Four policemen led by Mr. Liu Juhua repeatedly beat Ms. Yang. Her left arm was broken. Ms. Yang was barely able to move her left arm without severe pain. The police also doused her eyes with red-pepper water. They even stuffed a lit cigarette up her nose, causing Ms. Yang to pass out. They tied her in a spread-eagle position to a wooden board as if she were on a cross. They did not care about her pain and suffering.

During his detention, the police forced him to work 20 hours a day with other inmates using their teeth to crack and remove the shells of sunflower seeds. Because of his age, Wan Guifu couldn't fulfil his workload. With silent approval from the guards, the inmates often beat him brutally. Cracking the shells had already made Wan's lips swollen, nails cracked, and fingers bloody. He lived with severe physical discomfort everyday, burdened with injuries and a heavy workload. In addition, he often received beatings. The torture continued non-stop until this formerly healthy man couldn't stand up anymore.

The authorities are full of complaints from high to low levels. Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan's people have used all kinds of means to persecute Falun Gong and are at the end of their wits.

The police used a rope to tie Huang's two thumbs together and hung him up by the rope. Whenever Huang lost consciousness, they used a coin to scratch his ribs, or jabbed him with toothpicks. He was repeatedly tortured. Huang's head was terribly swollen from the beating. The walls of the room where Huang was tortured were spattered with blood. Nails had been banged onto the wall. From the marks it looked like Huang had been nailed to the wall. Whoever has seen the spot could not bear to look at it. Huang has been tortured into a wizened deformed shape. He was not able to speak or sit.
