On November 7, 2002, a representative of the Ukraine government issued a certificate of merit to Falun Dafa practitioners who participated in the community expo. He said he understood Falun Dafa and that Dafa deserves the attention of the world's people.

On November 23, 2002, fifteen Dafa practitioners went to Teneriffa Island to hold the second Falun Dafa Information Day on the island.

"Two of those detained for Internet-related offenses have died in custody, apparently as a result of torture or ill-treatment at the hands of the police. Both are members of the Falun Gong spiritual movement.

On the 9 July 2001, a group of police officers burst into Liu Shan’s dormitory and kidnapped him without explanation. Since this time, his whereabouts are unknown and knowledge about his wellbeing is also unknown.

Practitioners who were tortured lay in the hallway, some foaming at the corner of their mouths, some moaning in pain. It was indeed a most horrific scene to behold...They beat me with rubber clubs and used up the electric charge in many electric batons. The muscles of my buttocks were beaten and deeply bruised and my knees became swollen; my neck vertebrae were broken and I vomited blood. I passed out many times.

I hope all kind people who stand for justice will please give us a hand in stopping these ruthless abuses against kindness, and help to return the world to a peaceful lovely place to live...

I share your concerns with respect to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, which is why I am a cosponsor of H. Con. Res. 188, which expresses the Sense of Congress that the People’s Republic of China should cease persecuting practitioners of Falun Gong.

[Finland's Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki] Tuomioja also brought up the violations of the human rights of members of the Falun Gong [..] movement, which he said was a cause for concern in Finland and the rest of Europe.

Today, as a Hong Kong resident, I can...speak on behalf of the Falun Gong, protest the incarceration of dissidents in Chinese psychiatric hospitals...It is unlikely anyone would try to stop me. But under the terms of Article 23, I would be in serious trouble.

I am a person who doesn't practice Falun Gong. I thought for a long time before writing this article. I wrote this because the words and deeds of the practitioners influenced me. This article is also a call from the bottom of my heart.

One student said: "If there's a chance, we should learn qigong." The other immediately said: "Then you should first study Falun Gong."
