'The Federal Public Procurator does not deny the existence of genocide toward Falun Gong practitioners. This is typical genocide, which has been verified many times by human rights organisations and western governments in recent years. Falun Gong practitioners in Belgium will continue to protest and clarify the facts to people about the treatment of Falun Gong in China and throughout the world.'

During the two-day festival, practitioners had several opportunities to introduce Falun Gong on the main stage. Many members of the audience came to the Falun Dafa information booth. They praised the practitioners’ graceful performance and said that they had learned more about Falun Gong. Several people expressed an interest in learning the exercises.

'Falun Gong was banned in China by former president Jiang Zemin in 1999. Practising or spreading information about Falun Gong is forbidden...Numerous governments and human rights organisations from different countries have appealed to the Chinese government to end this persecution. Hundreds of people are known to have been killed. Thousands have been arrested and tortured.'

On January 19, 2001, my employers and the evil police of Chengdong Police Precinct continued to persecute me. When they could not find anything at my home and at my work place, they framed me. They put some Dafa truth-clarifying materials behind the document cabinet in the office, and with that as an excuse, they illegally sentenced me to forced labour for one and a half years without a trial. They also expelled me from the company.

After four days of surgery, Deng's condition stabilized, but she still couldn't move her limbs. After 46 days of treatment in the hospital and over 10,000 Yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 Yuan] spent, Deng was not improving. The hospital refused to give her further treatment as she owed six days of hospital bed fee. But the local "610 Office" and the detention centre refused to transfer her to another hospital.

The Linghai City Police Department has a notorious reputation for acting like bandits, because they often deceive and oppress their countrymen. Over the past four years, they have made relentless efforts to persecute Dafa practitioners: ransacking their homes, brutal beatings, huge fines (often in the amount of 20,000 Yuan - yet this is a poor area where it would take most families a whole lifetime to save 20-30,000 Yuan. They would have to serve a forced labour term if they failed to come up with the money.)

They used handcuffs and thumbcuffs to tie Jiang Sheng onto the metal bars of the window. Jiang Sheng's toes were barely touching the floor. He was taken down only for feeding or going to the toilet. Jiang Sheng's feet were swollen so much that he could not put on his shoes. Evil Deng, the political instructor, still claimed, "If you dare to practise again, I will torture you to death. After that, I will find some prisoners to say that you died from practising these exercises!"

The first time they tortured me by force-feeding was on July 18 2001. Every time they did this, a dozen people held me down on a bed and tied my hands and feet. In order not to let me see their faces and the tools they used, which had blood on them, they covered my whole body with a large piece of white cloth with a hole cut out around where my mouth was. They forced open my mouth with a steel opener used on horses and pried apart my teeth with steel pliers. They inserted a thick rubber tube more than two metres long into my mouth and then into my stomach. My mouth was filled with blood and my body was covered with bruises from being beaten.

The evil police frequently visited my home to threaten and intimidate my family. My teenage son could no longer practise Falun Dafa peacefully because of tremendous pressure from his school and society. His improved health gradually became worse day by day. Four months after the persecution of Falun Gong began he died....

As our float majestically went by the crowds of people, many clapped, some came out and patted practitioners on the back and told them to keep up the good work, others said that the world really did need Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance and many yelled out Falun Dafa is good. We were amazed by the extremely positive and supportive reaction to us.

Since its public introduction in May 1992, Falun Dafa has attracted over 100 million practitioners worldwide in just ten years. Falun Dafa cultivation emphasises that one should conduct oneself according to the principle of "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance". Regardless of gender and age, regardless of nationality and race, every practitioner who persistently cultivates his/her heart and practises the exercises has benefited tremendously. Constant diligent cultivation has brought significant changes to many practitioners in both physical conditions and moral values. At the same time, Falun Dafa is gaining worldwide understanding and appreciation, especially in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.

Some figures in Dunhuang murals appear unpolished and unclear in the background while others in the forefront are intensely detailed. The character’s bodies are vivid and accurate. Males are dressed in costumes with long strips and appear natural and fluid. Full figured females are extremely beautiful and elegant.
