was leading the session said, "You committed a crime because you believe morality is superior to the law." There was no further explanation.

• An Account of Persecution at the Shandong Province No. 2 Forced Labour Camp in Wangcun, Zibo City

  Practitioner Zhang Feng, 32, an English teacher, went on a hunger strike for nearly three years at Liaocheng Hospital, and later he was transferred to the No.7 Division of the No. 2 Labour Camp of Shandong Province. In 2005, guards used cruel means to try to force Zhang Feng to give up Falun Gong using both physical and mental abuse. Later the guards made him do forced labour like other Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners were forced to use toxic glue to put together glass in the closed, suffocating workshop. The glue contained sodium nitrate, and each practitioner was forced to finish his quota. Zhang Feng's eyes were sensitive to the glue, and he was already myopic. His eyes were so affected by the glue that his right eye shrank and became distorted.   Shocking with electric batons, beating with spiked clubs, and kicking and punching is the torture method police used the most. One day at the beginning of March 2001, Li Yingpeng was suddenly called to the office and was shocked with electric batons for half an hour for no reason. During the massive torturing on March 11th, 2001, 37 practitioners of the 50 practitioners on the fourth floor in the Education Team were tortured by more than a dozen police with electric batons and spiked clubs. Bai Jingzhi had fractured ribs. Jiang Mifeng and Song Wenming had their backs injured from the torture.

• Baimalong Forced Labour Camp in Hunan Province Responsible for the Arrests of Visitors to Practitioner Ms. Liu Dan

  On May 16th, 2007, four relatives attempted to visit detained prisoner Ms. Liu Dan in Baimalong Forced Labour Camp. A guard working at the camp refused to let them visit that day, because they had seen Ms. Liu the previous week. The relatives argued but were referred to the head of the camp. The official refused visits and accused Liu Dan's relatives of finding people to destroy and expose Majialong Forced Labour Camp. The Shifeng District Police Station was called to take Liu's four relatives and friend away because they had no identification. Mao Xiangtao was detained for five days. Tang Fengying and Liu's friend were each jailed for ten days.

• Police Use Drug Addicts to Torture Practitioners in Changsha City's Xinkaipu Forced Labour Camp in Hunan Province

  On July 23rd, 2007, practitioner Li Wei was forced to stand on bricks that had been heated in a furnace in the scorching hot summer. He was also constantly bombarded with propaganda and otherwise mentally tortured, causing him to suffer a mental collapse and jump out of a building. Liu Heqing was savagely beaten for a long time. He was frequently woken up, pulled from his cell and beaten. On one occasion over ten officers on duty pulled him out to the hall and beat him for several hours. The beating caused him to suffer a mental collapse. The police gave bonus rewards to those who had beaten him.

  The methods that Liu Shaoshi, director of the Weiningying Forced Labour Camp in Benxi, Liaoning Province, uses to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners are extremely sinister and ruthless. He instigates police officers to forcefully "transform" Falun Dafa practitioners. The cruelty of the methods that they use on practitioners is escalating. The method they use routinely is called the "Death Bed torture". Several Falun Dafa practitioners were tortured this way and some have become disabled afterwards.

• Mrs. Cao Aihua from Xinjiang Autonomous Region Murdered Six Months Ago -- Local Authorities Issue a Resolution to Cremate Her Body and Destroy the Evidence

  On November 13th, 2006, Dafa practitioner Cao Aihua was tortured to death at the Wujiaqu Women's Forced Labour Camp after she was detained there for ten days. When cleaning his wife's body after her death, Mrs. Cao's husband found a large bruise around her waist. He believes that his wife died of internal injuries from severe beatings. During the past half a year, Cao's family has appealed to the police and justice departments, the jail administration bureau, the people's congress and the appeal office in Xinjiang. They demanded that the murderers be brought to justice. The women's forced labour camp wanted to settle the case privately, but Cao's family refused their offer. On May 16th, 2007, the authorities issued a resolution proclaiming that they would cremate Cao Aihua's body if Cao's family did not so themselves within two weeks. Cao's family felt very grieved and indignant.

• Mr. Cheng Huazheng's Life in Danger in Zhongba Forced Labour Camp in Guizhou Province

  In order to "transform" Falun Dafa practitioners, the guards in the Zhongba Forced Labour Camp torture them inhumanly by forcing them to do things such as stand without clothes in the winter, run great distances while wearing heavy coats in the summer, or stand for days on end when deprived of the right to sleep. They have also done things like pouring icy cold water on them in the winter, burning their faces by pouring boiling water over them, beating them brutally, and forcing them to sniff heroin. The guards openly said, "It is nothing to kill several, we have a quota of practitioners we are allowed to kill." Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Cheng Huazheng's life is in danger due to torture he suffered.

• Endless Nightmare: My Experience at the Beijing Women's Forced Labour Camp

  I was abducted by local authorities in 2001 because I had been distributing leaflets exposing the persecution. I was later imprisoned in the Beijing Women's Forced Labour Camp for a year and a half. Whenever I recall those days at the labour camp, it's as if reliving a nightmare for me. More than twenty of us were locked in one room of thirteen or fourteen square metres. It was the same room in which we made disposable chopsticks during the day, for one-time use at restaurants. The guards set heavy workloads for everyone, so those who were elderly or slower than others would have to work until three o'clock in the morning. The guards also ordered drug addict inmates to torture Dafa practitioners. Some inmates tore at practitioner's mouths until they bled, others stuck wooden sticks into practitioners' private parts.

• Elderly Ms. Yang Jusheng Died as the Result of Torture in Baimalong Forced Labour Camp in Hunan Province in 2006

  67-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yang Jusheng was forcibly taken to the Baimalong Forced Labour Camp twice. The first time was in 2001-2002, and her original term was one year, but it was extended to two years because Ms. Yang refused to accept brainwashing. Guards encouraged drug-addict prisoners to curse and brutally beat her many times. The second forced labour term was from April 19th, 2004 to March 9th, 2006. Her large intestine became misaligned with her rectum from standing so long and from being beaten. Guards continued to torture her. After returning home, she could not eat anything due to the severe torture in the labour camp. She died in November 2006.

  Guards from the No. 5 Division of Qingpu Women's Forced Labour Camp in Shanghai are persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners with an unknown drug. In order to further persecute those practitioners who firmly believe in Falun Dafa, the female guards imprison them separately from others and put the drug into their food. After eating their meals, the practitioners not only suffered vertigo, but also their mental state and memory was seriously impaired. After an older practitioner ate the drugged meals, she acted confused all the time. She was even unable to count.

  Prison officials Liu Wei and Diao Xuesong used toothpicks to stab Falun Gong practitioner Peng Chen's fingers and legs. His legs now no longer function normally, so he has to use his hands to move his legs. Another practitioner, Miao Shujung was beaten so badly that he has not been able to eat anything since. Whatever he eats he throws up. He used to weigh 209 pounds, but after being tortured he now only weighs 132 pounds. Due to his serious condition, they finally released him to receive medical treatment. It will be a wonder if he can survive. Another practitioner, Li Cangxin, was tortured so severely that he now needs assistance to walk.

• Recent Incidents of Cruelty Against Practitioners in the Suihua City Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province

  On March 14th, 2007, because practitioner Mr. Peng Shuquan persisted in cultivating Falun Dafa after being imprisoned by the Chinese Communist Party at the Suihua City Forced Labour Camp, the guards tortured him with the "Handcuff Hanging Torture", sealed his mouth with adhesive tape to silence him, inserted three boxes of lit cigarettes as well as garlic and hot pepper in his nose, completely burned all of his pubic hair, burned his finger with a lit cigarette and a cigarette lighter until it was completely charred, and also shocked him with electric batons.
