Falun Gong is a righteous way, and everyone practising it sets requirements for themselves according to the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," not seeking self interests, not doing bad deeds, how can this be branded "evil"? May I ask every officer sitting here: In the past three plus years, among the Falun Gong practitioners being arrested, detained, and sentenced, was there any behaviour such as robbery, theft, drug addiction, drug trafficking, gambling, indecent conduct, deceit, corruption, or bribery? Measuring it in your heart, aren't Falun Gong practitioners innocent individuals?

People must by now be familiar with the name "610 Office." It has received condemnation and disdain from just people and media because of the atrocities it has committed. What people know, however, is only the tip of the iceberg.

The people of China, the world, and humankind are at a momentous turning point in history. It is of the utmost importance to every person, every race, and every nation that we understand that Jiang Zemin’s persecution of Falun Gong is harming China and threatening the world.

Dafa has saved my life. I firmly believe in Dafa. No one can move my firm belief in Dafa. I obtained the Fa at the critical moment of life and death. I am really very fortunate. I want to advise those who have not yet listened to Dafa and who still have kind thoughts, please take the time and read the invaluable book Zhuan Falun.

Since I began practicing, I started to cultivate my inner nature, my body was purified, and the blood clots are all gone. It has now been 7 years since I started practicing, and I have not taken Warfarin for such a long time, yet I am not only alive, I also have a healthy body. This sufficiently proves that Falun Dafa is not "superstition." It is an advanced science. As long as you conduct yourself by the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance," you will achieve the effect of healing.

In such a grieved society and nation, where evil overcomes justice, please forgive me for the fact that I can only give you my moral support; I will forever be with you (Falun Gong). There are also many students and friends who share my feelings, I think that they are on your side in their hearts too. For justice to be served it is just a matter of time; those evil forces will eventually be punished.

She started to think better of Falun Dafa practitioners. When she was on duty, she helped Falun Dafa practitioners as much as she could. Later on, she spent her own money to buy foods for detained practitioners. She also often made use of her convenient work condition to pass Falun Dafa articles and books, etc. to practitioners. Later, she borrowed Falun Dafa books from practitioners and read repeatedly. She started to practice Falun Gong this way.

On the train during a recent trip to Russia, I met a woman who runs a business in Russia. She told me that she had read Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Gong, and found it to be a very good book. She said this book reveals the true principles of the universe--Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, and asks the readers to become good people. That was the first time I had heard positive comments about Falun Gong. Her comments were different from what I had found in the Chinese media...why was it totally different from the propaganda in China?

The CCP has applied the same type of propaganda used in the June 4 student movement to suppress Falun Gong. The CCP utilised every television station, every newspaper, every radio network, as well as various other media in China, to take advantage of the gullibility of kindhearted Chinese citizens and to propagate these deliberate deceits all over China and all over the world.

Can you ever succeed in breaking a person’s will that is truly steadfast and as solid as a diamond or be able to diminish a faith that is forged stronger than steel? How can you attempt to change the heart or mind of even one practitioner who has assimilated their life to the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" the essential qualities of a righteous and boundless cosmos!

The CCP orchestrated a legal cover-up of the tragic death of Mr. Sun Zhigang. One would hope that these facts about the CCP’s brutality and the lessons learned from these people’s blood and lives will help the Chinese people become aware that the rampant tyranny is a plague for all people in the nation, not merely Falun Gong practitioners. A Chinese saying expresses it this way, “When the lips are gone, the teeth will feel the chill.”

While the entire family was happy for her, she was arrested by the local police and sent to a brainwashing class. She was released a month later, with bruises and cuts covering her entire body. Over the dinner table, Mom told us that police tried to force my aunt to write something to defame Dafa, but she refused. The police had hung her from the pillar of the house by a leather strap, and beat her with a whip. I cried when I heard this. Why would people attack something as good as Falun Dafa?

Before this practitioner said anything, this farmer started to talk. "SARS was discovered last November. However, in order to continue to be the president of the National Military Commission, Jiang insisted on hiding the truth until it could no longer be covered up. He harmed the whole country and he is incapable of leading the country. His way of ruling a country is like placing a ball on top of a mountain and letting it roll on its own. It does not matter to him where the ball rolls. He created the so-called 'three represents'. They actually represent corruption, cheating, abduction and stealing..."

Happily we were home. At that moment, I could not help shouting out: "Falun Gong is so marvellous!" I would not have believed what had happened, had I not experienced it personally. I said to my father: "Why don't you practise Falun Gong too? You can see that mother has saved so many medical expenses over these years. Even the tumour disappeared suddenly from her lung even after it had been clearly diagnosed as been present. If you practise Falun Gong, I'd fully support you."

Other people who were helping to persecute this teacher were shocked and scared, so they started to ask the students about the activities and situations of this practitioner. After the class monitor received the news of the phone calls, not only did he not cooperate with the "610 Office"*, but he also told his fellow classmates not to cooperate with them. He said, "No one should report anything that would harm our school teacher."

"Just say 'Falun Dafa is good' in his ear and see if he has any reaction," I advised her. After my sister returned to her home, she kept repeating, "Falun Dafa is good" in his ear, and after three hours, he woke up and said that he wanted something to eat. My sister was very excited and asked him to say "Falun Dafa is good" as well. After two days, his health returned to normal, and now he talks about the miracle of Falun Dafa with everyone he meets.

When they parted, the practitioner gave the father a bag of truth-clarification materials and said, "Pass out these materials when you go back. Perhaps your daughter's disease will be cured." Disbelieving, the father didn't hand out the materials after he went back. Instead, he went everywhere to find a cure for his daughter, but to no avail. Then all of a sudden, the father recalled what the Dafa practitioner had told him and so he went out and distributed the bag of materials. After he returned home, he found that his daughter's illness had completely disappeared!

Since the first SARS case appeared in Guangdong Province last November, most people have come to realize the chilling fact that the Jiang regime in Mainland China was covering up the spread of this highly contagious disease in order to secure its struggle to hold onto political power. They issued secret orders to ban reporting on SARS, and spread lies to deny the existence of the disease. Their reckless actions allowed SARS to spread to other countries, harming many lives and seriously undermining the economic development in various areas, including China.

While he was heading home down the hill, the weather changed and dark clouds were stirring, accompanied by claps of thunder. He was scared and rushed home. He closed the door upon entering his house and heavy rain began to pour down....

I was clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa on the internet yesterday when I received the following response from one of the people I was chatting with after only sending out a few greeting messages containing Falun Dafa web sites addresses on them: "I want the books. How do I get them?"

I am a businessman who makes regular trips between China and Russia. In the train during a recent trip to Russia, I met a woman who runs a business in Russia. She told me that she had read Zhuan Falun, and found it is very good book. She said this book unravels the true principles of the universe –- Truthfulness-Kindness-Tolerance, and asks the readers to become good people. That was the first time for me to hear positive comments about Falun Gong. Her comments were different from what I had found in the Chinese media. I was astonished and puzzled.

I think loyalty and respect are commendable values, but I don’t think that one needs to suffer in this way for them and I don’t see how loyalty, respect and the love for one’s country can be in conflict with accepting the truth. I think we often forget the deep distinction between the regime governing the country and the country itself, and don’t realise that the instinct to defend the regime which people often have really comes from a more fundamental loyalty, respect and love for one’s country.

"Older Chinese people like us believe that what goes around comes around. Don’t you think this could be true? Jiang Zemin uses you as a stick to beat people. You may not truly be a bad person. However, people have to pay for what they owe."

In the last couple of years, there have been many stories of those who have said some good words about Falun Gong, or done some good deeds for Falun Gong having good fortune and also stories of those people who persecuted Falun Gong practitioners suffering great misfortune. For many Chinese, these stories are prompting them to remember the words which their parents or grandparents used to say, and to rekindle their belief in the old saying, “Good is rewarded with good, and evil brings retribution”.

In April 1999, Falun Gong practitioners were invited to demonstrate the exercises in a meeting of Chang Qing association in Brussels. I had practiced Tai Chi for several years and also learned Qigong. Therefore, I was very interested in practitioners’ demonstration so I bought a copy of Zhuan Falun and a videotape of exercises and took them home. After reading the book from beginning to end, I was deeply impressed by the manner of Master Li: he was tireless in teaching others, responsible to the people, spoke out frankly without reservation and talked about things that others dare not to say.

The older woman's family was full of joy, as if they were celebrating Chinese New Year. Many relatives called and asked about her condition. Her family told them, "She was cured, and she was cured by practising Falun Gong!" Some relatives didn't believe what they heard and so they travelled several hundred miles to see for themselves. Once they witnessed the older woman walking around the house and even performing some household chores, many of them said they would go home and read the book themselves-- because it was indeed miraculous.

Numerous Dafa practitioners, from teenage girls to elderly people of over seventy years of age, have been tortured to death. Many families have been broken up or forced to disperse and many people dare not return home so as to avoid arrest. Under such circumstances Falun Dafa practitioners are revealing the facts of the persecution to the people who have been fooled by the evil lies with their immeasurable mercy as well as great compassion and forbearance.

After finishing his business, Wang walked home and worried about his life. He saw Zou, a woman who made Tofu in the next village, crying by a pond. Zou told him that her husband was very sick and that they didn't have enough money to pay the medical bills. Wang, a kind person, figuring that he wouldn't live very long anyway, gave his money, more than a thousand Yuan, to Zou to save her husband. Zou thanked him and took the money. Her husband was saved from death.

Her in-laws had pleaded with her to give up the practice, but she had refused, and because they were heavily influenced by the propaganda about Dafa from the Jiang regime, they had become very angry with her. But, on hearing the news of her brother-in-law suffering from terminal cancer, she went to the hospital to see him. She advised him to read the book Zhuan Falun [The main text of Falun Dafa] saying, “If you truly believe in it, you better start reading this book, Zhuan Falun, right now."

SARS made its first appearance in Guangdong Province on November 16, 2002. It happened during the meeting of the Sixteenth Party Congress led by Jiang Zemin where he was actively seeking another term as the chairman of the Central Military Commission. In order not to burst the bubble of "peace and prosperity" and not to stain Jiang's image, to successfully keep his power, the Guangdong Province Party Secretary at that time, followed Jiang's orders and tried his best to cover up the facts from the top level to the low, which caused SARS to develop and spread around the world.

My father who rarely talked also grew angry and yelled at me, "From now on you aren't allowed to talk about Falun Gong. What is wrong with people practising Falun Gong and having their hearts becoming more compassionate? It doesn't interfere with the country, society or the family. They all obtain many benefits from Falun Gong without any harm. If everyone practises cultivation in Falun Gong, the whole nation will become very good and we would not have to worry about corruption. Now policemen just like you have done lots of bad things and regard good people as bad people."

One of the travellers in the group happened to be my patient, who happened to carry berberine pills with him. He gave the American some berberine pills, and within two hours, his symptoms disappeared and the amebic dysentery was cured. The American was so grateful that it made my patient speechless. Ever since then, this American will make sure to stop by the clinic before travelling and stock up on the Chinese medicine that solved this medical emergency.

One day, they half jokingly talked about Falun Gong and he asked the head of the "610 Office," "I hear many people say that practising Falun Gong is very good for healing and fitness. Do you believe it? Why don't you give it a try and gain some understandings about it? Let your sick wife practise Falun Gong and read the Dafa books that had been confiscated. If her illness is cured, stop persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, for they all are good people. When they held a hunger strike, you chain them to chairs and feed them unpalatable food. From my point of view, you all are inhumane. What the ruling Party publicises as being bad is actually good."

It is said that an investigative group in the upper hierarchy of the CCP has finished investigating Jiang's entire history. Moreover, many things in Jiang's résumé that are related to his history in the CCP are fabricated and these are now being thoroughly investigated. In upper levels inside China, there is a group that is actively seeking to "overthrow Jiang". News about the lawsuit against Jiang has been spread among all levels of Chinese government officials. Some officials have started "finding a way out" and have secretly organised and collected "files" to prove themselves "innocent", and that they were forced to carry out "610 Office" orders.

I constantly strived to improve myself, discarding my jealousy, competitive mentality, selfishness, and my bad temper. When conflicts arose, I first looked within to see if I had done something wrong, and if the other party was harmed as a result of my actions. I gradually changed and improved, albeit with considerable difficulty. As I studied the Fa, practised the exercises, and raised my moral character, the ailments I had before all had but disappeared.

Since May 6, 1996, I seriously started the path of my cultivation. I study Falun Dafa and practise the exercises persistently. My whole life has been completely transformed ever since. I have become very healthy and energetic, and never feel tired even after work. I know that Teacher has purified my body. From the very first day when I started practising Falun Dafa until the present, for seven years I never took one single pill or received any injections or medication. I feel so delighted not to be bothered by any illness.

Several years have passed. Yet at every waking moment, we still worry about our family members who were forcefully expelled from their homes. We are faced with the fact that hundreds of Falun Gong practitioners have been tortured to death, with even more deaths of practitioners due to the persecution that has being undocumented. We never know, and don't dare to imagine whether our loved ones were among those Falun Gong practitioners. We still await their return.

I recount my three operations and three near death experiences to everyone I meet, and tell them how I am alive again after practising Falun Gong. Falun Gong is quite miraculous. I show everyone the scars on my belly. My experience has spread to many villages. Many people who never knew the truth are awakening to it, including police officials.

I am a 60 year old woman from the countryside. Before I got to know Falun Dafa, my daughter and I could not get along well. The animosity between us developed over a number of years. At this time, all my illnesses were getting worse; I had insomnia, gastritis, arthritis, heart disease, a protruding stomach and a swollen body. I felt I'd be better off dead. Every day I was worried to tears, moving closer towards death.

I don't quite understand why Jiang forbade people to practise Falun Dafa. Why should he use the military and the police to suppress them? Practitioners respect the elderly and young, help others and will pick up lost money and return it to the rightful owner. When faced with Jiang's brutal persecution, they have adopted the most peaceful ways to appeal and ask for nothing but the freedom to practise.

The demographic data reflected that many practitioners in North America are relatively young and well educated. The health improvement based on self-evaluated health status before and after beginning the practice was very strong. Based on the positive survey results, around February of 2001 we wrote a paper and submitted it to an academic public health journal.

Both my parents are practitioners; I do not see any bad things in them. They are eager to help others, and I am proud of them! Yet, I am separated from my parents. It makes no sense for our country to be used to persecute compassionate practitioners in the name of "protecting our country." Even though I am not a practitioner, I believe in the truth: the evil persecutors cannot run rampant for much longer!

Under generations of dictatorship in China, Chinese people have formed many notions and deeply rooted ways of thinking which prevent them from understanding why practitioners dare to uphold their beleifs and why they dare to criticise the persecution. This article, originally in Chinese, was written to help Chinese people to understand why it is right to question the persecution of Falun Gong and why it is right for Falun Gong practitioners to stand up for themselves

When you gather together with your families, please think about how many Falun Gong practitioners are bearing the pain of ruined and broken families, and how many wives, husbands, children and parents are longing to be reunited with their relatives! Please look at the truth, and don't be deceived any longer! Please act on your conscience and stand up to expose the evil, please reach out a helping hand and stop this evil persecution.

I am a lucky child because I have been given the chance to practise Falun Gong. I can't understand what is so wrong with being a good person in this land where I grew up. The bad people constantly forbid people to practise Falun Gong which would make society better. My school also forces everyone to sign their names to denounce Falun Gong. The lies and false propaganda are poisoning children's hearts. Seeing my classmates deceived, my heart is weeping.

We, as citizens of Australia have been prompted to write this letter to voice our deepest concerns for the future prosperity of your country and your people. We believe that freedom is not a privilege but an absolute and fundamental right for the citizens of all nations! By valuing the principles of virtue and morality, the foundation of 5000 years of Chinese history and tradition, prosperity and peace will surely prevail!

I went to the County Political Safety Department to reason with them. I said, "She did nothing wrong by practising Falun Gong; her disease was cured and she wanted to be a good person. If you don't allow that, you are violating her basic rights!" The people from the Political Safety Department said, "This is ordered by the top; we dare not refuse. In China, you need to obey the Chinese government."

It is unthinkable to modern people, who understand that “science and technology bring wealth,” that valuable technologies were not preserved in ancient China. Actually, this issue has to do with the underlying assumptions of the scientific theories and moral attainments of scientists in ancient China. I will begin a series of discussions on various disciplines of chemistry in ancient China by first talking about the ancient Chinese theories regarding “substances.”

When asked questions about Falun Gong, he said, "Falun Gong teaches people to be good and kind, and is very beneficial to the country. What's wrong with it? Right or wrong is not determined by a certain person or an organisation, it's determined by the nature of the issue itself. I've never seen any examples like they show on the TV. What I see is that Falun Gong practitioners in many areas are healthy, with rosy complexions; they are kind and unselfish; and their spiritual realm is higher than we communist party members and officials.

"As part of our job, we had to read Zhuan Falun; I felt the teachings in the book were quite good, but I did not believe such good people existed. I had always thought there must be some other agenda, so I kept a watchful eye and did not make contact with anyone. After a period of time, I found that you people really did follow the teachings of the book - to become good people"
