Harvesting Organs from Living Falun Gong Practitioners—“An Unprecedented Evil on This Planet”—Is Ongoing

It has been said that the documents Wang Lijun turned in when seeking asylum at the United States Embassy in Chengdu City included evidence of Bo Xilai’s orders to harvest organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Other evidence revealing the roles of Wang Lijun, Bo Xilai, and Zhou Yongkang in persecuting practitioners and taking part in the harvesting of organs from living practitioners was also reported by overseas media. -
Practitioner Mr. Zhou Zixian Imprisoned and Severely Abused for Six Years
2012-05-04 After the communist regime banned Falun Gong in July 1999, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhou Zixian, 56, made three trips to Beijing to appeal for the right to practise. He was detained in several places for two months, then sent to a labour camp for more than a year. In 2003 he was sentenced to six years of incarceration during which time prison guards and fellow inmates tortured him in a number of ways. They pried his mouth open with a screwdriver and force-fed him during a hunger strike, knocking out several teeth. He suffered an injury to his right eye that impairs his vision to this day. -
Jilin Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested and Sentenced to Prison
2012-05-03Police broke into Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Lin Xiaoming’s home on April 14th, 2011 and arrested Lin Xiaoming and Xu Zhaorui. They later arrested practitioners Ms. Sun Liqing and Mr. Wang Yunliang. Mr. Wang was sentenced to one year of forced labour, and has since been released. Lin Xiaoming received a three-year prison sentence, and remains in Shiling Prison in Siping City. Xu Zhaorui is still detained at Fenjin Forced Labour Camp in Changchun. Ms. Sun Liqing was subjected to two years of forced labour and is being held at Heizuizi Women's Forced Labour Camp in Changchun. -
Disabled Older Man from Huai'an, Jiangsu Province Dies after Thirteen Years of Persecution
2012-05-03Mr. Dai Mingxuan and his wife, Ms. Lin Fengying have been persecuted for thirteen years because they practise Falun Gong. Agents from the local 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) continually harassed the couple, and their home was ransacked at least ten times a year. Ms. Lin was arrested three times and sentenced twice. Mr. Dai, who was physically disabled, depended upon his wife to help him with his daily needs, and life became extremely difficult for him when she was incarcerated. Mr. Dai's health suffered under the intense pressure of the persecution. He died on March 15th, 2012. -
Sixteen Falun Gong Practitioners from Tangshan Detained, Three Sent to Forced Labour Camp
2012-05-02In the early morning of February 20th officials from the 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) in Hebei Province organised police from all levels of the National Security and Police Department to conduct a large-scale arrest of Falun Gong practitioners in nearly ten cities and counties in Hebei Province, including Shijiazhuang, Tangshan, Baoding, Cangzhou, Botou, and Xuanhua. They fabricated charges to imprison practitioners. There are still nineteen practitioners from Tangshan detained, sixteen of them in detention centres, and three have been sent to forced labour camps. -
Former Audit Officer Tortured with Sleep Deprivation in Beijiang Prison
2012-05-02From March to June of 2011, Mr. Zhuang Wenshu, a Falun Gong practitioner and former officer in the Shenzhen Audit Office, was persecuted in Beijiang Prison, Shaoguan, Guangdong. Guards took turns torturing him over two months but failed to force him to give up his belief in Falun Gong and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. As a result, Guard Huo and others started to deprive Mr. Zhuang of sleep starting on May 16th, 2011. Mr. Zhuang was only allowed one hour of sleep over the five following days. -
College Teacher Sentenced to Ten Years in Prison, Her Mother Appeals
2012-05-01Ms. Liu Ronghua, a 47-year-old college teacher in Dalian City, has been subjected to detention many times for remaining steadfast in her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Zhongshan District Court officials sentenced her to ten years in prison on April 1st, 2012. Upon hearing the judge's pronouncement, Ms. Liu and her family were shocked. In two days Ms. Liu was scheduled to be released from her two-year forced labour term, but she was subjected to such a lengthy sentence. Ms. Liu appealed. April 10th was the deadline for submitting the appeal letter. Ms. Liu's mother and husband went to the Yaojia Detention Centre to submit it. -
Ms. Wang Guiying Repeatedly Persecuted and in Police Custody Again
2012-05-01On the morning of February 25th, 2012, police entered a residence by force in broad daylight. They arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Guiying and confiscated her personal belongings, including a desktop computer, a laptop computer, printer, compact discs, Falun Gong books, cash, a wage card, mobile phone, jewellery, and private documents. Ms. Wang's home was left in disarray. The money set aside by Ms. Wang and her siblings to pay for their mother's hospital bills was also taken. The police officers not only refused to return the money, but also threatened that they would sentence Ms. Wang to prison. She is currently detained at the Baoding City Detention Centre. -
Ms. Qin Li Detained for Over 3 Months; Her Elderly Mother Pleads for Help to Rescue Her
2012-04-30Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Qin Li was tutoring students in her home on December 26th, 2011, when police broke into her home and arrested her. Ms. Qin has been detained at the Wangxiangtai Brainwashing Centre in Chongqing, and brutally tortured for over 3 months. Her 73-year-old mother has written a letter to urge people to pay attention to this case and help rescue her daughter. -
Mr. Wei Chaohai and His Son, Mr. Wei Bin, of Sichuan Province Detained in Deyang Prison for Years
2012-04-30Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Wei Chaohai and his son, Wei Bin were both imprisoned and persecuted in Deyang Prison. In 2002, Mr. Wei Bin was arrested and sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment. He was held in Deyang Prison from 2004 through September 2005, where he was subjected to several methods of torture, including brutal beatings, and being forced to stand for extended periods while facing the scorching sun during summer. In September 2009, Mr. Wei's father, Wei Chaohai was also arrested, and sentenced to seven years. In 2011, he was transferred to Deyang Prison and subjected to continued persecution. -
Mr. Li Quan and His Family from Yunnan Province Have Endured Persecution Since 1999
2012-04-29Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Quan and his family have been persecuted since July, 1999, because they practise and firmly believe in Falun Gong. In 2000, the three brothers in the family went to Beijing to appeal against the persecution and were arrested and sentenced to forced labour. On February 14th, 2012, Mr. Li Quan's home was ransacked again and he was arrested. He is now being detained at Fengqing County Detention Centre. -
More Than 20 Practitioners Arrested in Yantai City
2012-04-29On March 20th, 2012, officers from the Zhifu District Police Department, Yantai City, Shandong Province arrested more than 20 practitioners. Fifteen [15] of them are being held in the brainwashing centre. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) agents forced practitioners to watch maliciously fabricated video defaming Falun Gong. In addition, they tortured them. Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Ren Aihua disobeyed the illegal orders after she was arrested. The head of the brainwashing centre, Liu Guoyao, physically abused her by punching, kicking, and hitting her head, face, lower back and other places. Guard Zhang handcuffed Ms. Ren so tightly that the cuffs cut into her flesh. She suffered severe contusion on her wrists and fainted due to the sharp pain. -
Persecution Suffered by Mr. Li Zhenxing from Baoding City, Hebei Province
2012-04-28On August 7th, 2008, I was posting and distributing information exposing the persecution at night when a jeep suddenly stopped in front of me and several men rushed out to surround me. One of them strangled my neck and I nearly suffocated. I was taken to Mancheng Detention Centre. My ankles were fastened with two iron rings welded onto both ends of a rod. There was another ring in the middle of the rod. My wrists were fastened to this ring, crisscrossed. There was a small hole below the middle ring and this ring was secured to the rings on my legs using a 20-cm long wire. Once this instrument was put on me, I could only squat with both hands hugging my knee caps. I could not stand upright. Guard Xu Huilai viciously beat me with a broomstick and the bruises sustained from the beatings took a very long time to heal. -
Ms. Shi Jinhua Sentenced to Prison on False Evidence
2012-04-28Ms. Shi Jinhua, 72, was arrested in Shanghai on June 4th, 2010. On October 25th, 2010, she was sentenced to four years in prison for mailing letters that explain the facts about Falun Gong. In prison, to force her into renouncing Falun Gong, the guards tied Ms. Shi's hands behind her back and force-fed her unknown drugs. Over the past 11 years, Ms. Shi has been arrested and detained 14 times. During detention, she has suffered brutal torture and beatings. Her home has been ransacked many times, and many of her personal belongings have been confiscated. Money has been extorted from her several times. -
A Healthy Man Tortured for Almost 5 Years in a Mental Hospital, His Mother Attacked When She Went to Visit Him
2012-04-27Mr. Zhao Xianghai was young and healthy and never complained, but the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecuted him due to his firm belief in Falun Gong. In August 2007, officials from Xiangtan City 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) conspired with the staff at Mr. Zhao's workplace to put him in a mental hospital. Over a long period of time, doctors and nurses injected him with unknown substances. As a result, Mr. Zhao, who had been very healthy, became very weak. On March 30th, 2012, when his mother went to see him, medical workers surrounded her and roughly searched her.
