On January 13 2003, Falun Gong practitioners in France gathered outside of the Chinese embassy in Paris to appeal to the Jiang regime to end the brutal killing of Falun Gong practitioners.

This appeal was to commemorate the 43 practitioners in China whose deaths from torture have been recently reported and to protest the killing of Dafa practitioners by the Jiang/Luo regime.

The practitioners, with compassionate hearts in bad weather conditions, patiently revealed the truth about Falun Dafa. They appealed to the public to help stop the killing of practitioners in China under the command of Chinese tyrant Jiang Zemin and his partner-in-crime Luo Gan.

On January 13, 2003, Falun Dafa practitioners from the western part of Germany, despite the cold and heavy snow, gathered outside the Chinese Consulate in Bonn to protest the Jiang regime's killing of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

The Asian section of the French International Broadcasting Station broadcast a report about the filing of a lawsuit in the USA, which enables Falun Dafa practitioners to bring the charges of human rights abuses and genocide against Jiang Zemin.

Policemen started a frenzied campaign to torture Dafa practitioners relentlessly..He used several electric batons to shock Dafa practitioners' necks, causing large purple blisters to form there. It was so horrible that people could not even bear to look at it.

Policeman Li said to me once, "I want you to be reformed. If you refuse, I will use all sorts of means to torture you. As long as you're not dead, you will be miserable. I will make you both physically and mentally disabled, until you totally collapse."

In October, a Fushun City Central Hospital medical examination concluded that he was "incapable of and unsuitable for prison." The detention centre sent the medical examination results to the Shuncheng District Court and to the District Political and Legislation Committee. Both authorities refused to follow the law.

The guards handcuff or rope the practitioner's wrists to a heating pipe in a manner that forces the practitioner to hold a position where they can neither stand nor sit down. High-voltage electric batons are then used to shock the practitioners. If these savage torture means don't convince the practitioners to sign a statement agreeing to stop practising Dafa, the practitioners are sent to the Dabei Prison. The Masanjia Forced Labour Camp is now permeated with this atmosphere of terror.

On January 12, 2003, in phase with practitioners all over the world, practitioners went to the New York Chinese Consulate to hold a peaceful appeal. Despite the chilling cold they remained unmoved and appealled against Jiang's regime's escalating ruthless persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and exposed to the public the urgent situation of the rapid increase in the death toll since November.

Since November 2002, the Falun Dafa Information Centre has received individual reports of 43 Falun Gong practitioners being beaten and tortured to death by authorities in China...Sydney Falun Gong practitioners held a candlelight vigil on January 12, 2003, in front of the Chinese Embassy, calling for an end to the killing.

When I arrived at Tiananmen Square, two policemen stopped me and demanded that I curse someone on the spot. One of them said, "If you will not curse people, then you must be a Falun Gong practitioner and I will arrest you." I told him, seriously, "You want to arrest me for not cursing against people? That would be against the law."

In the past, patients would feel grateful to the doctors who had cured them. They often brought something with them as a token of respect when they came to visit, just like they did when they visited their relatives. Even a bandit would do so, not to mention normal people.

A real example of “one’s practice benefits the entire family” reflected in actual life is that those in my family who are not practitioners seldom become sick, and I have gradually become used to this. However when I thought more about this, I realized this attitude is incorrect; I then thought that this is an opportunity given me to validate Dafa.
