On Saturday the 29th of May, UK Falun Gong practitioners began their 2004 Scotland Car Tour aiming to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Four practitioners from both Scotland and England will be taking part in the Car Tour, which will visit 6 Scottish cities in 6 days. The tour was launched in Scotland’s capital city of Edinburgh by local Member of Parliament Mike Pringle.

On May 27th, the US Federal Seventh Circuit Court conducted a court debate on Falun Gong practitioner’s lawsuit against former Chinese president Jiang Zemin on charges of torture, genocide and crimes against humanity. In this lawsuit, the defendant Jiang is sued for leading the movement in China that attempts to eliminate Falun Gong.

On the afternoon of May the 27th, Belgian Falun Gong practitioners overcame many difficulties and held an appeal outside the Chinese Consulate in Brussels. Practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts every half an hour to support the latest developments in the Chicago court where an appeal is being considered in the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin. Drivers passing by beeped to show their support.

For the fourth time, practitioners organised a Falun Gong workshop for the Natural Healing Association of Pforzheim. This association is the biggest and oldest natural healing institution in Germany and has many members. The workshop began at 10 o’clock in the morning, and once again all the seats were fully occupied.

Zhang Mingkai was a Dafa practitioner from Liaoning Province. On April 9, 2002, authorities in Dalian City launched a mass arrest of practitioners. Zhang was arrested. While in detention, Zhang was beaten and insulted many times by criminals in the same cell. He was also forced to scratch criminals' backs covered with scabies. By the next month when Zhang was released, he had also developed scabies all over his body. After his release, in order to avoid further persecution, Zhang and his wife were forced into homelessness. Because of poor living conditions and lack of medical care, Zhang passed away in May 2003, seven months after he left home.

This article was written three years after Dafa practitioner Liu Dongxue died of torture. It tells the details of the tortures that he suffered because he practised Falun Gong, and is meant to expose the bloody persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners by Jiang's followers so that all the kind people would no longer be deceived by the lies and slander.

Mr. Zhou Rong used to live in a district of Guiyang City. He was arrested when he went to Beijing to appeal in 2000. First he was sent to Tianjin City, then Hebei Province, until he was dying. After he was sent home, his family took him to PLA No.44 Hospital for emergency treatment. He died in the hospital in 2001, only in his 20's.

In February 2004, officers from Saihan Branch, Huhehaote City Police in Inner Mongolia arrested Dafa practitioner Yang Shulan. Family members are not allowed to visit her. Her relatives called the police many times to ask about her situation, but they refused to answer any questions. When the relative telephoned and asked, "Why did you arrest an innocent person?" the policeman did not say a word. Her relatives in the U.S. have no choice but to seek help from sympathetic media, supportive government officials, and people with kind hearts.

I felt I was going too slow and started to feel anxious. At the same time an attachment of fear emerged. I feared that I was falling behind, and I feared how other practitioners would look at me if I could not finish the work on time. Then, the tape player stopped working and I had to get a new one. In the end, I was far behind and needed help from other practitioners. I was the last one to finish the work. At that time we knew Teacher was going to turn the lectures into a book we would use to study the Fa. We did not know this precious book would be named Zhuan Falun.

Unfortunately, the VCD player was broken. They had a couple of repairmen come and it was still not fixed. The parents said: "Let's forget it. It is not that important." She said, "No, you have to see the truth. Once you know the facts, you will go and tell others. The fact that my health has recovered is the best evidence." As she spoke she plugged the VCD player cord into an outlet. To their surprise, the machine started to work again. They played the disk for a whole hour, with very clear pictures and sound. When they later tried to play a movie, the machine failed again.

Since many Dafa practitioners drive cars almost everyday, we think that this might be a good way to use our cars to clarify the truth to people. We pasted Falun Gong photos and posters appealing for an end to the persecution to the rear of our cars. Upon seeing the information on our cars many people talked to us about the persecution of Falun Gong.

From May 21st to the 27th, Sydney Falun Gong practitioners peacefully appealed in front of Sydney's Chinese Consulate for 7 consecutive nights. Practitioners protested Jiang's illegal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners who strive to be better people by living according to the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance."

On May 27, to support the hearing of the Chicago lawsuit against Jiang at U.S. 7th Circuit Court, Falun Dafa practitioners in Japan rallied in front of the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo. Practitioners displayed banners reading, "Internationally Bring Jiang to Justice," "Falun Dafa is Good" and "Jiang Sued Overseas for Genocide" to expose the crimes of Jiang and his followers to the Japanese people.
