United Kingdom: Practitioners Call for an End to the Persecution of Falun Gong and the Dissolution of the Chinese Communist Party

Falun Gong practitioners gathered across the road from the Chinese Embassy in London at 6pm on August 11th, 2008. They called for an immediate end to the persecution of Falun Gong in China and the dissolution of the Chinese Communist Party. While some practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, other distributed information to passersby. -

Sweden: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong in Stockholm

The words “Falun Gong”, written in Chinese and English on a yellow banner, were especially dazzling under the intense summer sunlight in Mynttorget Square, near the Royal Palace in Stockholm. When people from the tour buses or tourists passing by saw the banner, they couldn’t help saying the words out loud. -
Denmark: “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance” Art Exhibition

From July 23rd to July 30th, the “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance” Art Exhibition was held in Copenhagen for the first time. This art exhibition was co-hosted by the Danish Falun Gong Association and the Danish North European Asia Art Association, displaying about twenty works of art. -
Slovakia: 'Million Signatures' Petition Receives Media Attention in Western and Middle Slovakia

From Monday July 21st to Saturday July 26th, a 'million signatures' petition campaign took place in western and middle Slovakia, with the goal of informing more people about persecution of Falun Gong in China and about the recent activity to stop it. These signatures will be used to raise awareness about persecution of Falun Gong in China and bring it to an end. -
Switzerland: "We want to learn Falun Gong"

“I am a beginner. Many movements may not be accurate but I feel great”, said Asele happily after learning Falun Gong’s five exercises. Asele said she lived in Kyrgyzstan, near China. This was the first time she had heard about Falun Gong. She learnt this traditional Chinese cultivation practice at the Asian Festival of Berne in Switzerland on July 26th, 2008. -

They not only let people know about organ harvesting by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), but also called for an end to the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. Numerous people came to support the activity by signing the petition. -

United Kingdom: Cambridge Rally Marks 9 Years of Persecution in China

The European Tian Guo marching band performed in Cambridge on July 27th to raise awareness about the severe human rights abuses that practitioners of Falun Gong have endured for the past nine years. All of the 70-piece band are Falun Gong practitioners, hailing from different countries in Europe. -
Spain: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest at the Chinese Embassy in Madrid against the CCP Persecution

On July 26th, Falun Gong practitioners from Madrid gathered at the Chinese Embassy to protest against the CCP's nine years of cruel persecution. All passers-by could see the banner reading “Stop the persecution of Falun Gong” and many of them passed across the road to accept flyers and view the torture exhibition pictures. -
Sweden: Rally at the Chinese Embassy to Protest against the Persecution of Falun Gong

Although the entrance gate of the Chinese Embassy was tightly closed, staff members of the Embassy shuffled in the courtyard. Some came out of the entrance and hid in the grove to take photos of the protesters. In order to remind the Chinese people associated with the Embassy not to be deceived by the evil Chinese regime, western practitioner Mars shouted in Chinese “Stop the Persecution!” -
Turkey: Support for Falun Gong Practitioners from the Turkish Media

On July 20th, in order to raise awareness of the crimes committed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) who have been brutally persecuting Falun Gong for nine years, some Falun Gong practitioners in Turkey went to Muğla in the western region. They visited several major media outlets, telling them about how the CCP persecutes Falun Gong and called on these media to expose the CCP's atrocities and help end the persecution, which has already lasted for nine years. -
United Kingdom: European Divine Land Marching Band in London

Saturday July 26th was a beautiful, sunny day in London. In order to expose the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s nine long years of brutal persecution, practitioners in the UK took to the streets of London along with the European Divine Land Marching Band. The parade ended at Trafalgar Square for a press conference.
