One Chinese person heard that people were handing out information about Falun Gong and then approached the practitioners asking for all the materials that they could offer. After listening to the practitioners discuss the contents of the Video-CDs, a lady said “I will seriously watch them right away, after I get home tonight.”

"Given the evidence we have presented to you, we believe that Wei Xiong is a prisoner of conscience who was arrested only [because she is a Falun Gong practitioner], and as it appears, has not received a fair trail. We are concerned for her well-being, and are afraid that she is subjected to severe torture that might claim her life."

A 60-year-old woman without the slightest bit of malice was deprived of her life just because she remained persistent in her belief and spoke the truth. Where is justice? People, please remember that there will indeed be a day when those who persecute Falun Dafa are punished by the heavenly principle that good is rewarded with good and evil is met with evil.

Police often pull practitioners out at midnight for this treatment. A pit is dug, the practitioner thrown into it, and then filled up to the practitioner's neck. Only the head remains unburied, sticking up above the soil. The heavy weight of the soil pressing down makes breathing very difficult. But the police do not stop there. They cover the practitioner's head with pieces of cloth so that passers-by cannot see that a human being is buried there.

Within a few days after I was taken there, I found that drug addicts in the camp were buying and selling drugs. When meeting with visitors, the addicts are separated from the visitors by a glass plate. They talk to each other via telephone, under strict control. How could they obtain those drugs? Some practitioners reported the drug pushers to the police, but the police prohibited the practitioners from speaking out. Why? The police were involved.

In the first detention centre of Qinhuangdao, insane police drove a nail into his thigh and tortured him in other ways... He was later transferred to the Gaoyang Forced Labour Camp, where police used three electric batons to hit him simultaneously and beat him with boards with nails in them, causing unimaginable pain. His body was full of scars, but he has steadfastly refused to renounce his belief in any shape or form.

I was in charge of capturing Falun Gong practitioners in their homes before I retired. I appeared to obey orders, but I was actually helping practitioners. Whenever I received an order from my superiors to ransack someone's home or make an arrest, I would secretly inform the Falun Gong practitioner before I actually went to their location with my staff. Purposefully, I would never find anything. I know that Falun Gong is good and I wanted to help them."

He told the woman, "Right after you walked in, I thought you might be a Falun Gong practitioner. Otherwise, how could such an elderly person appear to be so young? Later, I realised I was indeed right. There must be some good points about Falun Gong. Otherwise, why can't Jiang suppress it no matter how hard he tries? Today, I have met you. Please tell me more about Falun Gong."

Daniel, who is in charge of Amnesty International Clark University Chapter, pointed out in his speech that in the United States, 37 Falun Gong practitioners' family members in China are currently suffering from inhuman persecution. In Massachusetts, four practitioners' family members are enduring persecution in China and practitioners are trying their best to rescue them.
