Swiss Falun Gong practitioners initiated a 3-day appeal to stop the inhuman persecution of Falun Gong by the Jiang regime. This appeal is part of a worldwide effort by practitioners to end the Jiang regime’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China.

On January 12th, Dafa practitioners from Stockholm, Sweden, began a 3-day appeal in front of the Chinese Embassy. Practitioners planned to hold a press conference on January 14 at 11 a.m., to expose the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Jiang regime, and to urgently call on China to stop killing innocent Falun Gong practitioners.

On the evening of January 13, 2003, Falun Gong practitioners in Russia held a candle lit vigil in front of the Chinese Embassy and called for an end to the Jiang Zemin regime's brutal killing of Falun Gong practitioners.

She sent letters suggesting that the leaders in Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp adopt the methods used in the Women's Labour Camp, including electric shock, physical punishment, psychological abuse and sleep deprivation, to force Lin to give up his belief. This shows how vicious and inhumane those brainwashing sessions are, that they could make a person who used to strive to be compassionate into someone who would persecute her own husband.

Here, I want to tell my nightmare of an ordeal after being detained for more than one year, from which I am lucky to get out alive, in order to expose the crimes of the authorities at the camp...The police brutally beat and shocked me, without compunction, with electric batons because I refused to wear a prisoner's uniform.

He was tortured severely and mercilessly; covered with cuts and bruises and he was bleeding everywhere. One of his legs was broken from the beating and he was barely breathing. When he was carried to a detention centre, the police and the cell supervisor did not dare to accept him, for fear that he would die in their jurisdiction.

As a result of the physical punishment and sheer exhaustion, he passed out and fell on the floor of the team office. After waking, the malicious police slandered him saying that he had been "attacking the police and not obeying the management," and handcuffed him to a radiator pipe to shock him with electricity. Yu Ming would not yield or co-operate, and the police dislocated his arm.

Reporter: Tell us a little bit about this lawsuit; what's the goal you want to achieve through this lawsuit?

Marsh: The goal of the lawsuit is to stop the persecution in China and to use the legal system in the United States to alert the world to the holocaust that is occurring at this point in China, so as to mobilize more people to help us stop the persecution through means other than legal action as well.

It seems that everyone is different, the appearance, the character, and all, but one thing that is common about Mexicans: they are really, truly good hearted people.

"Authorities openly control Internet and media content in China to protect the Communist Party's unchallenged position, firmly in place since 1949. Internet police, who number nearly 40,000 in Beijing alone, block several foreign news sites and often force Chinese Web pages to delete content judged objectionable."

"Following rare criticism from Beijing, Taipei mayor Ma Ying-jeou has defended his support for the Falun Gong spiritual movement in its fight for legitimacy on the mainland. Mr Ma said there "can't be any hope" for cross-strait reunification unless Beijing changed its attitude on the outlawed [group]."

""It is clear that Jiang Zemin is behind the torture, ordered the torture, and should be held responsible," said Terri Marsh, the Washington-based attorney for the victims. Using the Alien Tort Claim Act and the Torture Victims Protection Act, Ms. Marsh filed papers with the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Illinois Oct. 18, four days before Mr. Jiang made a brief visit to the city."

"According to the Falun Dafa Information Centre, Ms. Yang Yueli, a former senior engineer of China’s Aeronautics Ministry, was detained in a labour camp because she practised Falun Gong. Ms. Yang Yueli, now 62 years old, once participated in the research and launch of China’s first satellite."

The next day, I related this small incident to my husband, who is not a practitioner, and he was really moved by it just like I had been. He said that it would have been much better if I had offered her all of my meal. Later that evening, I spotted my husband picking up his English version of "Zhuan Falun", which till then had been left there unread for a long time.

After receiving notice of being sentenced to forced labour, they ripped the notice into pieces. A wicked official said, "You won't be able to go home until the 16th Party Congress is over." The Falun Dafa practitioners firmly said, "Your words mean nothing to us."

After she and I had a nasty argument one time, I had left the house with the situation unresolved. I had been ashamed when she told me how she'd cried when some flowers delivered shortly afterwards turned out not to be from me. I therefore decided that this year I would have some flower's delivered to her...
