UK Falun Dafa practitioners performed at a Chinese Students' New Year celebration party. The number of people attending was estimated to be in the region of 600...After the event, many people took VCDs and other material revealing the truth about the Jiang regime's persecution of practitioners in China.

'Tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have been arrested. Several dozen have been convicted and imprisoned after unfair trials. Thousands have been assigned, without any judicial process, to 're-education through labour'. And several hundred may have died as a result of torture.'

Even though Lin Chengtao barely survived the inhuman physical punishment and torture, the police continued to spare no effort to torture him mentally… They publicised a letter that his wife wrote from Tiantanghe Women's Labour Camp. After she was brainwashed, his wife actually suggested that the police in the Second Brigade torture Lin Chengtao with the same methods that the Tiantanghe Labour Camp used to violently "transform" her, such as shocking with electric batons, sleep deprivation, etc. Mr. Lin was deeply injured by this.

The cold-hearted police injected her with an unknown drug that quickly caused her whole body to become paralysed. Nobody was on hand to nurse her. In the first days of these injections her lower body started to fester. After seven or eight days of these injections, she looked like she was dying, only then was she was taken home. Now she is paralysed, lying in bed and cannot recognise anyone.

Five or six policemen roughly pulled me off my bed and dragged me outside. I was wearing just underpants and did not have shoes on. I struggled and shouted out. My child was crying for her father, and my wife was desperately trying to stop them also. The policemen forcibly stuffed me into their vehicle. In the process, my head sustained a two-inch cut and my face was covered with blood. Not only did this practitioner and his family suffer, being violently wrenched from home, he was robbed of his livelihood and plunged into poverty.

An inmate said, "I have been in this jail for almost 10 years, and this was my first time that I ever witnessed such miserable things. This is just horrible." One time. a policeman used an electric baton on a practitioner, all the while saying, "Feel free to sue me. It wasn't me who hurt you, it was the electricity!" Time and time again the guards' words and actions have shown how much they want to make the practitioners suffer in retaliation for exposing their brutality to the outside world.

I have found a cultivation way superior to what I had learned from before. Whoever practises Falun Gong feels peaceful, relaxed and can always treat others kindly. They open their minds and are in complete control of their lives. To me, this is the magic of Falun Gong. It is said that the great way is extremely simple and easy. That is what I understand Falun Gong to be!

Falun Gong practitioners, Friends of Falun Gong, family members of practitioners who are suffering the persecution in China as well as others held a press conference in front of the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco to expose the Jiang regime's ruthless killing of Falun Gong practitioners and to call on the public to work together to stop the brutal persecution.

The 2003 Singapore Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference was held on January 11, 2003. Creating a solemn atmosphere, practitioners from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and US attended this grand conference.

In March of 2002, I made my first visit to England. But as I walked on the streets of London, everything felt so familiar to me. I was overwhelmed by an unexplainable and yet intense emotion. It made me think about one’s previous lives and also one's current life.

I said, "You are the police and you should know the law. It should not count if you cannot show me the law. Jiang does not represent the law and he is putting himself above the law. The persecution of Falun Gong violates the 36th and the 41st articles of the constitution: namely, a citizen has the freedom of belief, and the right to legally appeal to the appeals offices."

Recently I chatted with the 78-year-old father of my landlord. The gentleman said, "I spend most of the day watching TV. The more I watch it, the more confused I get. The TV says that Falun Gong is bad, but they are never able to tell any real facts about why Falun Gong is bad." I said those reports are 100% false.

We are anxious to have them accept that Falun Dafa is good. However haste will solve nothing. We should let them feel we are truly families. Through cultivation we have become magnanimous, open-minded, and more concerned about others. When they accept us, naturally they also accept our choices. Harmonizing the Fa on the level of everyday society is our responsibility
