“The EU, in all political dialogue meetings with China, underlines the importance it attaches to respect for human rights, including the freedom of religion and belief and that it will continue to do so on every possible occasion. At every session of the human rights dialogue with China, the EU urges the Chinese authorities to respect the human rights of the followers of Falun Gong."

"Thanks for your letter. In your letter you mentioned the persecution of Falun Gong. Our Centre party and I totally agree with your standpoint that this persecution is not acceptable. We are happy to help you and pass this information to other people as you requested."

In Trinity College Dublin on Monday the 24th of February, a seminar was successfully held to discuss the wave of international lawsuits targeting Chinese officials who have participated in the campaign of genocide against Falun Gong practitioners. The aim of the seminar was to share legal expertise and experience in this regard, as well as to raise awareness about persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Academics and students of Trinity College, as well as members of the public attended the seminar.

On the 20th of February 2004, Swedish Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm. Their presence was once again to appeal for Jiang Zemin, the chief perpetrator of the persecution against Falun Gong, and his main accomplices, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang, to be dealt with according to the rule of law.

After the unreasonable arrest of Falun Gong practitioners during Hu Jintao’s January visit to Paris, French practitioners have been distributing materials to the citizens of Paris, revealing the recent incidents that happened locally and the Genocide the Jiang regime is carrying out against Falun Gong practitioners.

Falun Gong practitioners appealed for the chief culprits responsible for the persecution to be immediately brought to justice. Practitioners hope that all levels of Chinese officials and international circles will get to know the facts of the Jiang regime’s kidnapping and torturing of Falun Gong practitioners, thereby helping to stop the persecution in China.

I questioned the detention centre police as to why they opposed the law and regulations of the Chinese Constitution and tormented me with such a torture instrument that so gravely insults human dignity and impairs physical health. The police to my surprise ridiculed me, "So? Do you have a problem with it? Law? What is the law? Jiang Zemin is the law! We will do what Jiang Zemin says! If you have a problem you can talk to Jiang Zemin. Do you dare? We'll kill you!"

One day in June of 2000 Wang Jianfeng and many others broke into my home and threatened me, "We have new orders from Jiang. We thought everything was ok after holding the brainwashing class. But we have received orders via telephone from above that we must detain you until you are transformed."... Seeing that I still would not give in, they said: "She obviously will not give in." They then tried to force me to curse at a picture of Teacher. They beat me with wooden clubs until they shattered two of them. They said to me, "We have orders from Jiang Zemin -- it is not a crime to kill Falun Gong practitioners."

I was taken back to Fuxin and held at the detention centre there. The police at the detention centre told me, "You should just die here. This is the territory of Jiang Zemin."...One day, Wang Dazhu inserted a tube into my stomach and pumped in hard liquor and beer. He said, "You Falun Gong people don't drink alcohol, right? We are forcing you to drink alcohol. The head of the labour camp approved it."

An old man riding a bicycle hit by a car in Yangtun Village, Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province. Without saying anything, the old man simply got up, brushed off the dirt and then got on his bike and left. The security chief officer's wife happened to witness the whole thing. She shouted, "He must be a Falun Gong practitioner. Otherwise he would have asked for money from the car driver. Catch the old man quickly!" Such a story is really sad, as good people are arrested while bad people remain at large. Sadder is the fact that such a story is not uncommon in China.

I was shocked to discover that I have so many attachments. I even doubted that I had really been cultivating and elevating myself at all. I could distinctly sense that these bad thoughts were living substances. They played a negative role when I validated the Fa and caused interference and disturbance to myself and other practitioners. After studying the Fa with a calm heart, I patiently examined and scrutinised every attachment that I found and tried to find the root of it.

When my life was in a critical condition, I learned that Master Li was going to give a lecture in Dalian City. As our last hope, a family member carried me onto the train going to Dalian. It was truly a miracle -- as soon as the train started and left Jinzhou, I felt better and my appetite improved. On the second day, we arrived in Dalian and listened to Master Li's lecture. During the break in the lecture, Master Li purified our bodies and my fever disappeared immediately,

On the morning of February 18, the opening ceremony for the "Journey of Falun Dafa" photo exhibition and "Modern Chinese artists' authentic works exhibition" was held in the Lihua Cultural Centre, Tainan County.

"I am a government employee. I benefit from practicing Falun Gong. Today is my vacation day, so I came here to tell people the facts that they don't know on the mainland so they won't be deceived. These VCDs in my hands and flyers are all paid for by me for you to know Falun Gong."

In the scorching summer, people in Perth generally go to the beach or go shopping in downtown. Last Sunday, Falun Gong practitioners went to downtown to promote Falun Gong. They distributed flyers and other literature, and the local media covered their activities. As a result, more and more people have gotten to find out about Falun Gong and the persecution.
