It really was a wonderful day, considering the good weather, which made the location of the booth even more pleasant and ideal. We were not assigned a place, as we usually were, in the shopping centre, but at the hub of the bus and tram stations. That way, many people saw us performing the exercises and readily accepted a flyer.

From October 20 to 28 during Jiang's visit to the US, practitioners from Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States did Fa Zheng Nian [Using powerful pure thoughts to purify the surrounding environment.] at each top of the hour.

The following people are family members of United States residents. They are prisoners of conscience in the PRC and are being detained and tortured for their belief in Falun Gong. This is the start of a global campaign to rescue all of these family members who are being persecuted by Jiang's regime.

While she was detained in Beijing, the police took her to a strictly guarded basement room every day and used an unknown instrument to torture her... By the time she was sent back to the local police department in the middle of June, she had lost the ability to take care of herself. When she was sent home on June 28, her whole body was swollen; she had difficulty breathing and could not sleep. She was in extreme pain until she passed away on October 30, 2002.

On October 26 and 27, 2002, the Fourteenth Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit Meeting was held in Los Cabos, Mexico. Falun Gong practitioners from Mexico and five other countries were also present in front of the Chinese Embassy in Mexico City

Ms. Wang says that recent news from Mr. Zhang's lawyer, however, confirms that Mr. Zhang had actually been secretly sentenced to ten years in prison...[and] that he has been suffering "long term torture" that she says their lawyer describes as "beyond imagination."

"These are key facts about China, set for a sweeping leadership change during its 16th Communist Party Congress that opens on November 8."

Related anti-subversion laws under Article 23 directly affect the freedom of expression and civil liberties of those who live in, work in or visit Hong Kong. They also risk permanently undermining confidence in the place, say critics [of the law].

In the past three years, dictator Jiang's regime has ruthlessly persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in China. They control media channels to rampantly slander and attack Falun Gong. Their extreme activities are making more and more people disgusted over the persecution. Overseas, with the quick spread of Falun Gong in more than 50 countries, more and more people are getting to know about Falun Gong. Inside China, people are becoming bored of the media's fabricated and ridiculous reports. The hard work of deep and comprehensive truth clarification by fellow practitioners in China has had impressive effects on the public.

Several days ago, a gentleman talked to me about Falun Gong. Below is part of the conversation (edited) that I want to share with fellow practitioners and friends.
