Qingdao Dafa Practitioner Ms Wang Xiaoli's Death Caused by Police Brutality

After Wang Xiaoli died, they spread a rumour that she "committed suicide" in order to cover up the truth. However, the truth that Wang Xiaoli died as a result of the persecution quickly spread to the neighbourhood around her home. Chen Guolei, the director of Luoyang Street Police Station and Xu Zhaozhen, the director of Luoyang Street Resident's committee are very frightened. In an attempt to shift the responsibility, they told Wang Xiaoli's husband that her death had nothing to do with them. -
Crimes Committed by Wang Quanfeng of the Weifang City "610" Office
2004-03-04Wang Quanfeng, 39 years old, was formerly a "610 Office" official at the Fangzi District Police Department. He has since been transferred to another post. Since July 1999, he had been following Jiang Zemin together with the former District Chief Huang Weilian to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners with all sorts of methods. During this period of over 4 years, Wang abducted and persecuted countless Dafa practitioners. The facts listed here are only some of the crimes committed by Wang Quanfeng. -
Tianjin Banqiao's Female Forced Labour Camp: Two Women Suffer Mental Collapse From the Stress of Severe Torture
2004-03-04At the Tianjin Banqiao Female Forced Labour Camp, police and detainees torture Dafa practitioners. They claim that, "Any practitioner who dies from hitting or beating will be counted as suicide. TV will announce the news as suicide." In the brainwashing centre, the collaborators help the police treat firm practitioners badly. They let camp police and offenders frantically hit and beat the practitioners who refuse to give up practising Falun Dafa. -
Chief Sun Hongzhi and Officer Chen Yongfu of Tanpeng Police Station Responsible for the Death of 24-Year-Old Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Sun Xiumei
2004-03-0324-year-old Anhui Falun Gong practitioner, Ms. Sun Xiumei, died as a result of persecution on the morning of February 2, 2000. She was murdered by the authorities in Tanpeng Police Station simply because she would not give up her belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance"! The authorities who are directly responsible for this crime are the head of the police station Sun Hongzhi and police officer Chen Yongfu. The details regarding Sun Xiumei's suspicious death is pending further investigation. -
66 Year Old Nanjing Falun Gong Practitioner Ms Duan Xiangdi Recounts Painful Memories of Intolerable Torture She Suffered in Mental Hospital and Forced Labour Camp
2004-03-03On January 25, 2000, I planned to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. The local police station arrested me before I could leave and sent me to a psychiatric hospital without my consent. They even lied to my children. They told my children that they were protecting me by sending me to the psychiatric hospital because otherwise I would have been sent to the Northwest Forced Labour Camp. My children were told that I would be released in two weeks and that they could visit me. -

The Sichuan Deyang Prison Makes Illegal Profits from Abusing Prisoners
2004-03-03The Jewellery Association Factory owns 100,000 jewellery machines, which have all been set up in prisons, including the Deyang Prison. Some Chinese-owned enterprises in Thailand have also purchased many machines and have set them up in several prisons in Sichuan to have the jewellery processed. The Hong Kong Lepachu Industrial Co. Ltd and the Guangdong Liren Clothes Co. both use prisoners to make their products, some of which are sold to the United States. -
Ms. Yang Zhongfang Beaten to Death; Dozens of People Hold Sit-in Protest in front of City Government
2004-03-02Dafa practitioner Ms. Yang Zhongfang was 37 years old when officers from the Jiangong Police Station in Yanji City beat her to death overnight. Originally from Chengdu City, she had a deli business at the Xiyuan Market near the Yanxi Street Brick Factory in Yanji City. Because she was a warm and conscientious person, her business did well. The people living nearby loved her food. Ms. Yang Zhongfang also did lots of good things for the market, but she was persecuted for her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. -
Ms. Wang Shuxian Dies as a Result of Torture Suffered at Jilin Province Detention Centre
2004-03-02Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Shuxian was in her 40's and had lived in Nongan County, Jilin Province. She went to Beijing to appeal in January 2000, and police from Nongan County arrested her and sent her to a detention centre. They tortured her viciously until she had a heart attack. She strongly urged the detention centre authorities to release her, but the perpetrators ignored her request. Five days later, she fainted and remained unconscious. Ms. Wang Shuxian passed away three days later. -
Two Female Dafa Practitioners from Provinces of Jilin and Hunan Verified to Have Died of Torture in 2002
2004-03-02In January 2001, Zhang was sent back to Yushu City Detention Centre. The police from the political security section brutally beat her, leaving wounds all over her body. After she returned to her cell, she had difficulty catching her breath. She passed out twice. After she regained consciousness, she said she felt sharp pain in her internal organs, which was a result of the police's brutal beating. -
Practitioner Wang Wenbo Dies from Abuse Received at Harbin Labour Camp
2004-03-02Mr. Wang Wenbo, was a forty five year old practitioner from Aimin Village, Shuangcheng City. He was arrested and taken to Harbin Changlinzi Labour Camp when he was working away from his hometown. He was released on January 17, 2004 after suffering two years of horrible persecution in the labour camp. He was tortured because he believed in the principles of Truthfulness - Compassion - Tolerance. He was unwilling to betray his faith and thus his life was tragically cut short. -
Mudanjiang City Dafa Practitioner Wang Jiguo Tortured to Death While His Wife is Still Detained
2004-03-01In December 2000, Mudanjiang City University staff member Wang Jiguo was illegally detained at a forced labour camp. He had been tortured so severely that his entire body was swollen. He suffered from blurred vision and severe liver damage. Wang was released in September 2001. In July 2002 was he was sentenced to 7-year prison term at Mudanjiang CityPrison. Between June and July 2003, Wang was tortured until he was again on the verge of death. In September 2003 Wang died at the age of 40. -
Cherishing the Memory of Ms. Liu Limei, Ph.D. Student at the Northeastern Agricultural University
2004-03-01One day in 2001, Ms. Liu Limei was taken against her will to the Second Detention Centre in Harbin City. She was sentenced to Wanjia Labour Camp without proper legal procedure. In the labour camp, any practitioner who refused to renounce their belief was tortured with various brutal methods. The torture methods included: being beaten and cursed at, being beaten while hung up or handcuffed, sitting on the "Tiger Bench" for an extended period of time, being hung for four or five days without being released, and being locked in a solitary confinement. -
Benxi City Married Couple Suffer Brutal Persecution
2004-03-01Falun Dafa practitioners in Benxi City put up truth-clarification banners with the words "Tiananmen Square self-immolation is aimed at framing Falun Dafa." The authorities of the city set out to find those involved in making the banners. A former Falun Gong practitioner assisting in the persecution who had renounced Falun Gong due to brainwashing and torture reported Zhao Chenglin and Wang Lijuan. The city authorities then treated the couple as "key members" of Falun Gong. -
Head of Wanjia Labor Camp Viciously Tortures Dafa Practitioners
2004-03-01Since August 2002, the head of Wanjia Labour Camp, Lu Zhenshan, has been escalating the persecution of Dafa practitioners using more violence. Lu Zhenshan has been very hostile towards Dafa. Some policemen who still respected their conscience could not stand to witness his brutality. Lu would verbally abuse whoever showed sympathy to Dafa practitioners and later transferred such policemen to different units.
