During the World Information Summit, an ICT Development Forum was held in Geneva between the 9th and 13th of December. The Swiss Falun Dafa Association also had an opportunity to set up a Falun Gong information stand during the Forum to expose Jiang’s persecution and his manipulation and exploitation of the media to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in China and frame them overseas. Many visitors were not aware of the deceitful propaganda of Jiang's regime and were shocked to learn the facts.

On December the 30th 2003, Swedish Falun Gong practitioners sat in meditation in front of both the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm and the Chinese consulate in Gothenburg to mourn the death of Liu Chengjun, who was tortured to death by the Jiang regime. Practitioners also wanted to appeal to bring Jiang and the vicious policemen responsible for the death of Liu Chengjun to justice.

'Agence France-Presse quoted a statement made by the Falun Gong Information Centre in New York revealing that this person’s name is Liu Chengjun and he had been sentenced to 19 years in jail because of his involvement in broadcasting Falun Gong videos on cable TV in March 2001. He died in a hospital in Changchun city, China. According to the statement, Liu was brutally beaten and tortured repeatedly in jail. People who saw Liu before his death said that he appeared to be very weak. He could hardly be recognised because of the relentless torture.'

On January the 3rd, Dutch practitioners mourned for Liu Chengjun at the Chinese embassy in The Hague. They protested against the Jiang regime’s persecution of Falun Gong and demanded the instigators be punished. They called for the public’s concern regarding nearly one hundred Falun Gong practitioners imprisoned together with Liu Chengjun in Jilin, to prevent this tragedy from recurring.

Many schools in Finland have contacted Falun Gong practitioners and asked them to come to talk about Falun Gong. Reactions from teachers and students have always been good and the teachers have asked practitioners to come again on many occasions. A teacher from one school in the county of Kirkkonummi asked a practitioner to come and tell the students in two classes about the practice of Falun Gong.

Liu Chengjun, a 32-year-old man from Nongan County, Jilin Province, was one of the people in Changchun and Songyuan who broadcast programmes over China's state-run airwaves exposing the systematic cover-up of atrocities against Falun Gong practitioners arrested for tapping into cable TV networks, for which he was arrested. He was sentenced to 19 years in Jilin Prison. Liu was severely tortured in the prison and died at 4:30 in the morning of December 26, 2003.

While in detention, Liao was monitored around the clock. Every month she was forced to turn in 300 yuan in the name of so-called "food expenses," another 300 yuan in the name of an "administration fee" and "utility fee." Moreover, she had to pay 900 yuan to cover the so-called "room and board" for those who monitored her. With a small pension of 800 yuan per month, Liao was under tremendous financial burden.

New inside information reveals that Mr. Lu was sent to Daqing City People's Hospital on October 20th and died on October 21st. Mr. Lu's eyes were dilated and he was in a deep coma upon admission to the hospital. His ECG showed severe arrhythmia. Mr. Lu's legs were swollen with two blisters on the right coax joint and another on the sole of his foot. This is consistent with the intial report which stated that Mr. Lu was confined to an iron chair and electrically shocked at the forced labor camp.

At Xidayingzi Beishan, Chaoyang City, there was a new building constructed at a cost of 3.7 million Yuan called the "Comprehensive Education and Reform Building," which is actually a brainwashing centre where the labour camp chiefs Yu Wanchi, JinYucheng, Cheng Hetian (assistant), and special division chief Qi Yongshun commit countless crimes....On October 22 and 23, 2003, police along with four prisoners took turns torturing and shocking practitioners with the excuse that they needed to "test the effectiveness of the new electric batons."

The foundation of the The Committee for an International Special Tribunal on the Persecution of Falun Gong was announced on January 5th 2004, their mission statement, "To unite the wisdom, expertise, and moral strength of the judicial and international community, as well as of the good people of courage and conviction inside China, to promote the establishment of an International Special Tribunal on the Persecution of Falun Gong as an institute of fair justice against the ongoing atrocities."

Two Falun Dafa practitioners held a weeklong activity in Tunisia, Africa to introduce Falun Dafa. They received much interest from their activities and clarified the truth and taught the exercises to the public and media outlets.

The courses offered in the school include reading, arts, history and human culture, music, science and preservation of health. They will educate students in a free and healthy environment, and help them to develop a noble character. The course also includes simple and effective Falun Gong exercises to increase students' wisdom and strength, and to have a peaceful state of mind. Minghui School provide a pure environment for students to purify themselves after receiving their daily compulsory education.

The metro Philadelphia area Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference at noon on January 4 2003 in front of the "Liberty Bell" (which represents America's spirit of freedom) to commemorate Changchun practitioner Liu Chengjun who was tortured to death by Jiang Zemin's regime.

During the reign of Emperor Wu in the Han Dynasty (206 B.C.–23 AD), the Crown Prince of that time was framed by his enemies and executed for planning to overthrow the Emperor. At the time of his execution the Crown Prince had a grandson who was only a few months old. Due to this tragedy the baby boy lost his entire family as they too were executed along with the Crown Prince.
