The special report takes an in-depth look at Jiang Zemin's personal motives for engaging China's resources to persecute Falun Gong.

At a certain point during this persecution, my mother was brought in to see me. My mother was so frightened to see the bloody scenes, including how they force-fed me with water that she was in shock. She finally fainted on seeing how badly my body was swollen as the torture had been escalated. I felt very sad and could not bear to let my mother have to stand this indirect torture.

The longest beating lasted almost an entire day. They cuffed one of her hands, and a cop got hold of the other end of the cuff and swung her around. The cuff bit into her wrist. The scars are still present today. The worst moment was when they pressed her down on an iron chair, and they had 8 people surrounding her and beat her at the same time as if they were trying to tear her body apart. Her body still hasn't recovered from the beatings.

After Jiang entered the hotel through the back door, a truck appeared near the hotel. The front of the truck displayed these words: "Jiang sold the country." On all four sides of the truck, large yellow banners read: "Jiang, return my motherland! Traitor of the people! Criminal of history!" "344 square hectares of Chinese soil officially given to Russia!"

During the press conference, over 300 practitioners from the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Taiwan and other countries stood firmly behind the speakers in the rain. They held banners reading, "Falun Dafa is Good" "Dictator Jiang: Stop Persecuting Falun Gong," "Please Help Rescue My Family Member" in both Chinese and English.

Vicious authorities had beaten Cui to death. According to the information provided by people who had seen Cui's corpse: the back Cui's skull had been crushed inwards, his leg was broken, both hands and his shoulder were black.

Just because He Yuanchao believes in Falun Dafa, which is guided by the principle of "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance", he was thrown into the forced labour camp where his constitutional right to freedom of belief was violated. In addition, he sustained a bone injury and knew that he was likely to becme disabled.

On July 19 2002, because of a collaborator’s betrayal, police kidnapped him, and he is currently illegally detained in Yantai. Due to a hunger strike and brutal torture, he is now in a life-threatening situation. When facing interrogation, he took the entire situation upon himself, and did not implicate any other practitioners. As a result, the police could not obtain any information from him.

Wang Quanfeng's crimes are too numerous to list. In such a small district (only 8 towns), 4 practitioners have been tortured to death; more than 10 practitioners have been sentenced to jails and labour camps; and about 20 practitioners have been forced to leave home.

"The Falun Gong spiritual movement in the United States say they are being spied upon and intimidated by Chinese officials in an attempt to foil plans to protest this week's visit by Chinese President Jiang Zemin. The spying includes high-tech listening devices used to record meetings of Falun Gong members in private homes."

"Falun Gong supporters have sued Chinese President Jiang Zemin in U.S. federal court, accusing him of committing torture and genocide in China's crackdown on the spiritual movement, a lawyer for the group said yesterday."

"Two Galleria-area hotels have canceled reservations of Falun Gong practitioners in Houston to demonstrate against Chinese President Jiang Zemin when he visits here this week. "I don't understand what the problem is," said Lisa Nappi, a Falun Gong practitioner from Virginia. "This is America. This is a free land.""

The manager has quite a lot of friends among the police officers. I once asked him to clarify the truth to his police friends. He said, "They all know what's going on. Those who are real policemen don't do this kind of thing (persecution). It's always those who can't do any real work who commit sins to please their higher ups."

Falun Dafa practitioners from Bowen helped to celebrate "Falun Dafa Day" at Townsville and Thuringowa, which are located in north Queensland State, Australia. Soon after that, due to the enormous interest from local residents, practitioners decided to launch a practice site at Townsville. Right after the practice site was established, more than 50 people showed interest, hoping to learn Falun Gong.
