Falun Gong is the introductory book to the practice and principles of Falun Gong. Already available in many languages, the translation of Falun Gong into Slovak is a wonderful new opportunity for great numbers of people to learn about Falun Gong for the first time.

According to a report on January the 23rd by Radio Free Asia, about five hundred Falun Gong practitioners from various countries in Europe participated in the parade through Paris to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year, which attracted a lot of tourists and French citizens.Dressed in traditional Chinese costumes, they performed a fan dance, drum dance, and danced wearing dragon masks, as the parade marched from Piazza di Repubblica to the Bastille.

Mr. Zhang Jianping said, “The Paris city authority organised a Chinese New Year parade for Chinese residents on Avenue des Champs Elysees. It is a public and Chinese-culture-related activity. Falun Gong is a group legally registered in France and has the right to participate. We then made an application. However, the application was illegally interfered with by the Chinese Embassy. There only excuse was illegal suppression by the Chinese government"

The press conference was originally to be held for an hour, however it lasted beyond this as there were two Falun Gong practitioners who were directly persecuted in China and gave their testimony on the spot. One was Dai Zhizhen, whose husband was persecuted to death because he said “Falun Dafa is good.” The other Falun Gong practitioner, whose husband worked in the Chinese Embassy in France, was locked up and experienced various cruel torture and brainwashing for more than a year when she went back to her hometown to tell people about how China persecutes Falun Gong. Both were interviewed because the reporters were interested in their stories.

Mr. Wang Defeng, 37 years old, was a resident of Handian Town, Heilongjiang Province. In 1996, he started to practice Falun Gong. On a summer night in 2001, police from Handian Police Station and the "610 Office"* broke into Wang's home and took him away while he was sleeping, not even allowing him to put on his coat. Wang was jailed and tortured in the Shuangcheng City Detention Center. He was not released until he was near death. Mr. Wang passed away on June 30, 2002.

69-year-old Zeng Lingwen is a retired professor from the Physics Department of Jilin University. Because she persisted in cultivating Dafa, she was abducted from home on Feb 9, 2002 [ date provided by Zeng Lingwen’s daughter in Canada and sent to a brainwashing class, where she was tortured as they attempted to force her to give up her practice. With her righteous belief, she was not moved at all. Authorities sent her to Changchun Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp for two years'' forced labour.

In October 2003, the Xinye County Court in Henan Province sentenced 10 Dafa practitioners to between one and nine years in prison. The court did not even notify their families of the date and time of their loved ones' illegal trials. The ten practitioners protested to the court for putting them on trial for exercising their constitutional freedom of personal belief by exclaiming, "Falun Dafa is good!" Their righteous spirits caused the judge to close the trial in a panic. The ten practitioners are still detained in Xinye County Detention Centre.

Dr. Wang Xiaodong is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Daqing City and a surgeon at the County Chinese Medical Hospital. Before he practiced Falun Gong, Dr. Wang suffered from chronic tuberculosis and hepatitis B. Dr. Wang's health quickly returned to normal after he started to practice Falun Gong in October 1998. Since then, he has conducted himself strictly according to the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance." Always thinking of others before himself, he was admired by his colleagues.

"Today we come her to commemorate Ms. Tang Junmei, another Falun Gong practitioner who has been persecuted to death in China. While Chinese are celebrating the Chinese new year, we feel very sad about her death."

After three and a half years of unlawful imprisonment, on January 20, Mr. Zhili He was released from Qianjin Prison, in Tianjin. After talking with his wife in Canada over the phone, he has been returned to his hometown in Gansu Province.

The opening ceremony of the annual Chinese Industry and Commerce Exhibition was held in East Los Angeles on January 17, 2004. Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the 5 sets of Falun Gong exercises in front of a booth in the exhibition hall, distributed truth-clarification materials, and promoted Dafa books.

This piece is a result of collaboration by two practitioners. The name of their group was inspired by a recent trip to North America. “Justice for the World” has been created especially to expose and eradicate the genocide that has reached millions of practitioners around the world, as well as the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
