Many tourists from various countries accepted leaflets. After hearing the facts about Falun Gong, they came to sign the petition one after another to show their support for Falun Dafa and the persecuted practitioners. People were outraged by the fact that such a peaceful cultivation practice is oppressed by the Chinese dictatorial regime.

Representatives of the Falun Gong movement welcomed the decision, and requested that the government pay compensation to those banned from entering Iceland, as well as handing over the list of undesirable people so it could be destroyed. They said that the government had attempted to stifle the voice of justice and bow to the wishes of a foreign dictator. They had gone against the wishes of the Icelandic people and had set a dangerous precedent to other democratic countries in their actions against Falun Gong.

On the evening of December 2nd, 2005, the homeless Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Hurui was arrested on her way to her mother's house. It was not the first time she had been arrested. The policemen drove three police cars to her mother's restaurant and arrested Ms. Li without showing any documents. The detention and torture made her blood pressure rise to a dangerous level. Now, her life is at risk. To avoid being blamed police asked her family to take her home on December 10th, 2005. However, the police still go to her house every day to harass her.

Falun Dafa practitioners held in the Jilin Province Prison are suffering from severe torture every day. Especially in the Third Division, prison guards have purposefully made the living conditions very odious. Within only 160 square metres, they hold 160 practitioners. Sometimes practitioners could only get one cup of water to drink at night. The persecution in the prison is continuing and the prison guards are doing bad things every day.

In 2001, while imprisoned in Xinhua Jail in Mianyang, the wardens left drug addicts to monitor Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Lin. They exposed him to the snow during winter and the scorching sun in summer. Wardens Wei Ze and Zhao Yong encouraged the detainees to beat him. He was only allowed two to three hours of sleep a day. A female police officer told him, "I thought you were dead."

Mr. Gan Guoping, 41 years old, went to appeal at the Beijing National Appeals Office in December 2000. He was arrested and Mr. Gan was brought back to the Neijiang Detention Centre. During his detention, he was tortured and harassed by the police, and he was forced to pay the travel expenses of the 610 officers and police for bringing him back. The total cost was several thousand yuan. He was arrested again later. During the persecution, Mr. Gan Guoping suffered severely both mentally and physically. In December 2004, he was diagnosed with terminal cirrhosis of the liver. He passed away on December 17th, 2005.

In early 2002, I felt sick and went to a hospital for check-up. I was diagnosed with late-stage liver cancer. My family members persuaded me to undergo a period of medical treatments, which cost nearly 10,000 yuan¹. However, my illness did not improve at all and even became more severe. Finally, I could not even bear to turn over in bed because I felt as if there were needles poking me from inside my body.

When the crane came, the operator looked at the ditch and said, "That's really deep. Are you sure the person and the vehicle are all right?" When the people by the roadside all said, "Yes," the crane driver replied, "That is impossible. It is a miracle. I will not charge for today's trip." The one who fell into the ditch is a Falun Gong practitioner. He gave them all cards with "Falun Dafa is good" on them. The miracle of Falun Dafa spread in the village again.

As the 2006 new year approached, the Minghui (MH) Radio Station kicked off its short wave broadcast to China on December 30th as a warm gift to practitioners in China and all of their fellow countrymen. The station, founded in mid November, 2005, was created to clarify the truth to all Minghui readers.
