One MEP wrote: “Thank you for your letter of 4th June regarding an independent investigation into allegations of organ harvesting from prisoners in China. I share your concerns about reports of this appalling and barbaric practice. As you know the European Parliament has passed several resolutions condemning it and called for improvements in China’s human rights record. I am one of the more active MEPs pressing for change in this area and will be pleased to continue to raise the issue wherever I am able.”

On the afternoon of the 3rd of June, Russian Falun Gong practitioners held an activity at the Baltic Sea Film House to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners in secret concentration camps, labour camps and prisons to be sold for profit and cremating the bodies to destroy evidence.

On May the 14th, Falun Dafa practitioners held activities in the beautiful forest park in Guadeloupe City to mark World Falun Dafa Day and to spread Falun Gong to the public. An exhibition of paintings along with poems once again exposed the violent persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, which touched people’s hearts.

Practitioners are still being brutally tortured at Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. Practitioners are handcuffed twenty-four hours a day, and tied to a bed in the shape of cross for at least fourteen hours a day. Such tortures have lasted for more than half a month. On April 29th, 2006, Yan Chunjiao was struck in the face over ten times by a police officer. The office director forced Yan Chunjiao to kneel down. After she refused to do so, Ma Jishan kicked her right foot, causing her ankle to swell up and become dislocated.

Ms. Li Ping, 32 years old, was sentenced to two years at a forced labour camp on January 16th, 2006, due to her persistence in practising Dafa. Tianjin's Banqiao Women’s Forced Labour Camp applied devastating means of torture against Li Ping: putting her in a prison cell and letting other inmates monitor her tightly; not letting her get any sleep, not letting her eat, not letting her drink water, not letting her contact anyone, and not allowing her to write letters to her family. Facing such inhuman persecution, Li Ping’s physical condition began to deteriorate and her will to live nearly collapsed.

Ms. Du Shurong, 69, travelled to Beijing three times to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. One day in January 2001, the police broke into her home and arrested her and her husband. Du Shurong was sentenced to one year in a forced labour camp and her husband was sentenced to two years. Later, her family paid several tens of thousands of yuan to get them out. Subsequently, they were harassed and monitored constantly by the police. Du Shurong suffered from enormous mental stress, and as a result, her physical condition deteriorated gradually. She passed away on December 8th, 2005.

In mid-May 2006, the remains of two Falun Dafa practitioners, Ms. Fu Keshu and Mr. Xu Genli, were found on Jingang Mountain of Jiangxi province. The remains of Mr. Xu Genli were reduced to merely bones, while the remains of Ms. Fu Keshu were not yet decomposed. On November 16th, 2005 they both went to Jingang Mountain and were never seen alive again. In the past Fu Keshu had spent time in detention for practising Falun Dafa. At present, police claim that they probably died suddenly somehow while travelling together , yet their family had searched in vain for them on the mountain, then their remains suddenly appeared there.

When some practitioners speak, they like to imply which party is good or bad, which party needs salvation, or which party has already taken a righteous position. In fact, these comments all derive from human notions. Some practitioners get very upset when others criticize the party that they approve of. This anger comes from wanting others to accept and think the way they do. The motivation for debating the merits of the political parties is wanting to prove oneself right and wanting to validate oneself, not the principles layed out in Falun Gong.

Having been through tests of life and death and having experienced many hardships, local practitioners and I have walked our paths thanks to Master's protection. During each stage of Fa-rectification, we remind each other and encourage each other. Although our journey has not been smooth, we share a feeling of confidence.

More than 600 Falun Gong practitioners from the Mid-Taiwan area were assembled in the Douliou Elementary School in Yunlin County to hold a group Fa-study and experience sharing. During the event, every practitioner looked inward for his or her own shortcomings in cultivation, and encouraged each other

To celebrate May 5th Day (Lunar calendar), the "Malacca Dragon Boat Promoting Association" hosted the 23rd annual Dragon Boat Match along the banks of Malacca River. Twelve teams participated in the event, including two Falun Gong teams. This was the fifth time Falun Gong participating in the event.

Mayor James Brainard of the City of Carmel, Indiana proclaimed the month of June 2006 as Falun Dafa Month in the City of Carmel and asked the community to join in support of the effort to end the human rights violations in China.

Han Dynasty (206BC-220AD) Emperor Guangwu (Liu Xiu 5 BC-57AD), was highly respected by his ministers and people because of his broadmindedness, modesty, respectfulness, and approachability. Unlike despotic rulers, he was never opinionated, conceited, arrogant, or patronising. Even people who had a bias against him would swear allegiance to him after they got to know him better.
