Just as I had finished preparing an album of paintings and truth-clarifying materials, the Premier came to visit us. He warmly greeted us and shook our hands. We also offered some materials to the Foreign Minister who accepted them and said that he has already heard of Falun Gong.

On the first day of the Chinese new year, practitioners from Norway and Sweden hosted a cultural event to show some of the rich Chinese culture to the people of Oslo. The performances were very beautiful and moving. During the singing and dancing, some of the onlookers even shed tears.

During their first time at the fair, some practitioners demonstrated the exercises; others handed out flyers explaining about the practice of Falun Dafa and Jiang regime’s persecution in China. People at the fair showed a lot of interest.

The Labour Camp authorities not only ignored the physical violence, but also encouraged such behaviour by rewarding the abusers. They handed out several thousand Yuan cash to the abusers for each "reformed" practitioner.

Dafa practitioners are used for slave labour, performing exhausting work with very little rest. The slavedriver guard from the 4th Division forced us to work for at least 13 to 14 hours a day, even on national holidays and weekends.

The labour camp hospital took an X-ray of He Yuanchao and found that his right arm had a compound fracture and required surgery, but the labour camp authorities denied him treatment, knowing full well that he faced a lifetime of disability if he were not treated. When he complained that his right arm hurt and could not function normally, the camp callously ignored the symptom, saying they saw nothing wrong.

His psyche became extremely fragile. The sound of a door closing or a touch on his shoulder could frighten him. Liu often curled up on the edge of his bed. To further torment Liu, the mean police would intentionally scare him by screaming at him or slapping his shoulder and yelling his name at the same time. Finally, Liu had a mental collapse. This is the saddest condition for a once healthy, intelligent and sane person.

After a while, Article 23 of the Basic Law in Hong Kong came up in our conversation. He said, "Don't believe the propaganda. They are trying to put the people of Hong Kong in bondage too."

While they were cutting up the banner, a dozen people stopped and watched them. Some of them applauded when they saw the young couple getting rid of this banner that slandered Falun Dafa.

Chinese users who went to dweb.blogspot.com were automatically redirected to a nonworking I.P. address. The address formerly belonged to http://falundafa.ca, the site of a Canadian-registered organization that promotes Falun Gong, a spiritual movement that the Chinese government has labeled a threat to national security. Since the Canadian Falun Gong site is blocked in China, DynaWeb speculated that the redirecting was being done to discredit Falun Gong by making unsuspecting users think that Falun Gong had hijacked the sites being redirected.

New laws are to be introduced that threaten to radically change the way of life in Hong Kong, the way business is done and the protection of personal liberties. The government is proposing to widen its powers to act in cases of treason, secession, subversion and sedition, including theft of state secrets.

One middle aged western lady was attracted by the beautiful bookmarks. She picked up one that had the words "Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance" printed on it and said excitedly, "This is really good! This is the principle that all of us shall follow in our lives."

The main purpose of the party was to express their gratitude to friends in Northern California who have been showing their support and concerns for Falun Gong practitioners.
