From January 12 to 14, Falun Gong practitioners around the world will hold press conferences and peaceful appeals to expose the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and demand an end to the killing.Since November 2002, reports of forty-three practitioners being killed in forced labor camps, detention centers, jails, and "Rehab" Centers have been received overseas.

We think that Falun Gong is a method of personal cultivation that is beneficial to society. It can improve people’s health and upgrade their moral standards. This practice can beautify people’s hearts, improve interpersonal relationships, eliminate various habits that are harmful to the mind and body, and rectify the adverse effects of certain quasi-religious practices have had on the modern society (especially on young people).

As they revealed the story of brutality and torture to the weekend shoppers in Gothenburg, many stopped to talk with these two young men, to give some words of encouragement and/or sign their petition addressed to the UN. A couple who had just signed the petition were asked, “What do you think about what the boys are doing?” Without hesitation, they said; “Great! What they are doing is good. This concerns us too. We know about what is happening.”

Amnesty International had appealed for the Prime Minister of the Federation to express his stance during his visit to China from December 29 to 31: anti-terrorism cannot be used as an excuse to harm internationally recognised human rights. Mr. Pleiter warned, “Silence will be thought of as acceptance of the Chinese leaders behaviour.”

Yet another tragic death of an elderly lady, kidnapped and then brutalised until her body could take it no more. The Jiang regime, due to fear and paranoia of good people, has wasted huge sums of money on mobilising its security forces to unleash its hatred against Dafa practitioners, many of whom are grandmothers and grandfathers, elderly people who have found relief from their ailments and peace in their hearts through practising Falun Gong.

That evening, the evil police at the detention centre did not sleep the whole night in order to viciously torture these three practitioners. The cries of misery at the detention centre carried on all night. Guo Peijun's clothes were saturated with blood so badly that he could no longer wear them...

They violently beat Dafa practitioners' faces with thorny cactus leaves... They tied practitioners tightly with thick wire cables, and then they used hand-cranked telephones to generate electricity to shock the practitioners all over their bodies. Each time the electric shock torture lasted for about 8 hours. The pain caused by the torture was impossible to describe.

This persecution is so vicious such that even one’s own family can be poisoned by the lies, leading a husband to betray his wife, deliberately abuse her, and collude with the authorities to have her incarcerated and tortured. Gao colluded with the local officials, the principal, a school director, and the Chengguan Police Station to secretly detain his wife in a mental hospital.

A "solemn declaration" is a person's public statement declaring to the world that whatever he or she has done or said under duress or deception that was against Falun Dafa is null and void. Most of these statements have come from Falun Dafa practitioners in China who wished to express regret that, in the face of physical torture and brainwashing, they had signed documents renouncing Dafa and guaranteeing not to practice again.

On January 5, 2003, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Tucson invited local Falun Gong practitioners to conduct a seminar about Falun Gong. About twenty people came to attend the seminar...Most of the people had little or no knowledge about Falun Gong before the seminar, and were very moved by the information. Some even asked to start group practice at the Church.

On January 6, 2003, Falun Gong practitioners from the Dallas area in Texas held a "Journey of Falun Dafa" photo exhibition at City Hall. The purpose of conducting this photo exhibition was to let more people learn about Falun Gong and find out the real story about Falun Gong.

Looking upward at the magnificence of the world, I’ve seen all the illusions of the changeable earth. The numerous sails on the vast sea Are fearless of the violent wind and monstrous waves, Advancing in the wind, they break through the waves.

Her face carved with fatigue and sorrow, a kind mother came to the Lotus Master with a teenage retarded boy. Though she accepted the retarded child as he was, she wanted to know what her predestined relationship with the child was, and why she had to suffer the pain together with the child.

The righteousness and dignity of the practitioners greatly frightened the police and officials present. The ferocious court police even paid respect to practitioners after the trial. Everyday people who attended the trial also admired the practitioner's courage.

Throughout the past three and a half years, the Jiang regime has spread lies to incite hatred against Falun Gong and its practitioners. However, due to the combined efforts of Falun Gong practitioners, more and more people have been awakening to the truth of the persecution and seeing through Jiang's lies. This article gives details of four situations where people have realised the truth.

The millions of Dafa practitioners are like lights in this world. Our kind and righteous words and conduct are the shining rays of light. The more people we encounter, the broader the region bathed in light. Let’s make all the people in every corner on this planet feel the warmth of Buddha light, make them feel the greatness and solemnity of Buddha Fa!
