Eyewitness to the Brutal Treatment of Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Li Xiuying at Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City

I saw a woman lying on the ground. Her shirt was unbuttoned, and her bra was ripped loose and barely covering her breasts. Her trousers were also pulled loose, and she wore no shoes. It looked like she had been dragged on the ground for a long time. She was lying on her back, motionless, with her pale face turned to one side. Her hair was a mess. We could tell that she was still alive only from her slightly moving abdomen. Several guards were making dirty jokes and laughing at the practitioner on the ground. Liu Hu even kicked her and cursed, "Fake death." According to a prison guard, the woman was a Falun Gong practitioner from Tonghua City. I saw her name on a bulletin board: "Ms. Li Xiuying." -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhao Meiling Tortured at the Wangcun Women's Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province
2007-08-14On September 30th, 2005, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhao Meiling was taken to the Wangcui Women's Forced Labour Camp. From July 2006 to March 2007, Ms. Zhao Meiling was confined to a damp toilet that was less than 50 square feet in size. Camp officials ordered some of the inmates imprisoned for drug abuse to watch Falun Dafa practitioners day and night, slandering, cursing, and torturing practitioners. Ms. Zhao was constantly monitored by someone and was beaten by ward leader Zhao Wenhui. Ms. Zhao Meiling was tortured for a long time by having her arms stretched, her wrists tightly shackled, and her legs constrained in painful positions. She could only stand up or squat down. She was also tied to a metal pipe and force-fed. As a result, her health became very frail and she became hypertensive at times. -
Jin Fanlong, a Practitioner of Korean Ethnicity, Died as a Result of Torture Received in the Jiutai Forced Labour Camp in Jilin Province
2007-08-12Jin Fanlong was persecuted for two years in the Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp. As a result he was bed-ridden. He passed away on May 11th, 2006. The methods used to torture Falun Gong practitioners in Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp include: deprivation of sleep, sitting straight on a plank for a lengthy period, lying on a bed with hands and feet handcuffed to the headboards, hands cuffed and hung up with feet off or barely touching the ground, inmates pinching practitioners' genitals and eyes, inmates pricking practitioners with needles, and the most often used, beating. Police and inmates forcibly tied determined practitioners to the bed with their hands and feet tied to the four corners of the bed using handcuffs and ropes. The practitioners' bodies were outstretched and they couldn't move. They were kept in this position for a long period and were in extreme pain. -
Criminal Prisoners Incited to Brutally Torture Ms. Liu Dan in Heilongjiang Province Women's Forced Labour Camp
2007-08-11Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Dan is 29 years old and from Jixi City in Heilongjiang Province. She was arrested and sent to Heilongjiang Province Women's Forced Labour Camp on March 1st, 2006. At one time she went on a hunger strike for several months. On October 3rd, 2006, criminal inmate monitor Han Ying beat her brutally, so she went on a third hunger strike. She has resisted the persecution and suffered brutal torture at the hands of criminal inmates. Ms. Liu is now extremely thin and weak. -
Exposing the Persecution in Temporary Female Unit at the Mudanjiang Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province
2007-08-09The temporary female unit of Mudanjiang Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province is located at the west side of Sidao Village and is surrounded by high walls with electric barbwires on top. Beginning in June 2000, female Falun Gong practitioners were detained on the third level of the north building. The forced labour camp specifically purchased 20 "iron chairs", wide tape, shackles and other apparatuses for use to torture practitioners. Ms. Sheng Jin'e was detained in the Sidao Forced Labour Camp. After enduring three and a half years of torture and two months of being on a hunger strike, the forced labour camp sent her home in May of 2005. Ms. Sheng died on November 5th, 2006 at the age of 45. -
Persecution Methods Used by Labour Camps in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province
2007-08-09All Dafa practitioners who are sent to the Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Centre, no matter what time they arrive, will be sent for inspection, have their hair cut, and immediately be summoned for interrogation until late at night. On the second day, practitioners would be awakened very early and labour camp personnel would talk to them, trying to use both hard and soft-handed approaches. The soft-handed approaches would be to use sentiments to confuse practitioners. If it failed, they would start bombarding practitioners with persuasion, indoctrination, and scoldings. -
Practitioners Sentenced to Wangcun Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province - Visiting Rights Denied
2007-08-08On July 17th, 2007, practitioner Ms. Dai Zongzhen's relatives went to Wangcun Forced Labour Camp to visit Ms. Dai, her daughter, and Ms. Dai's brother. They asked the authorities to release the three Falun Gong practitioners unconditionally. But the guards refused to allow them to meet the detained practitioners with the excuse that they didn't bring all the required documents. They were told that they have to bring their personal identification, Permanent Resident Booklet, and a document signed by their local police. They were also told that only non-practitioner relatives would be allowed to meet with their detained relatives. -
Shibalihe Women's Forced Labour Camp in Henan Province Imprisons and Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioners
2007-08-08Since early June of 2007, the Shibalihe Women's Forced Labour Camp in Henan Province has imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners who refused to give up their beliefs. The practitioners were closely watched during mealtimes. Some were forced to hand copy ten sheets of writings required by policewoman Jia Meili, or they locked in confinement 24 hours a day and not allowed to even receive food. They were also not allowed to sleep until midnight or 2 a.m. -
The Crimes Committed in the Harbin Women's Forced Labour Camp
2007-08-06In 2002, I was sentenced and detained in the Harbin Women's Forced Labour Camp of Heilongjiang Province. At the end of November 2002, the guards first shocked the practitioners with electric batons, which left them with blue and purple bruises on their bodies. They then started to punch and kick the practitioners. Many practitioners could not even stand up after the beating. The guards shut some practitioners into dark confinement rooms. The practitioners were only allowed to wear their underwear, and they were barefoot, with their hands tied behind their backs and crouched on the floor. Their entire face, including their mouths and eyes, were covered with yellow tape, exposing only the nose. -
Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners at Qiqihar Forced Labour Camp in Heilongjiang Province
2007-08-03I was arrested by officers from my local police station in the end of 2004 and was sent to the Qiqihar Forced Labour Camp. The practitioners who refused to be "transformed" were all forced to do the dirtiest and heaviest work. The labour camp forced me to package pesticide in the agricultural chemical factory. The strong pesticide smell in the air made it hard to breathe and caused my abdomen to swell. The work the labour camp assigned to us was hard to finish. Guards arbitrarily increased our workload and they inspected the practitioners' work very strictly. The labour camp also forced us to work in the corn-processing factory which caused our hands to become swollen. If we stopped to rest for a while, the officials yelled at us. -
After Being Detained for Three Years in Fujian Province Women's Forced Labour Camp, Quan Saizhu Is Still Being Persecuted by the 610 Office
2007-07-29Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Quan Saizhu was arrested by officers from the Fujian Province 610 Office, the police department and the provincial prison system. She was sentenced to three years of forced labour. After her release on April 20th, 2007, she was frequently threatened and harassed by police officers and could not return home. The Women's Forced Labour Camp guards deprived her of sleep, forced her to stand for a long period of time, verbally abused her and brutally beat her. She was also forced to do hard labour daily for over 10 hours. -
Ms. Li Xiaoyan Has Kidney Failure Due to Torture in Shandong Forced Labour Camp
2007-07-28Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Xiaoyan is being detained in the first ward of the Shandong Province First Women's Labour Camp. Her arms, legs, and face are now swollen due to torture in the labour camp. The doctors say that she now has kidney failure. On June 22nd, she was taken to the prison clinic for a check-up. Tests revealed that her heart was malfunctioning, her kidneys were not functioning, and the protein level in her urine was dangerously high. On January 11th, 2007, she was sentenced to one and one half years of imprisonment and was sent to the Shandong Province First Women's Forced Labour Camp. Her 70-year-old mother went to the labour camp several times to see her daughter, but she was turned away each time. -
Children Freed From Brick Kiln in Shanxi Province, But Falun Gong Practitioners Still Forced into Slave Labour at Hedong Brickyard in Ninxia Province
2007-07-18The recent exposure of the illegal brick kiln in Hongtong County, Shanxi Province, in which over a thousand school-aged children were forced to work as slaves, has shocked the media, China and the whole world. Traders in human beings provided the slave labourers to the illegal brick kiln, while the Falun Gong practitioners at the Hedong Brickyard were arrested by the CCP regime. The slave labourers at the Hongtong brick kiln were forced to work for more than ten hours per day. After the Falun Gong practitioners at the Hedong Brickyard finished work they were tortured with electric batons, forced to stand with their heads against the wall, tied up with ropes, and beaten. They were pressured to write a guarantee statement and give up their beliefs. -
Ms. Zhu Shuyun's Life in Danger from Abuse Suffered at the Heizuizi Labour Camp in Jilin Province
2007-07-18On June 9th, 2007, practitioner Ms. Zhu Shuyun was sent to the second unit of the Heizuizi Women's Labour Camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province. She has been abused by the police many times since she was imprisoned there. Ms. Zhu protested the persecution with hunger strikes and was force-fed, which resulted in a lung infection, making her unable to eat. She is in critical condition. The force-feeding of the Falun Dafa practitioners at the labor camp is extremely barbaric, and has directly caused many practitioners' deaths. -
Practitioner Qu Guangyi Subjected to Brutal Torture in Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp in Jiutai, Jilin Province
2007-06-26Practitioner Mr. Qu Guangyi was arrested by local police officers during the autumn of 2006. They sent him to Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp, where he was subjected to brainwashing tactics. While in the camp, he was brutally tortured. The guards hung him up, deprived him of sleep, and burned his skin. As a result, he was in very poor condition both physically and mentally. In May 2007, Mr. Qu was sent to a forced labour factory where he had to work long hours. The food provided there was worse than what they fed animals. He suffered mentally and was diagnosed with nephritis (inflammation of the kidney). Guards from the labour camp forced Mr. Qu to continue working after giving him very poor medical treatment.
