France: Appeal at the Chinese Embassy in Paris to Support the Hearing Against Jiang Zemin in the Chicago Court of Justice

United Kingdom: First Day of the 2004 Scotland Car Tour
 After its launch by Member of Scottish Parliament Mike Pringle, UK Falun Gong practitioners’ 2004 Scotland Car Tour left Edinburgh and travelled to the city of Aberdeen. In Aberdeen, the Car Tour practitioners joined other UK practitioners for a large scale outdoor event to let more people know about the brutal persecution that is happening in China. |

Radio Free Asia: Supporting the Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin in a Chicago Court
According to a report by a journalist for Radio Free Asia, German and other European Falun Gong practitioners, human rights groups and the Global Alliance to Bring Jiang to Justice, participated in various activities at the Chinese Embassies and Consulates around Europe to voice their support for the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin currently taking place in a Chicago court. The lawsuit against Jiang Zemin filed by Falun Gong practitioners began proceedings in Chicago on May 27th. |

Police Beat Dafa Practitioner Ms. Li Xianglan to Death in Shandong Province
Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Xianglan, a 48-year-old woman from a village in Shandong Province, was taken by police to the police station in 2001. When Li Xianglan was taken, her family, who were rural people, became very frightened that they would also be implicated. so they did not even go to the local police station, which was less than 500 meters from their home, to inquire about her. When she was released she was in poor physical condition and barely able to walk. She collapsed on the ground and her distressed husband called for his daughter and son-in-law. They moved her to a bed and discovered that she had already died. Upon viewing the body, they noticed that her legs were all bruised and missing skin in places. |

Additional Facts Regarding the Torture Death of Ms. Liu Caiyun at the Baimalong Forced Labour Camp
Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Caiyun, over thirty years old, came from Yongzhou, Hunan Province. In October 2000, she was abducted by police while she was walking to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. The police took her to Zhuzhou's Baimalong Forced Labour Camp, where she was tortured for eight months. Ms. Liu went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. In March 2003, Ms. Liu Caiyun was tortured until she was in critical condition. Later, Liu Caiyun died as a result of the continual torture she was subjected to at Zhuzhou's Baimalong Forced Labour Camp. |

Falun Gong Practitioner Suffers Severe Mental Trauma from Persecution in Tianshui City
59 year old Mr Yang Keqiang from Tianshui City was formerly a very healthy person and had a nice family until he was subjected to the persecution inside the forced labour camp. After his release, his entire family lost their source of income. This made the already difficult family situation even worse. Now although Yang Keqiang is able to go to work, his mind is still disoriented as a result of the trauma he received. Even his co-workers and people who know him say Yang is now like a completely different person. |

Where Does the Money Come From?
Some people wonder about where the money comes from for Falun Gong activities. They often ask us how we are able to print materials to clarify the truth, hold activities, and host big events. They wonder, "Where does the money come from to cover your expenses?" Then, not knowing the facts, they wrongly speculate that Falun Gong must have political supporters or donors. In fact, nobody has been able to provide evidence to support this conclusion because it doesn't exist. |

United States: Wang Taihua, Secretary for the Anhui Provincial Party Committee Served With Lawsuit in Boston
Bo Xilai, the Chinese Minister of Commerce who was visiting Washington, D.C. was served with a lawsuit during the afternoon of April 22, 2004 in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia by Falun Gong practitioners on charges of "torture, genocide and crimes against humanity." More recently, Wang Taihua, Anhui Provincial Party Committee Secretary was served with a class-action lawsuit on the morning of May 24, on the same charges as Bo Xilai: "torture, genocide and crimes against humanity." |

Korea: Falun Dafa Practitioners Tell People the Facts and Expose Jiang's Crimes
 On May the 26th 2004, Falun Gong practitioners in Korea held various activities to clarify the truth to support the lawsuit against Jiang in Chicago, including a group exercise practice and press conference. Then the practitioners exhibited torture methods that are being used in China to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. The exhibition caught the attention of many visitors and local residents, who took photos. |
