Starting on January 12, 2003, Falun Gong practitioners held a three-day global peaceful appeal and candlelight vigil to expose the Jiang regime's ruthless persecution of Falun Gong and to demand an immediate end to the killing. During the dates of the 12 January to the 14 January, Falun Gong practitioners in Ireland held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Embassy in Dublin. They called for an end to the killing of Falun Gong practitioners in China

On January 13 and 14, 2003, Falun Gong practitioners from southern Germany and northern Austria held a two-day peaceful appeal and candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Consulate..Although a cold wind blew hard and it snowed heavily, practitioners' powerful righteous thoughts were not moved at all.

On January 11 2003, Western and Chinese practitioners gathered outside the Chinese Embassy. On January 12 and 13, more practitioners joined their peaceful protest and strongly appealed the Chinese authorities' brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

Practitioners have been regularly appealing in front of the consulate for a long time and many people working in nearby shops have become friends with them. When they learned that at least 43 Falun Gong practitioners have lost their lives since November due to the persecution, they were shocked and said that they simply could not understand why the Jiang regime is treating ordinary Chinese people with such brutality. They were deeply moved by the peaceful appeals of Falun Gong practitioners in the cold weather.

"I had been paralyzed in bed for many years. Since I started to practise Dafa I could move around, write and do other light tasks with ease. With some assistance, I can even get myself down onto the ground. This is something I was unable to do before." Ignoring what he said, the officer from Dalian replied, "We are not going to let you recover either."

The sight of his body was horrifying: his entire body was covered with bruises and wounds...According to a legal medical expert's assessment, Shi Hongjie's ribs were also broken and his lungs had been punctured by the broken ribs.

A once healthy, strong-minded woman, who became a good and kind person through the practice of Falun Dafa, has been reduced to a vegetable state through senseless and horrible torture in the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. Atrocities like this are innumerable at the labour camp. This is just one example of many.

If we didn't give in to their demands, the police would force us to stand, squat or run in the sun for long periods of time even when the temperature rose above 25 Celsius, and not allow us to drink water or go to the toilet. They would also forbid us from speaking to each other.

"Though the activity will be conducted for three days, our appeals will not stop and are not a temporary action. We have been bringing attention to this situation for over 3 years now, but recently, the persecution is escalating, and the number of Falun gong practitioners who have been tortured to death is rapidly increasing."

The practitioners called on the international community and China to pay attention to the persecution and initiate a serious investigation of the recent death cases. Jiang is the culprit who initiated and drove the campaign to persecute Falun Gong and is being charged with genocide in US Federal District Court.

What we can see now is that Jiang's regime has resorted to killing practitioners in an attempt to reach its aims. The international community must not tolerate these rampant killings.

When one of the emperors in the Han Dynasty, Liu Che, was hunting one day, he came across an old man in a field on the side of a road. There was white light, several metres long around the old mans head. He looked just over fifty years old, with a face that shone like a young mans. At a glance, one could tell that he was extra-ordinary.

Wen was arrested and sent to detention centres and prisons so many times that it seemed he did not care about anything anymore. However, I noticed he was changing. Sometimes other inmates took advantage of him, yet he endured quietly. I strongly felt that laws could not change a person...

I am practitioner of Falun Dafa. What I did was meant to tell society: In this world filled with lies, wickedness and violence, Dafa practitioners, still have high moral standards for their conduct.

About a year ago I almost exclusively used my car to get to work, a drive of approximately 15 minutes. Using public transport would take one hour. Every time my wife had need of the car, I used the train. Since my working schedules varied, I discovered that at certain times, ever more Chinese students were travelling by train. A good opportunity, I thought, for me to tell them about Falun Dafa and explain the truth about the persecution to them.

I started to complain about however good I was at home, my husband would not be satisfied. He especially did not have a right understanding of Dafa. As I incessantly gave examples, I realised my lack of compassion towards my husband. In fact, everything I did for him was hidden behind a selfish heart.
