Sweden: Practitioners Clarify the Facts about Dafa at a Chinese Public Speaking Contest

After hearing their speeches, many of their classmates praised their courage. The Chinese Embassy officials seemed surprised at Dafa’s popularity in Sweden. It was unexpected for two Falun Gong practitioners, among the more than twenty students, to say that Dafa is good and to appeal to stop the persecution. They brought a sense of goodness to the contest. The speeches made people wonder: what brings so many people around the worldto practice Falun Gong? -
Sweden: Press Conference Held in Gothenburg to Highlight the Detention of Mrs. Pirjo Svensson

Among those present were journalists from the biggest newspaper in Gothenburg, and TV station Västnytt. The Chairman of Sweden’s Association for Human Rights was also at the press conference and showed great enthusiasm. He asked several questions and revealed that he hopes to begin working together with Falun Gong practitioners to end the persecution in China. -
Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to Participate in School Open Day

The students and the teachers were all very keen on Falun Gong. Several of the children asked the practitioners to teach them the exercises. The students made comments like, "This is one of the best things I’ve seen" and "I feel very comfortable doing the exercises." Practitioners felt that teaching the exercises to the children was a great way to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. -
UK: Weekly Report from a University Radio Broadcast

The show allows many people to find out about Falun Gong and the positive changes that the practice has brought to countless people. A Letter to the King of Thailand from the Nordic Falun Dafa Association

Currently, with the help of human rights lawyers and legal experts, Falun Gong practitioners in USA and Europe are suing Jiang Zemin and several top Chinese officials, for crimes ranging from torture to genocide. The crimes committed by Jiang Zemin and his Gestapo-like 610 offices are comparable to those committed by Milosevic and Pinochet." -

Sweden: Bringing the Wonder of Dafa to Every School in the Country (Part II)

On May 5 2003, “The Story of Lotus” opened in Sweden’s third largest city, Malmo. The performance received a warm welcome from the schools in that area. “The Story of Lotus” is a drama performance that combines dance, music and poetry. The dance is also intended to expose the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by Jiang’s regime in China. -
Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Produce a Programme for Local TV

The program outlined how 36 western practitioners appealed against the persecution of Falun Gong on Tiananmen Square. Practitioners hoped that this program could show Chinese people that Falun Gong is practised in many countries, contrary to the claims of Jiang’s state-controlled media mouthpieces. -
Sweden: Press Conference to Gather Support for the Trial of Jiang Zemin

Practitioners listed the crimes committed by Jiang Zemin, including abuse of power and embezzling national funds to persecute Falun Gong. They also let the public understand the meaning and importance of bringing Jiang to justice on the grounds of morality, conscience and law. One Swedish journalist stated, “We should not wait while facing this kind of persecution. We should take action immediately and tell the world’s people.” -
Germany: Clarifying the Facts at a Spiritual Health Fair in Hannover

All the practitioners in northern Germany came to enthusiastically support us. We demonstrated the exercises and talked to people who visited our booth about Falun Dafa. Through these activities, many people came to understand more about the magnificence of Falun Gong, and also about the Jiang regime’s persecution of 100 million innocent practitioners in China. -
Sweden: The “Lotus Flower” Performance Visits Lerum

This performance was the first in a 21-day tour of Sweden. “Lotus Flower” is performed on a non-profit basis by two Swedish practitioners and was created to support an end to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Music, dance and dialogue arranged in a simple manner, create a very beautiful and touching true story about the suffering of practitioners in China. -
Sweden: Supporting the Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin

Falun Gong practitioners from Stockholm gathered at the Chinese Embassy to send forth righteous thoughts and hand out flyers that revealed the facts about the persecution. This appeal was part of the worldwide effort by Dafa practitioners to further expose the crimes that Jiang’s regime has committed against Falun Gong practitioners. -
Sweden: Practitioners Tell People about the Lawsuits Against Jiang and the Lies Behind the Spreading of SARS in China

A new flyer was given out, detailing the lawsuits against Jiang Zemin for genocide and crimes against humanity and the Jiang regime’s risking of countless lives in an attempt to cover up the SARS epidemic. As usual, practitioners combined clarifying the facts of the persecution with exercise demonstrations in public. -
Letter from Denmark Falun Gong Association Calling for the Release of Pirjo Svensson
2003-05-12"The Swedish Embassy in Bangkok has been requesting an explanation from the Thai authorities but as of yet no reply has been given. The arbitrary and groundless arrest of Mrs. Svensson by the Thai authorities, as well as the Thai Authorities’ lack of openness and willingness to come forth in this case, is sending out a disturbing message about the true motives and intentions behind the arrest."
