Practitioners would like to extend their sincere appreciation to all those who have helped during the rescue activities for Xiong Wei. Without this help, practitioners could not have attracted the attention of the media and politicians to Xiong Wei’s situation. It is a pity that practitioners have no information about her current situation and environment. It is worrying that Xiong Wei and her parents are still under surveillance by the police.

One German practitioner described the responses he received after he telling people that Xiong Wei had been released. “After hearing the news of Xiong Wei’s release, I went to several stores where I put the “Free Xiong Wei” postcards and told them the good news. I express my appreciation to them by giving the workers Dafa postcards with pictures of Lilies on them.

On Sunday the 18th of January 2004, Falun Gong practitioners held a display of the 5 sets of Falun Gong exercises outside Hove Town Hall in East Sussex. The local Chinese Association was hosting an Educational and Cultural event at Hove Town Hall. This was part of the celebrations for the Chinese New Year and many Chinese people were there to help set up the event for many local Chinese people and businesses who were invited. All received flyers, Video-CDs and newsletters and some students sat by the practitioners who were meditating to have their pictures taken by their friends.

Ma Xujun has been at the edge of his life many times, but the Jiamusi City Police Department refused to release him. After family members' many attempts to secure his release and under pressure from the strong protest and condemnation of many people seeking justice, on the night of December 26, 2003, the Jiamusi City Police Department sent Ma Xuejun home on a stretcher, put him down, and left, shirking the responsibility for his condition. At that time, Mr. Ma had become unable to move or speak. The long-term hunger strike made him like a skeleton.

Because her husband, Deputy Secretary of a certain county in Baise City, refused to give up his belief in Falun Dafa, the police forced Mrs. Luo to have her baby aborted at the hospital in retaliation. Both husband and wife were then illegally sentenced to terms in a forced labour camp. Immediately after the abortion, even though her body was extremely weak and still bleeding, Mrs. Luo was taken to the Guangxi Women's Forced Labour Camp.

The prison guards kept telling her family members how Ms. Hu was "against the government" and how well the forced labour camp treated her by giving her injections of albumin and spending more than ten thousand Yuan on her in medical expenses, and so forth. At that time, Ms. Hu Yuehui could not remember anything at all, but only could say "It is not wrong to practise (Falun Gong) exercises!" Her family members thought what the guards said was true. As soon as her family members left, the guards placed her in a storage room in the hall where nobody could see her.

On January 16, 2001, authorities from Tongliang County held a so-called "public trial" of the five practitioners. Using a method to publically demonise the practitioners that was popular during the Cultural Revolution, the authorities hung a plaque with the words "Falun Gong elements" around each practitioner's neck and paraded them through the streets in order to incite hatred against them.

If there are special agents around us or some fellow practitioner is suspected of being a special agent, we should all look inward to see whether it is due to our own field not being benevolent enough, not peaceful enough, not righteous enough, or not harmonious enough. If this is the case, we should strengthen our Fa study, continue to send forth righteous thoughts, and communicate more with fellow practitioners to form a firm and solid body.

Taiwan's President Chen Shui-bian, vice-president Lu Hsiu-lien, Lien Chan, presidential candidate of the Nationalist Party and Ma Ying-jeou, the mayor of Taipei City, all sent congratulatory letters to wish the Taiwan Falun Dafa experience sharing conference a complete success. Huang Chu-wen, the President of Taiwan's Joint Party delivered a speech at the conference.

Mr. Dongni Dai, the chairman of the Australian-Chinese Cultural and Art Association who is also a Falun Gong practitioner hosted the exhibition. He hoped to introduce the essence of Chinese traditional culture to Australians and to use the opportunity to call on the government and people from all walks of life to pay closer attention to Jiang regime's persecution against Falun Gong.
