Falun Gong practitioners had an opportunity to demonstrate the exercises live on stage with a voiceover providing more information about Falun Gong and the lawsuits filed against Jiang and his regime all over the world, the latest of which was launched in Spain yesterday. The local TV station came to the festival to film the practitioners’ exercise performance.

'The exhibition of Zhang Cuiying, an Australian artist of Chinese origin, should have opened at the MP’s café in Parliament. Invitations were sent out about 10 days ago. However, according to the organiser of the exhibition Ms. Kremena Krumova, it was not opened after personal interference from the Chinese ambassador...One of the initiators of this cultural event is an MP of the National Movement Simeon II, Mrs. Snezhina Chipeva.'

The police forced criminal inmates to torture practitioners on hunger strike. These criminals applied the so-called "hip splitting" torture which was a form of sexual torture. They would hang Dafa practitioners spread eagle by their four limbs, and then forcibly insert sticks into their vaginas, inject them with hot pepper oil and beat them severely. They poured boiling water on their bodies and limbs.

In the Township Police Station, Chen Jianning was severely beaten while his wife, Meifen, was released. Chen Jianning was taken to the County Public Security Bureau's Section of Security and Politics, where he was horrifically beaten to death on the spot. Afterwards, they pushed his body out the window to make it look like a suicide. He was beaten to death at 5pm, but the Village Chief was not notified until after 8pm.

The villains panicked, became afraid of being held responsible, and sent her to the Longnan Hospital in Daqing Petroleum Field. The doctor was angry on seeing her condition. The villains become silent when they heard that they'd have to pay money. Ms. Li said: "I have no money, my health was very good. You tortured me to this condition." One of the thugs said: "We have not had our lunch yet." After saying that, they looked at each other and ran away, leaving ailing Ms. Li Guangying behind.

On November 3, 2002, the eve of the "16th Party Congress," the No. 5 Team organized 13 brainwashing groups, with three Dafa practitioners in each. They then bought a pile of electric batons. At the time, the Gaoyang labour camp was full of the sounds of beating, cursing, and miserable cries from the practitioners. Terror overwhelmed the whole labour camp. Everyone had a heavy and depressed mood, and they all watched outside through a window trying to see where the cries came from. They saw where the sound came from, and they saw some practitioners being beaten to point that they lost consciousness.

Starting on the second day, we had to cross our arms in front of our stomachs and stare at our feet every day, 16 hours a day. At the same time we had to recite the labour camp's rules over and over again. I felt that this was an intolerable, personal insult. This indignation combined with extreme physical exhaustion, made me almost have a mental collapse.

Usually we think from the "me" perspective, on an I-would-like-to-do-this-or-that basis. Unconsciously, our priority becomes our own understanding, cultivation state and feelings. By following this pattern of thinking, we then mistakenly consider what we have done, based on our own wishes, as done according to the Dafa standard and requirement. In other words, this kind of thought pattern, albeit with good intention, would make us try to get what we want from the "me" perspective.

In March 1995, I luckily found out about Falun Dafa. It was a turning point in my life. At the beginning when I went to the exercise site, I couldn't even perform the first four exercises since I was extremely weak and the condition of my heart was very poor. After some time of working on the exercises, my body gradually felt relaxed and I could easily finish the standing exercises, which lasted for an hour. I felt like I was saved from the hell of pain and hopelessness! It was a miracle!

The most praised volunteer work of the school was making a balloon arch crossing the main street, which consisted of 500 red, blue, and white balloons. The balloon arch was very eye-catching and has become an essential decoration in recent years.

Lead by a Ribbon Dance group composed of practitioners and American friends, and a beautiful floral float on which a few practitioners peacefully demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises, Falun Gong float procession participated in the Troy City Festival Parade.
