The First Attaché expressed deep regret and said, “I cannot say why the French Government did this. Here, I express my deep regret to you. I will send your letter to the French President immediately, and I think all Falun Gong practitioners who were arrested in Paris should go to France and ask the French Government for a reason.”

"As a Falun Gong practitioner I was persecuted in a Chinese labour camp for nearly two years. Due to the diligent efforts of many kind-hearted people, human rights organisations and the Irish government, I was released in March 2002. I am lucky to have been rescued and freed. Today I am speaking here not on behalf of myself but on behalf of millions of Falun Gong practitioners who are being persecuted in China."

On Friday 6th February, they assembled outside the French Embassy in Oslo to distribute flyers, perform the Falun Gong exercises and deliver a letter to the embassy. A Norwegian practitioner was among those unjustly arrested in Paris, so she delivered a statement about her arrest. On the following day, the practitioners distributed flyers in front of Stortinget (the Parliament).

Due to torture, his health worsened. After he was released home, Fenghua authorities informed Yinchun City Government to take him back to Yinchun City to work when in fact he was being monitored there. While in Yinchun, Song's health deteriorated rapidly. Yinchun authorities then sent him back to Zhejiang. On the same day of his return (at the end of January 2000), he passed away.

On April 22, Zhang Youqing was issued a release warrant. Police officer Song Jianhua said, "No, you can't go home." He claimed he'd hold Zhang Youqing and his wife until they died in prison...Song Jianhua interrogated him when he was extremely weak and asked if he would continue to practise Dafa. Mr. Zhang Youqing firmly answered he would and said, "I got a release warrant and you still won't let me go. You are persecuting us Falun Gong practitioners!" Song Jianhua grew furious and beat Zhang Youqing until the practitioner's face turned white as a sheet and he couldn't stand up.

In order to resist the persecution, we all went on a hunger strike. As a result, six people held us down and force-fed us. They taped the process. Guo Shujun said, "We do not fear you all dying. Our superiors gave us a quota of 20 deaths. It is more than enough even if all of you die." ...Zhen Wenshan said, "Jiang Zemin has issued the order. He does not let us take a break, you cannot take a break either."

In order to make money, the drug rehabilitation centre asked Dafa practitioners to select production of either toothpicks or chopsticks. At 6:00 a.m., they had to get up and start work after washing. Other than having meals, they had to work continuously until 9:00 p.m. Sometimes they worked until midnight, and still needed to continue on the following day. Each day they only had five minutes for washing. During these five minutes, the police guards yelled, "Hurry up, hurry up!"

If we have capabilities but do not use them and do not actively develop our own latent capabilities, speaking seriously, it is like seeing someone in mortal danger and not lifting a finger to save them. Moreover, it is irresponsible to one’s own cultivation. If the time for you to develop your capabilities presents itself but you do not do it, a lot of precious cultivation opportunities may be lost and many sentient beings that have placed their hopes in you may not be savable.

On the afternoon of February 5, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners in Montreal, Canada held a press conference in Chongshan Park in Chinatown to inform the media and local Chinese community of the verdict issued by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice against Pan Xinchun, a Deputy Chinese Consul in Toronto.

In the U.S., parades in major cities and small towns that Falun Gong practitioners participated in numbered about 100 each year. During these parades, practitioners' elegant and peaceful performance, their banners and truth-clarifying materials, all directly exposed and cleared away lies fabricated by the Jiang's regime.
