Katrina is seven years old. At school she is a good student and all her schoolmates and teachers like her. At home, she is mummy and daddy’s young helper. She helps mummy to look after her younger sister and do some simple housework. Katrina should be an unworried girl but she is feeling heavy in her heart because her big wish to end the persecution of Falun Gong has not yet come true.

On the 28th and 29th of May, Falun Gong practitioners took part in an alternative health fair in Uddevalla. They performed the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and informed the participants about Falun Gong and the ongoing persecution occurring in China. They also set up an exhibition of posters and photos, accompanied by an information table.

Ms. Wang Lixuan was 27 years old. Her son Meng Hao was only eight months old. In October 2000, Ms. Wang Lixuan went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. She took her son with her, holding him in her arms. On the morning of November 7, 2000, they were arrested by police on Tiananmen Square. Police took her to the Yantai Development Region's Beijing Liaison Office located on the 18th floor. Around 4 p.m., Ms. Wang Lixuan and her son plunged to their deaths from the 18th floor of that building. The circumstances of Ms. Wang Lixuan's and her baby son's death have still not been properly investigated.

Mr. Li Maoxun, 70 years old and a retired worker of the Dalian City Procuratorate in Liaoning Province, firmly cultivated Falun Gong, which resulted in a forced labour sentence and illegal incarceration at the Dalian Detention Centre for a year and a half. His son and daughter were sentenced to three years of forced labour since they had appealed on behalf of Falun Dafa in Beijing. The prolonged persecution and frequent attacks made Mr. Li ill. He passed away on March 31, 2005.

Practitioner Ms. Li Cuiyan, 48 years old, worked at the Qinhuangdao City Oil Piping Bureau in Hebei Province. She went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa and was brutally tortured. In August 2000 she was locked up in a detention centre. The guards beat her for practising the Falun Gong exercises. She held a hunger strike and was savagely beaten and force-fed by several guards. She was later sent to the notorious Changli County Brainwashing Class in Qinhuangdao City. After her release, the perpetrators continued to monitor and follow her, and she lived under tremendous mental pressure. She fell from the top of a five-story building and was paralysed. After four years of suffering, she passed away in March 2005.

Ms. Xu Yaoxian aged 48, of Jiamusi, retired from the Huimin Food Plant in 1992. After she divorced in 1993, she became a single-parent of a boy. Ms. Xu started practising Falun Dafa in 1996 and went to Beijing to appeal. She was arrested twice, and detained for 15 days. She spent more than two months in jail the first time and was sent to a forced labour camp the second time where she remained until June 2001. Ms. Xu disappeared on October 7, 2002. No one has seen or heard from her since then.

After coming to know the facts, the official criticised Jiang for depleting national resources to persecute Falun Gong while ruining many proper businesses. He expressed his innermost thoughts, "Supposing Jiang had not issued the order, why would we ever arrest Falun Dafa practitioners?"

I demanded of myself that I strictly follow the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" to improve my heart, and that I earnestly do well the three things that Teacher requested. As individuals, we gain without pursuit. Now I am full of energy and I can see clearly. My blood sugar is back to normal, and my eyes are getting better every day. I am, indeed, totally healthy.

I was forced to sign my name when I attended an anti-Falun-Gong event. Even though I do not practise Falun Gong, I know Falun Gong is good. I have met many Falun Gong practitioners and have found their words and deeds different from what the media reports. I know that they are the best of citizens. I solemnly declare that what I said and did against Falun Gong before is invalid. I will take every opportunity to tell people that Falun Gong is great to make up for the mistake I made.

Lawyers for Falun Gong practitioners confirmed today that proceedings were filed yesterday in the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory against Foreign Minister Alexander Downer, seeking an injunction to restrain the Foreign Minister from relying upon certificates he issued pursuant to the Diplomatic Privileges and Immunity Regulations 1992, that prevent the display of banners and the use of amplified music outside the Chinese Embassy in Canberra.

Mr. Chen Yonglin, a diplomat from the Chinese Consulate in Sydney, who was in charge of monitoring and persecuting Falun Gong, has refused to continue serving the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in its suppression of Falun Gong, and has broken away from the CCP. Mr. Chen's defection shocked Australia and the entire international community, and has become a media focus.

On June 5, 2005, Hsinpo Primary School in Taoyuan County, Taiwan held a celebration for its 80th anniversary. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to set up a stall on the school grounds to introduce Falun Dafa and to expose the persecution. The practitioners also held a photo exhibition depicting Falun Dafa's wide spread around the world.
