'Hair product giant Henan Rebecca Inc. is in cahoots with notorious Chinese labour camps that are buying Falun Gong practitioners as slave labour, sources in China say. Labour camps such as Shibalihe and Xuchang buy these people for 800 RMB each (almost $100 US), force them to work day and night, and torture them to death as part of the “reeducation” program.'

After listening to the truth about practitioners peacefully resisting four years of brutal persecution, the delegate from the Kenyan Embassy in Sweden said, “I admire your spirit of ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.’ You have brought hope of world peace. I am very glad to have this opportunity to participate in this meeting and to know Falun Gong practitioners.”

"As you may be well aware of by now the French authorities displayed a very discriminating and harsh stance towards Falun Gong practitioners in regard to the French Association of Falun Gong’s participation in the New Year parade. However, the discrimination against us was not limited to the exclusion from the festivities; much more serious than that was the implemented policy of eliminating the physical presence of Falun Gong practitioners in areas visited by the Chinese authorities."

On January 27th 2004, French national television station TV 5 reported on a Falun Gong appeal held in front of the French National Assembly, while Chinese president was giving a speech to half of the country’s MPs, as the others had boycotted him. The journalists emphasised the severity of the persecution against Falun Gong in China.

Yesterday, a male police officer at Tongxiang Street Police Station (86-451-82681181) said Ms. Jin Guanghua died of myocarditis [a kind of heart problem] and whole body-system failure. The officer also said, "she died in the hospital after only one night of emergency treatment." The police refused to reveal whether Jin Guanghua was detained before her death or who sent her to the hospital. "I cannot tell you that," the police officer said.

In October 1999, he was sent home for six weeks for being steadfast in his belief of Falun Gong. He was instructed that he "could not return to university if he were not willing to abandon his way of thinking."...At least one person was tortured to death, at least eighteen were sent to forced labour camps, many students and teaching staff were suspended, forced to leave school, detained and brainwashed, and many others were forced to leave home to avoid illegal arrest and further persecution.

I am a Falun Gong practitioner. Because I exposed crimes committed by Jiang Zemin's regime in their persecution of Falun Gong, I was sentenced to 18 months in jail and incarcerated at the Minxi Prison in Longyan, suffering many abuses that no kind-hearted person would think was bearable. At that prison, the authorities subjected me to torture which they called the "Three-All" treatment. I was also forced to perform hard labour at the prison's Plastic Factory

Therefore, practitioners not only have no personal freedom or freedom of speech, but they have also been deprived of the right to think like a normal person. The mental trauma suffered by the almost 100 unlawfully detained Dafa practitioners is enormous. After being released in April 2001, due to mental depression and physical injuries he received while in detention, practitioner Mr. Song Tingfang passed away due to the injustice suffered, at the age of only 47.

I enlightened that on the road of cultivation, if I only care about personal consummation, I will always worry about whether I can hang on, and whether I will fall. As a result, my energy will be gradually consumed. However, if on the path of Fa-rectification cultivation we cultivate for others and for all sentient beings, we may find that we have more strength than we think! Not only can we pull others up on the way, but we can also help ourselves to reach the destination!

At 11 am on September 16, 2003, workers from the Chinese Consulate seized four Falun Gong truth clarifying posters. The Falun Dafa Association of South Korea views this as a criminal activity that infringes on South Korea's sovereignty. Therefore, on the evening of September 25, two of the victims filed charges that include robbery, property damage, and instigation of business interference, against Chinese Ambassador Li Bin and Consul-General Zhang Xing. At the same time, the thieves were also included in this charge as major offenders.

On February 2, about forty Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in front of the French Consulate and also delivered an open letter from Falun Dafa Association in New York to French Consul Richard Duqué. The letter expressed their concern with the arrest of Falun Gong practitioners by French policemen.

On January 27, dozens of Falun Gong practitioners from Sydney and Canberra gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy to hold a press conference in memory of fellow Falun Gong practitioners Tang Meijun, Meng Xiao, and others who were recently tortured to death in China. In the summer heat, practitioners held up large banners that read "Stop Killing Falun Gong," "Punish Prime Criminal Jiang Zemin" and "896 Falun Gong Practitioners Died As a Result of Persecution."
