The Hong Kong government has been concealing some important information in the Legislative Provision in order to deceive and mislead the Hong Kong people. In the Blue Bill submitted to the Legislative Council by the Hong Kong government for discussion, some policies suddenly appeared that were never mentioned in any draft proposed by the Hong Kong government in January or the public consultation documents in September; however, these policies will greatly affect many citizens and organisations.

One night at work I was listening to a radio program that was has an audience of approximately 500,000 listeners. During the program, the host announced that they would give listeners the chance to call in and talk about matters that concerned them. Immediately, I realised that this was a good opportunity to explain the facts of Falun Gong to the Swedish people.

In this country I've heard people complain about our justice system. [...] But, at least we have a Justice System. In China, anyone who is a practitioner of Falun Dafa, or is suspected of being a practitioner, can be picked up from home, work, the street, at any time, with no warrant, no reason, no trial and no evidence, and simply disappear.

"Charles Li has a fiancée in the US and friends who are longing very much for his release, as are all Falun Gong practitioners around the world. US consular officials are allowed only one 30-minute meeting with Charles Li per month. He may be under serious risk of being tortured and ill-treated just like hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners in China."

In order to arrest her, the local police attempted to force her husband Li Jianzhong, who worked in the same company, to tell them her whereabouts. Courageously Li refused, yet they punished him by sentencing him to two years in a forced labour camp. When he was released, the police continued to threaten him, saying that if Xiaohui got in touch with him, he had to report it to the police right away, or else he would be arrested again.

After learning that Lili went to Beijing to appeal, her older sister said with emotion, "Aren't people practising Falun Gong trying to become better people? Aren't people simply seeking justice when they appeal in Beijing? I hope she will succeed and come back soon." The fact that Lili was persecuted for her appeal made her family further realise the irrationality of Jiang's regime in persecuting Dafa practitioners.

They were going to complain about the local government's corruption and to get their money back. Before the train departed, someone reported them to the local government. It was too late for the government officials to stop them, so the government officials contacted the Xinxiang city police, saying there were hundreds of Falun Gong practitioners going to Beijing to appeal, and requested that they be stopped.

I do not practise Falun Dafa but my husband does. Consequently he was persecuted and sentenced to forced labour "education." In order to visit my husband, I was forced to say slanderous words against Dafa. I now hereby declare that all the bad things I said against Dafa are null and void. Falun Gong practitioners are all good people.

Owing to “selfishness”, we unconsciously have misgivings and worries because we have learned to protect our own interests. It comes from the narrow-mindedness and insignificancy of selfishness. We are naturally nervous and cautious when the mentality of fear emerges because this selfishness does not come with the broadness and open-mindedness of selflessness, let alone perfect calmness.

The town I live in is rather small and seldom are Chinese to be seen here. Yet one day all of a sudden, when we stand in the park and practise I see a thin and visible figure slowly walking towards our direction. It’s a young woman with an Asian look. I call her and ask if she is Chinese. To my surprise she answers, “Yes”.

From January 20 to 26, 2003, practitioners in Indiana held a "Journey of Falun Dafa". The photo exhibit once again brought the beauty of Dafa and introduced the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong in China to the locals.

"The Chinese government and authorities continue to ruthlessly suppress freedom of religion and freedom of association in China, including brutal treatment of Falun Gong adherents and their families...All persecution and harassment of the peaceful Falun Gong practitioners must end."
