The Chinese people's responses were very good. In order to let the passers-by know the goal of the march more clearly, a gentleman shouted in Chinese and English as he marched on: "Article 23 jeopardises freedoms. Stop the enactment of Article 23...Call for equal human rights. Call for equality and freedoms." Passers by, many of them Chinese, patted his shoulders to show their respect and gratitude. Also, many Chinese people who drove by gave a thumbs up.

On January 30 2003 Mr. Bengt Hörnlund, a member of the Swedish Parliament announced January 30 as Falun Dafa Day in Lerum. This is the third Falun Dafa day so far in Sweden.

As they have done during the past three years, Falun Gong practitioners form Sweden and Norway promoted Falun Dafa and informed people about the Jiang regime’s persecution during the Nobel Peace Prize Festivities.

"The Chinese government’s policy towards Falun Gong is one of genocide - all means are being used to eradicate Falun Gong and its adherents. In March 2002, a direct order was given to ‘Kill them without mercy’. This is an extremely urgent matter."

'A group of angry activists tried to storm into Hong Kong government office headquarters on Tuesday to protest against proposed anti-subversion laws..."We are petitioning the government to stop legislating the law without proper consultation," said Leung Kwok-hung, who led the protest.'

They were tortured to the point of having a mental breakdown and were physically on the verge of death. The abuses they had to endure were extremely cruel. At the same time, they were forced to listen to lies slandering Falun Gong. The length of this torture method lasted anywhere from one week to over twenty days. They were not untied until they were disabled or on the verge of death.

Practitioners went on a hunger strike to appeal against this unethical and unfair treatment. As punishment, they were subjected to ever-crueller torture. The misguided and untrained police force-fed the practitioners through a tube using 60 percent alcohol in the form of rice wine. Many bled from the nose and the mouth during this torture. It was impossible to imagine what they were going through.

Huang Yonghui was sent to the hospital in May 2002. He had become extremely weak and moved very slowly. His face had a numb expression, which was very different from previous months, when he was always laughing and quick-witted. He has been diagnosed as a sick person and other prisoners around him reported that continued beatings have caused the deterioration in his health and damage to his spirit.

After her worried family demanded to see her, the detention centre agreed that Li's father could see her. Li Yanlin had been tortured so severely that she sadly suffered a mental collapse, and did not even recognise her own father. The heartless head of the detention centre told him that this took place on December 26, 2002. Li's father pleaded for her release on bail so that she could get treatment.

At the exercise site, many practitioners have noticed that some fellow practitioners sometimes showed “complaining” in their spoken language. I myself experienced this condition too. So, this is why I’d like to share my personal realization on this and talk about my understanding of such an attachment as “complaining”.

"Hard working","Soft Spoken","Compassionate" and "Sincere" Charles Li was illegally seized in Guangzhou Airport upon arriving in China for a visit. A friend of his who was truly moved by Charles words and actions asks government officials "Please do everything in your power to immediately rescue Charles and bring him home to safety in the United States."

The van belongs to a Falun Gong practitioner in Sydney. He drives this van everyday from where he lives to anywhere he needs to go. He also drives the van to deliver goods and to handle some other affairs. Wherever he drives, a small-scale Falun Dafa photo exhibit is displayed.

"It is important for SGA to put pressure on the government when necessary," said SGA President Chris Richardson. "Helping a fellow Atlanta resident reunite with his wife after such atrocities is simply the right thing to do."
