Our activities often moved people's hearts. We walked from the bottom of the valley to the highest mountain to distribute Dafa newsletters. People were touched very much and expressed their thankfulness to us from the bottom of their hearts.

From December 5 2002 to February 1 2003, the main library in Oslo held a Falun Gong photo exhibition. The pictures detailed the spread of Falun Gong and showed the crimes against humanity that have occurred under Jiang Zemin’s in China.

In the September of 2000, I saw Wang Weiyu when I returned to China. At that time, he had been forced to leave school and become homeless. He told me his experience of visiting Tiananmen Square to appeal for Falun Gong and of being tortured in the police station. In August 2002, he was kidnapped in the company where he worked part time. To date, it is unknown where Weiyu is.

The official tried to force the couple to say where they got Falun Dafa materials. When they refused, he brutally twisted their arms behind their backs and then he punched and kicked them. As a result, their arms were hurt so badly that the couple could not work for several months. At last the thugs forced the practitioner's husband to pay 4,000 dollars for the release of his wife.

Everyday the Education Section forces Falun Gong practitioners to watch and listen to Dafa-slandering videos and audios. They even circulate fabricated articles allegedly written by Mr. Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Gong, in order to mislead practitioners. Practitioners who refused to give up their beliefs were punished physically and tortured with excruciating means.

She said to the officer, "You should arrest thieves and other people who violate the law. We Falun Gong practitioners cultivate 'Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance' and try to be good people. You should not arrest us." Whatever one's thought is at that moment can bring about different consequences. After hearing this, the security officer understood and released her.

Those thugs would use foul language to defame Teacher in order to incite me to talk, but I would not budge and thus avoided falling into their traps. My staunch belief and faith was the only thing that mattered now. Each time that I was clear-minded, I would clear away interferences, and recall and study the Fa like a baby sucking milk. I felt that the Fa was so profound, instilling in me boundless confidence and helping me to break through many interferences and attachments.

The practitioners utilised various ways including collecting signatures, making phone calls and sending faxes to appeal to the American government and officials to help rescue Charles Li. Local practitioners also held press conferences on two occasions

Five Chinese Falun Gong practitioners living in Japan who had applied for refugee status earlier were granted residency status a short while ago. They wrote a joint letter to the Honourable Mr. Mayumi Moriyama, Minister of Justice, to thank him for his action. Under normal circumstances, such status is extremely difficult to obtain.
