"There is evidence that the French police used brutal and excessive methods to handle Falun Gong practitioners. They came to Paris to attend the Chinese New Year Celebrations staged by the Chinese and French Governments. The arrested people did not protest. They only wore yellow. Two women were arrested while they walked on the Champs Eylsees. When they asked the reason for their arrest the police said: “You are wearing yellow - today yellow is illegal.”"

On February the 6th 2004, as part of her university course, a German practitioner had to perform an original 3-minute dance. The song this practitioner picked was “Free Xiong Wei.” A Professor mentioned that because the performance had touched the examiners’ hearts, they hoped that Xiong Wei will be rescued from China and have a bright future.The examination panel awarded this dance first place for excellence and artistic merit.

"There is no time to lose in bringing these criminals to justice. The despicable crimes perpetrated by Jiang Zemin and his accomplices have been exposed in broad daylight. The morality and conscience of the human race will not allow these crimes to continue unchecked. More and more people in the international community have stood up to voice their concerns over the horrendous human rights violations in this four-year-old campaign of persecution, which has been happening with unimaginable severity on an unprecedented scale in human history. We hope that Chinese officials on all levels could also wake up to the cruel reality and start doing whatever is in their powers to try to put an end to the evil persecution as quickly as possible."

"They handcuffed me and then stood on my hands. They whipped me with a leather belt and they used an electric-shock baton with 30,000 volts on sensitive parts of my body. Then they caused unimaginable pain by using the edges of a small wooden stick to press down on my toes. Finally they poured chilli powder into my mouth and nose. I still would not give them an answer and they all beat me together. The torture lasted from 5pm until 3am. Finally, they said if I gave them my name and address they would release me..."

The International Conference on “Genocide in the New Era”, organised by “Friends of Falun Gong Europe” and “International Advocates for Justice”, took place in Sweden’s capital, Stockholm from January 26th to January 28th 2004. This is one one of the conference speeches by Spanish lawyer Carlos Iglesias, entitled "Immunity, Impunity and Genocide in the New Age", which was given on the morning of Tuesday January 27th.

'On the 27th of last month, during the visit to France of Hu Jintao, the President of China, it was said that the French police treated some Falun Gong practitioners in an uncivilised manner. The “International Organisation for the Investigation of the Persecution of Falun Gong”, which is based in Canada, and some other international human rights organisations wrote a letter to Chirac, France’s president, expressing serious concern over this incident.'

In April, 2003, the head of the Shibalihe Women's Labour Camp received special notification that a quota of two Falun Gong practitioners' deaths was issued to the labour camp, sanctioning the escalation of violence against Falun Gong practitioners to get them to renounce their belief and give up their practice of Falun Gong... The police said, "We'll take no responsibility even if two of you are beaten to death, because the labour camp has received permission for two people to die!"

Officials at the Hewan Forced Labour Camp in Wuhan City have for a long time forced detainees to make toys for McDonald's, including an eagle toy and a bear toy. The workshop starts at 6:00 a.m. and stays open until 2:00 a.m. the next morning. The Sixth Team in the Hewan Forced Labour Camp specializes in persecuting women Falun Dafa practitioners.

At that time in the police station, there were over 400 Dafa practitioners from various areas who came to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Police dragged out them for interrogation one by one. I could only hear the painful screams of my fellow practitioners being tortured....There were practitioners who shouted at the police, telling them he couldn't take any more torture. Policemen just dragged that young man out and we never knew where they took him.

Frustrated, policeman Qi You said, "Falun Gong (practitioners) do not smoke, right?" and then lit a cigarette and forced it into Chen's mouth. He covered Chen's nose to force him to inhale. Chen passed out and later didn't know what happened. That day they took Mr. Chen and his wife to the police department for detention; their nine-year old child was left at home alone.

I knew that Bai had deceived me. Perhaps he had already colluded with the forced labour committee to deceive me. The Chinese Constitution says it protects every citizen's freedom of belief, freedom of speech, right to appeal. However, Falun Gong practitioners who only want to keep fit and be good people, have been ruthlessly deprived of all these basic human rights -- the ruling Party and government under Jiang's single-handed manipulation have trampled these constitutional rights.

My understanding is that our purpose in clarifying the truth to the United Nations Human Rights Commission about a resolution on human rights in China should be to save sentient beings. If the commission passes such a resolution, this won’t end the persecution - that can only be done by Dafa disciples - but a resolution like that, passed by the representatives of so many countries, would save countless sentient beings.

I felt I did not do anything wrong and showed the Chinese official pictures revealing the truth about the faked self-immolation on Tiananmen Square. I wanted to prove that what I said was true and here were the pictures as evidence. However, unexpectedly, when I opened the pictures to show him, he quickly walked away as if he was afraid that others would find out about the Jiang regime covering up the crimes of persecuting Falun Gong.

On the afternoon of February 20, about 50 Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioners held a peaceful appeal outside the Hong Kong customshouse. They delivered a petition letter regarding the ban on the entry of Canadian Falun Gong practitioner, Zenon Dolnyckyj. They urged the Hong Kong authorities not to follow Jiang Zemin's regime to persecute good people.

The songs that we sang expressed our heartfelt wishes. We hope people will see the beauty of Dafa and learn about the persecution occurring in China. We hope that people will no longer be deceived by the Jiang regime's lies and will not miss this opportunity of a lifetime.

On February 21, this year, Falun Gong practitioners in Washington State held the second "Legislative Day" at the State Capitol to further clarify the facts to the state government officials. "Peaceful journey of Falun Dafa" photo exhibition was also held at the same time.
