'Many westerners have long been wondering why so many Chinese were involved in irrational and fanatic movements, like the Cultural Revolution for instance. The answer may be found in present day China by studying how people’s opinions about Falun Gong have been manipulated by Jiang Zemin´s regime.'

On June 28, 2001, a person whose last name is Qian came to the cell and said to me, "You are almost crippled for practising Falun Gong. We'll take you to a hospital to get some injections." I saw through their plot, so I exposed it. "Practising Falun Gong does not make me crippled. It is you who made me crippled from your beatings!" They shackled and handcuffed me and then forcibly dragged me into a vehicle.

In order to force Falun Gong practitioners to give up their beliefs, the demonic police of Group 1 in Jiutai Forced Labour Camp, Jilin Province, torment practitioners with wooden sticks, electric batons, straps, plastic tubes and other torture instruments. They have even used cigarette lighters and an electric iron to burn practitioner's feet, as well as subjected the entire group of practitioners to forcible "transformation."

Wang Wei was taken to an unknown area for interrogation. Gao Peng, with a group of 4 or 5 people, brutally tortured Wang Wei and detained him at the Tiebei Detention Centre. Later on, Changchun Forced Labour Education Committee illegally sentenced Wang Wei to a two-year forced labour term for "disturbing public security." They sent him to Weizigou Labour Camp of Changchun City. Wang Wei wanted to appeal and protest against the unfair judgments made and expose the brutal and evil actions of the Changchun City Police Department. However, Weizigou Labour Camp unreasonably turned down his request and confiscated his materials.

I am Chen Yingyi, a Canadian citizen living in British Columbia. Hereby I would like to appeal to all levels of the Canadian government, all media, and people from all walks of life, as well as human right organizations to help rescue my sister, a Falun Dafa practitioner, who is being persecuted in China.

Falun Gong practitioners in the San Francisco Bay Area participated in the 135th Italian Traditional Culture Festival Parade. They demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises on the float decorated with the Falun Dafa emblem. At the same time, a practitioner introduced Falun Dafa in English, Chinese and Cantonese to people lining the streets.

Currently, there is a sense that modern science will continue to advance indefinitely and will eventually discover a complete and consistent theory of the universe. However, as much as modern science has been making great advances, it has also been discovering its limitations. As others have also realized, some of the greatest discoveries of modern science are the discoveries of its own limitations.
