Recent Crimes Committed by Lu Yaqin and Other Guards in Hebei Province Women's Forced Labour Camp

In Hebei Province Women's Forced Labor Camp, seven practitioners who appealed to the government were shocked with electric batons by guard Lu Yaqin on August 15th, 2011. Later, Ms. Ye was beaten by the head of Division 3, Liu Ziwei, with a large electric baton. That day, Ms. Ye's right hand became severely swollen, and afterward she had difficulty walking and going up or down stairs. Due to the damage to the radial nerve of her right arm, her thumb's muscle became atrophied and she couldn't hold chopsticks in her right hand while eating. For a long time, she requested to go to the hospital for medical treatment but she was always rejected. -
Seven Practitioners in the Tongren Area in Guizhou Province Sentenced
2012-01-06Seven practitioners from the Tongren Area of Guizhou Province were sentenced to prison: Mr. Jiang Qirong, to five years; Mr. Jiang's wife, three years; Jue Daoyin, four years; Ms. Huang Meixian, two years; Yao Xinping, two years; Ms. Long Zhenping, in her 40s, one and a half years; and Mr. Yang Hang, ten months. In August 2010, many banners reading “Falun Gong is good!” “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” appeared in the Tongren Area. Local police arrested several practitioners, and some have been held in the Xieqiao Detention Centre in Tongren City. -
Police Officer Liu Caijun from Chifeng City Interrogates and Threatens Victim's Family
2012-01-06On April 19th, 2011, three police officers arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Ren Suying. Liu Caijun, head of Ongniud's domestic security division, took the lead to brutally beat Ms. Ren. One 190 days later, her body was still black and blue. Now Ms. Ren's family is suing Liu Caijun and they have submitted the accusation to the Chifeng City Procuratorate. However, when Liu Caijun heard about this, he threatened Ms. Ren's family. The day after she went to court, Liu Caijin called Ms. Ren's husband and told him to divorce her. Mr. Ren Liyou told him to stay away from them, and that he would sue him because he brutally beat innocent people. Liu threatened, “You'd better think twice,” meaning that if Mr. Liu dared to sue him, he would not stop harassing him. -
Mr. Zhou Jingcheng from Ningxiang County, Hunan Province Still Being Detained after Three Months
2012-01-06Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhou Jingcheng from Ningxiang County, Hunan Province, was arrested by the local police on August 20th, and has been detained for close to three months. Mr. Zhou is now extremely weak. He has symptoms of dizziness, low blood pressure, and general malaise. After Mr. Zhou was arrested, his family went to the Ningxiang County Detention Centre multiple times demanding he be released, but all their requests have been rejected. Since the Chinese Communist Party launched the persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999, Mr. Zhou has been detained eight times, sent to forced labour camps twice, sentenced once, and has been beaten and tortured. -
Mr. Liang Qidong and Mr. Sun Zongxu Persecuted in Shandong Provincial Prison
2012-01-05In order to intensify the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, the Shandong Provincial Prison specifically set up the Eleventh Prison Division. All Falun Gong practitioners who newly arrive in the Shandong Provincial Prison are first sent for intensive brainwashing. The guards employ many kinds of torture to persecute them. The prison has heinously persecuted many practitioners to their deaths. Some practitioners who did not die were persecuted so badly that they are now disabled. Mr. Liang Qidong was beaten and physically abused. Mr. Sun Zongxu is very weak as a result of persecution, and is very pale because he has not seen sunlight for a long time. -
Kind-hearted Grocery Store Owner Tried
2012-01-05Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Peichen was tried by the Tonghua County Court, Jilin Province, on December 14th. He was arrested by the police on July 17th, and then detained at the Tonghua Detention Centre for five months, where he was subjected to severe torture by agents and police officers from the 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong). -
Blinded by Persecution, Ms. Cui Rong from Qiqihar City Has Died
2012-01-05Sixty-eight year old Ms. Cui Rong started practising Falun Gong in 1995 and benefited both physically and mentally. After the persecution started in 1999, she was harassed and persecuted many times. As a result of torture, she became blind in both eyes. Ms. Cui was unable to take care of herself because of her blindness. When she was released from prison in 2006, she lived a hard and difficult life. She died on December 1st. -
The Crimes of Police Officer Huo Jinhui in Pingshan County, Hebei Province
2012-01-05During the twelve years of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecuting Falun Gong, among the police in Pingshan County, Hebei Province, Huo Jinhui is one of the most ferocious. The persecution he carried out involved arresting Falun Gong practitioners, beatings, burglary and robbery, extortion, forced brainwashing and more. He was also the criminal directly responsible for beating Falun Gong practitioner Xie Fengting to death. However, in this brutal, dark society ruled by the CCP, this killer Huo Jinhui has been free to act for eleven years. -
Older Practitioner Ms. Li Tingfang Dies after Being Abused in Suining Brainwashing Centre
2012-01-04In July 2011, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Tingfang was taken to the Suining Brainwashing Centre. She was released in October, and was noticeably slower mentally. Her symptoms became worse as time went on. She died on December 7th. She recounted her persecution experience of 2001: "They (police) transferred me to the Nanqiang Commune Brainwashing Centre. Guards Wang Xun and Mi Hao forced all of the practitioners to swear at Falun Gong every day. Another practitioner and I refused to. The guards then abused us in a number of ways, such as slapping us in the face, kicking and punching us, hanging us up by handcuffs, and depriving us of food." -
Ms. Li Shanshan Sentenced to Forced Labour Again, Tangshan Residents Try to Rescue Her, Collecting 528 Signatures So Far
2012-01-04Ms. Li Shanshan sued Gangbei Prison in Tianjin to rescue her innocent husband, Zhou Xiangyang, but was persecuted again. She was forcibly taken away from her booth in New Tiandi Supermarket by police officers from the Domestic Security Division in Tangshan on October 29th. She has apparently been sentenced to two years of forced labour. Back in January 2006, Ms. Li appealed for her husband, which offended Gangbei Prison officials. To get revenge, the prison contrived to get her sentenced to forced labour for one year and three months. -
The Tortures Used at Beijing Women's Forced Labour Camp
2012-01-04Beijing Women's Forced Labour Camp in the Daxing District has been a place where Falun Gong practitioners are detained and tortured. The practitioners detained there have been tortured by means such as being detained in a solitary compartment, forced-feedings, and sitting on a small stool for long periods of time. One practitioner was tied up to remain sitting on the small stool for months. The flesh on her bottom was raw and festering, and the bone was exposed. Such physical torture is hard to tolerate, especially for older people. One would feel pain in the back and waist shortly after sitting in this position. Many people had swollen feet or legs after sitting on the child's stool. -
Heilongjiang Practitioner Ms. Li Hongxia and Others Detained for Over Six Months and Now Face Court Hearings
2012-01-04Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Li Hongxia and Ms. Wang Xiuling were arrested in May 2011, while practitioner Ms. Ding Shiying was arrested in March 2011. All three women are currently being held at the Qitaihe City Detention Centre. Their families have tried to visit them many times, but have always been told, “They are being transformed.” [forcibly renounce Falun Gong] Recently, they heard that Ms. Li's and Ms. Wang's files were transferred to the Taoshan District Court, while Ms. Ding’s file was transferred to the Xinxing District Court. Ms. Li’s youngest child has suffered persecution since the third grade. Ms. Li's children have been forced to do child labour to survive and accept help from kindhearted people. They are terrified whenever they see an officer or a police vehicle. Their loving mother has now been arrested again. -
Beijing Normal University Graduate Student Yao Yuanying and Other Practitioners Sent to Forced Labour Camp
2012-01-03On October 23rd, police secretly broke into a flat and arrested nine Falun Gong practitioners. After being detained for more than one month, they were sent to a forced labour camp. Family members of Ms. Sun Lixin, Ms. Yao Yuanying, Ms. Chang Chunyu, Mr. Li Ziming and Mr. Guo Longbin have received notification of their two-year forced labour sentences. -
Claiming That They're Just Following Orders, Police in Shuangcheng Continue Mass Arrests of Falun Gong Practitioners
2012-01-03Between November 13th and December 12th, Shuangcheng officers arrested more than 70 Falun Gong practitioners. On December 14th and 17th, officers from all police stations in the Shuangcheng area arrested even more practitioners. Furthermore, 15 practitioners who were arrested earlier were sentenced to forced labour. One officer claimed during an arrest that, “We're just following orders.” -
Ningan Politics and Law Committee of Heilongjiang Province Conspired to Arrest Six Falun Gong Practitioners
2012-01-03On November 9th, police arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Hongxia at work and sent her to the Mudanjiang Brainwashing Centre. On November 28th, six more Falun Gong practitioners were detained in the Mudanjiang Detention Centre .
