To coincide with North American Falun Dafa practitioners' large scale activities during the Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin's visit to the United States, practitioners in Europe will hold peaceful appeals in front of Chinese embassies and consulates in European countries between October 20, 2002 and October 27, 2002.

More and more kind-hearted Germans have realized the truth. They sincerely support us and hope that we will succeed. The practitioners also clarified the truth and handed out truth-clarifying materials to tourists from China at nearby scenic spots.

On the evening of October 22nd, people walked by our site one after another, and they all accepted the truth-clarifying materials that practitioners handed out. Many of them said, “You are doing a great job!” Some said, “Carry on with it,” and “I support you.”

In order to create the false impression that Chinese people are happy about dictator Jiang's visit, the Chinese Embassy in the United States spent large amounts of money to hire representatives of local Chinese associations to publish full page advertisements and articles in Chinese newspapers during the time leading up to his visit.

When the reporter asked why the practitioner didn't take shelter from the rain, he amiably smiled: "I have been paying attention to whether Jiang comes out or not and do not notice the rain. I want to tell him to stop the persecution face to face when I see him."

On October 22-28, Japanese Dafa practitioners peacefully appealed outside the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo 24 hours a day to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to the public and expose the Jiang regime's atrocious crimes, its brutal persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners, and its extension to countries abroad.

Ms. Themis Cortes Lopoz, one of the leaders of the organization, said that after they received the flyer from Falun Gong, they investigated this spiritual cultivation group and contacted some practitioners. They found that Falun Gong is a wonderful practice, and very different from what the Jiang regime has claimed. They were worried about the persecution in China, and invited Falun Gong practitioners to fight against this terrible persecution together with them.

I picked up a flyer that contained a picture and explanation of the 36 western Falun Gong practitioners who traveled to Tiananmen Square. It also contained an article by a Canadian practitioner. The flyer had a few scissor cuts on it but the content was still easily readable.

The wife of a party secretary was put in jail because she firmly practiced Dafa. The secretary made many phone calls to the county supervisor and other leaders, stating the benefits of Falun Dafa and the righteousness of his wife, and requested her release.

As soon as he got money from his begging, he would not keep a penny with him. Instead, he would immediately pass along the money to other people who were even poorer.

Only when our actions and viewpoints comply with the principles of the Fa [Teachings of Falun Dafa - Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance] as a whole, is it true comprehension of the Fa. And when you have the true comprehension of the Fa, all the behaviours of a person comply with the Fa.
