This was a very successful event. Many people learnt the truth about the Jiang regime’s persecution and their hearts were touched when they found out that people are being tortured, raped and killed because they want to improve their health and moral standards by practising Falun Dafa.

Practitioners hope that by showing these television programs, they can help more people to recognise the horrific human rights abuses occurring against Falun Gong practitioners in China today. If all people in the world can stand up and condemn the Jiang regime’s brutal terror tactics against innocent Chinese people, then this persecution will no longer be able to continue.

'Thanks you for your letter on the Hong Kong authority’s introduction of Article 23 legislation and the implications for the Falun Gong...I have raised this issue in a letter to Chris Pattern, now the EU’s Commissioner for External Relations, and whom I know takes these issues very seriously.'

The practitioners spoke to the owner of a Chinese herbal medicine shop who had a lot of negative ideas about Falun Dafa. They realised that this is because the man has been affected by the government-controlled media in China, which is used to slander Dafa and spread lies to conceal Jiang Zemin’s horrific crimes against humanity. After the practitioners told this man the facts, he changed his initial misconceptions and in the end agreed that human rights in China is in a terrible situation.

Her ribs and pelvis were severely fractured; her internal organs were badly injured, and there was haemorrhaging inside her body..also, after her death, the police sent her body to be cremated. This is a clear example of Jiang's order to cremate practitioners locally to destroy any evidence of persecution.

Four criminals beat him ruthlessly for a nearly an hour in front of over 40 people in the prison. This healthy living person was senselessly killed by the severe beating. The major blood vessels of his neck were ruptured, and as a result his neck was swollen due to excess bleeding. The torture was too cruel to watch.

Some police would rush up into the building [where practitioners lived] and, when they saw the practitioners, they would grab each of them and stuff them into a large gunnysack, then beat and kick him/her before carrying the bagged practitioner downstairs and throwing him/her into a police car.

If the Hong Kong government wishes to continue to be seen as a democratic, open and free society then it must abandon the implementation of this proposed law. Not to do so threatens all those who live and work in Hong Kong, including those of its citizens who wish to practice Falun Gong, and those who wish to defend the right of others to do so.

When you learn that an innocent female college student's nipples were pierced through with an iron wire while the evil policemen laughed and joked at the victim's miserable screaming; when you learn that two Dafa practitioners were tied to a speeding motorcycle and dragged along the ground, do you, as a person with a conscience and a Chinese person with a human heart, still believe the propaganda from television, radio and newspapers?

No matter how hard you try, you will never cover up your unforgivable actions. History has shown that those who commit such crimes do not get away with it. You may have forgotten what justice is, but the rest of the world has not forgotten, and is watching you and judging you.

Dai Zhizhen, a practitioner who travelled from Australia to Japan addressed the media; "The purpose of my trip to Japan is to appeal to kind-hearted Japanese people...to rescue [Yoko Kaneko]. I don't want to see her...die from the tortures the way my husband did. I appeal to the Japanese government and media to help Yoko reunite with her husband."

During the three-day exhibition, many people visited the painting exhibition, including government officials, non-governmental organisation workers, professors, university students and high school students. Among them, many were Chinese students and scholars.

'"We observe that journalists and other advocates of free expression continue to be harassed, arrested and jailed and that more than 30 are currently in prison," Balding told the propaganda officials.'

On December 4,2002, The Main News (Germany) reported that a photo exhibition held in Veitshchheim attracted many people’s attention to Falun Gong, a traditional Chinese meditation practice. They also reported that it raised awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in China, which has already caused the murder of over 500 innocent practitioners.
