Over the past five years, practitioners have handed out tens of thousands of copies of Dafa materials. Practitioners have also talked with thousands of passersby. The lawsuits filed against Jiang worldwide and the ongoing efforts to bring Jiang to justice in people's hearts, and in a court of law have also been emphasised and brought to people's attention.

Upon returning to China after living in Germany, Xiong Wei was arrested in Beijing on the 5th of January 2002 while distributing materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. December the 8th is Xiong Wei’s birthday and because of this, Falun Gong practitioners in Hamburg went to the Chinese consulate to appeal for her release and to send righteous thoughts.

We sincerely hope all compassionate people will stand up and oppose all forms of persecution of Falun Gong, and support Falun Gong practitioners' right to participate in a Chinese cultural event. We would like to meet with Chinese Embassy staff to discuss this situation, and would like to talk with municipal authorities who may have been deceived by the Embassy's defamation.

The internationally active investment firm Helvetica Invest AG, which is located in Switzerland, removed Volkswagen from its stock option list, once it became known that Volkswagen had actively participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Over the Christmas holidays, a few practitioners from Scandinavia travelled to Athens in Greece to help the Falun Gong practitioners there introduce Falun Dafa to the locals. Many people stopped to watch the demonstration and took flyers as well as learned more about Falun Gong. People also learned more about the persecution taking place in China.

I remember one day, Li Jirong, the head of a division who was elected as a representative to the 16th Party Congress due to her "achievements" in persecuting Falun Gong, told me, "Don't think this is just a labour camp. Our labour camp also has a death quota! Don't forget that you are still a Chinese citizen, so you still have to follow the laws of China. You are no different from anyone else."

They tormented her with lewd remarks while groping and touching her private areas. At one point they even abused her by sliding a bullet across her chest. More than 20 policemen took turns in torturing and molesting Ms. Wang in this manner for five full days and nights before they threw her into the detention centre. the police escort, realising how shocking the torture had been, said, "You'd better tell them that you injured yourself by jumping out of a building!"

Although they have the finances in hand, they still force Falun Gong practitioners' workplaces to pay anywhere from one to two thousand yuan [500 yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China]. The surplus funds go into the committee officials' own pockets as "bonuses." Once someone in the brainwashing classes yields, these officials demand that his or her employer hold all kinds of conferences for the purpose of getting credit from higher-level officials.

Jinzhou Labour Camp willfully extended the sentence of these firm Dafa practitioners, and has relentlessly tortured them: Shi Zhongyan, a worker from the Jinzhou Supermarket, was to be released from the labour camp in 2000, but his term was extended again and again because he refused to renounce his belief in Falun Dafa. He died as a result of the persecution on April 26, 2003.

On December 28, the 2003 Singapore Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference concluded successfully. Organized by the Singapore Falun Dafa Association, this conference was attended by practitioners from Singapore, Canada, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan.

Every New Year's Eve Falun Gong practitioners in Japan come to the Chinese Embassy to peacefully call for the immediate end of the brutal persecution. On December 31, 2003, practitioners gathered again at the Chinese embassy to commemorate Changchun practitioner Liu Chengjun and all fellow practitioners who have died as a result of the Jiang regime's persecution.

Mr. White said: "It is the first time that we have judges to select winners among all groups participating the parade. Falun Gong is the first Chinese group to win an award. We have so many beautiful floats, bands and other groups. The fact that Falun Gong won first place says a lot about their outstanding performance. We were very pleased to have Falun Gong in our 2003 Harrisburg holiday parade. We hope that they will come every year in the future."
