A Falun Gong practitioner spoke to a guard in the Tianjin City Jianxin Labour Camp about Falun Gong, informing him of the truth. This guard said, "I have read all of Falun Gong's books, and I know you are good people. When authorities give orders, we have no choice but to execute them. We now no longer beat practitioners. Very few of us still administer beatings, just the ones who are seeking promotions."

I said, "Because what I know is different from what the media says. Falun Gong teaches people to be good and talks about truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. What's wrong with that? Shouldn't a person be sincere, kind and tolerant? I think that all human beings should be like that regardless of whether they are Communist Party members or not." They still smiled and said, "Then you mean a Communist Party member should also follow 'Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance?'" "Yes." I said very firmly.

The charge against most Falun Gong practitioners who were found guilty and received guilty verdicts was "using cult to sabotage the implementation of law." From the written documents of the verdicts by the courts, the charges lack proof, are without legal foundation and the cited law articles are mostly nebulous. Such unjust trials have been held over the past six years in courts throughout the country. The punishment for Falun Gong practitioners can be as high as a 20-year prison term.

When I got into a taxi, I told the driver the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong. The driver said that he had been to Tiananmen Square and that the Square was very big. If someone wanted to set himself on fire, it would be impossible for the firemen to come to rescue him within a period of time as short as portrayed on the TV and that the self immolation was an obvious lie. He knew the self-immolation was fake the first time he saw it on TV.

Laws just get announced and the Chinese citizens have to accept them. When it comes to individual cases, the ruling is often already set before the courts open up to hear the cases. The trial is only a showcase. In fact, the CCP uses the law to deceive the public, cover up its violence, fake the trappings of civilisation, enslave the Chinese people's thoughts and dictate their words and actions.

Each time we publish news of this nature, we do so with heavy hearts. These people started off as public servants, but under the intense pressure applied by Jiang Zemin's regime, they were pushed into persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners. In the process of destroying the lives of kind, law-abiding citizens, they have sealed their own fates and inevitably faced karmic retribution as punishment. If it weren't for Jiang Zemin's wicked orders, perhaps their fates would have been different

The average number of withdrawals from both the Communist Party and the Youth League is 15,000 to 20,000 per day. Due to the strict intensified Internet blockade in China, the number of people who can declare their withdrawals online is restricted. Nevertheless, the number indicates the rapid spread among Chinese people of news about the withdrawals and the book behind the movement, the Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party, published by the Epoch Times in November.

According to a report on the website of Reporters Without Borders on March the 15th, 2005, bowing to Beijing’s pressure, Eutelsat will stop broadcasting the programmes of the New Tang Dynasty TV (NTDTV.) It was reported that since its subsidiary NSS started to broadcast the NTDTV’s programmes to Asia, China included, on July the 1st, 2003, the Paris-headquartered Eutelsat Satellite Company has been repeatedly threatened by the Chinese Communist regime demanding to cancel all the programmes provided by the NTDTV.

If NTDTV is silenced, it will enable one of the world's worst violators of media freedom and human rights to re-establish full censorship over the broadcast information available to its citizens. In light of our nation's pre-eminent role in promoting transparency, openness and freedom overseas, the silencing of NTDTV's broadcast to China is an unacceptable outcome.

On March 4th, 2005, my point of view changed when I had an opportunity to experience an amazing occurrence in my own home. After personally experiencing Falun Dafa's miraculous nature, I would like to publicly exclaim from my heart, "Falun Dafa is good!"

Since the year 2000, each March and April there are one to two thousand Falun Gong practitioners from Europe, Asia, Australia, North America and South America going to Geneva to raise awareness of the persecution against Falun Gong in China. Where does the money for all their travelling and materials come from?

Unfortunately, Eutelsat, a Paris-based satellite company that transmits NTDTV over Asia, has apparently caved in to pressure from the Chinese government to stop beaming content that is uncensored and sometimes critical of the PRC. Eutelsat has notified NTDTV that it will stop broadcasting the channel to Asia on April 15th. If Eutelsat succeeds in silencing NTDTV, it will enable the PRC, one of the world's worst violators of media freedom and human rights, to once again re-establish full censorship over broadcast information available to its citizens.

There have been many lessons like this over the course of history. People are accustomed to predicting what will happen in the future based on their own life experiences. However, many important things that occur in human society are beyond people's imagination. For instance, the Cultural Revolution, the Tangshan earthquake, the collapse of the communist Soviet Union, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the outbreak of SARS, the tsunami in South Asia were all unexpected by many people before they actually happened.

In Liaoning Province there was a guard who worked at the Fushun City Forced Labour Camp. Since the persecution of Falun Dafa started, he was deluded by the lies issued by Jiang Zemin and his regime and was extremely vicious and fierce toward the Falun Dafa practitioners in the labour camp. He frequently assaulted the practitioners savagely, acting as a hatchet man for Jiang's regime.

Even under such conditions, practitioners across the country, their families and people in the legal and judicial field, including lawyers, have not given up seeking justice and filing lawsuits against these vicious thugs. In this article, several examples are cited below. We hope that people will see through the violence and threats, and just how people of justice and bravery in China are fighting these crimes in a rational and peaceful fashion.

Serendipity is the name given to the gift of making unexpected and happy discoveries by accident. Actually, upon reading a recent copy of Epoch Times (Special Edition) that I found on a London Underground train, I am inclined to believe that a Higher Power may lie behind some such joyful discoveries.

I have also arrested Falun Dafa practitioners and participated in the persecution of Falun Gong. But recently I talked with several Falun Dafa practitioners and learnt about their belief and saw their sincerity, kindness, and tolerance. I was moved and began protecting them in secret. I became good friends with Falun Dafa practitioners. Now, I feel so lucky to have been awakened and feel very grateful for the chance Falun Dafa gave me.

In 1998, medical authorities in China conducted five surveys on the health benefits of Falun Gong in Beijing, Wuhan, Dalian and Guangdong. About 35,000 surveys were received and they found that 98% of those who responded indicated either improvement, recovery, or cure. On average, each practitioner saved the government about 2600 yuan in medical expenses. It's estimated that Falun Gong can save the government tens of thousands of dollars in medical expenses annually.

Before the persecution against Falun Gong oficially began on July 20th, 1999, large-scale group practise of the Falun Gong exercises were easily visible in Lingyuan, Liaoning Province. These photos were taken in 1998 during group practice near the Lingyuan Government buildings.

The International media have recently focused their attention the EU’s planned ending of its arms embargo on China. Because of China’s deplorable human rights record, many nations in the world, especially the United States, Japan and Singapore, expressed their grave concern to the lifting of the arms embargo. International human rights organisations have protested to the EU.

They had to go through a special entrance with inspection instruments, as well as being searched by police one by one (men were searched by policemen, and women were searched by policewomen, with more than 10 people watching by the side.) On the tower, plainclothes police were on guard 5 steps apart. They keep a close eye on every tourist. More plainclothes policemen walked with the tourists. As two tourists were whispered something, several people around immediately approached them, searched them once again and questioned them. The tourists were disgusted by such despicable deeds.

Then she took out the fifth commentary: "On the Collusion of Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party to Persecute Falun Gong." After watching it, her father stood speechless for a very long time, and then finally said: "It looks as though the Party really is persecuting Falun Gong. Falun Dafa practitioners have been treated unjustly..."

Over five years ago, not long after Jiang Zemin's faction and the Chinese Communist Party started the persecution of Falun Gong, Falun Gong practitioners have continuously appeared in front of Chinese embassies and consulates in several countries. They meditate, practise the Falun Gong exercises, or distribute flyers to passers-by to clarify the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution in China.

Practising Falun Dafa has added many extraordinarily wonderful things to my life that human language cannot describe. Yet, in my eight years of practise, my husband has never praised Falun Dafa in front of me. In fact he didn't even support my practise and went so far as threatening to divorce me in order to keep me from practising. However, two recent events convinced me that he has changed his attitude. I feel genuinely happy for him.

The Falun Gong practitioners in my village have often been harassed and taken away by police, and had their homes searched. One day in November of 2002, when a fellow villager and practitioner, Mr. Xu Zhihua, was preparing bedding for his mother, police broke into his home and abducted him. He was illegally detained for 24 days and fined 1,000 yuan. This was criminal behaviour. The practitioner was not allowed to defend himself and was denied basic human rights. Those policemen acted like real gangsters.

These four deceptive statements confuse good and evil, and gradually penetrated into my blood. The typical influence came from the one about treating "enemies" with ruthlessness and badness. But who were the "enemies" then? How could one make certain who they are? What could be regarded as weaknesses? Who were the comrades? What kind of job was one's duty? The Party decided all these. What were the criteria that the Party used to tell right from wrong then?

The stereo system has guaranteed that the public could clearly hear the commentary on the busy streets of the city centre and above loud noise levels. Matched with picture display boards, pedestrians were easily attracted to the beautifully produced truth story clips, and stopped one by one to watch. When the pedestrians saw with their own eyes the truth behind the self-immolation deceit directed by the Chinese Communist Party the Jiang regime and all kinds of torture suffered by Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China, the shock effect was obvious.

Falun Dafa can improve people's morality, nobility and physical health, which can bring benefit to the country and its citizens. Yet, such a good practise has gone through more than five years of horrible suppression. How many families have been broken up because of the irrational repression by Jiang's regime? How many families have lost their warmth and harmony because a father and son now oppose each other? How many young children have become orphans after their parents were tortured to death in prison?

I was driving a reporter home who worked for China Central TV. During our conversation the reporter complained, "Doing work for the Communist Party, you have to do whatever they want. If they want you to be a donkey, you have to be a donkey. If they want you to be a horse, you have to be a horse. We are again doing overtime to prepare materials for slandering Falun Gong. All the video clips you saw on TV about Falun Gong were fabricated! Some of them were done with digital editing. Some were done by actors.

When Chinese society is in all sorts of upheaval, including politics, the economy, the environment, and morality, the CCP still mobilises and calls on all of society to fight with the cultivation group that follows the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance." This is the manifestation of the CCP's nature of being anti-human, valuing violence, and against the flow of history.

One day, they wanted to learn the Falun Dafa exercises and asked me to demonstrate them. I had started an exercise but didn't see the approaching guard who was patrolling the cells. When the guard saw what I was doing, he angrily dashed into the cell brandishing a club. He tried to hit me but the other inmates blocked him, and another inmate was hit instead, which made the others angry. They jumped at the guard and drove him out of the cell.

After reading the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party," I completely agree with the description of the tyranny of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The words about the horrendous massacre are all true. I would like to share my personal experience about how the CCP used a school janitor to make trouble for the senior principal in my hometown of Fujian Province. I also hope that all people will carefully read the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party."

According to the article, there is a worldwide trend condemning the use of torture. China has co-signed the United Nation's Convention Against Torture and other Cruel Inhuman and Degrading Treatment or Punishment, and other relevant documents. In spite of this, the Chinese government has failed to effectively end the use of torture within the country and, according to the article, its use has become a widespread societal disease that not only threatens people's lives and the ruling Party's reputation, but also is ruining China's international image.

One time I was doing the exercises, and he beat me again. However, I didn't stop practising, and I didn't feel any pain. Then suddenly a golden beam of light shone from between my eyebrows onto my husband's arm. From then on, he did not restrict me from practising anymore." After hearing this, the policeman asked the husband, "Is that true?" The husband replied, "It is true, and my arm hurt for several days afterward." Then the policeman said, "Falun Gong is so amazing. I want to know more about it later if there is a chance."

During the time a member of my family was being illegally held at a labour camp for appealing in Beijing for a stop to the persecution of Falun Gong, my daughter Bai Yin and I signed a document that stated, "Falun Gong is an (slanderous words deleted)" at the front office of the labour camp in order to meet with our family member. Here we announce that our signatures are completely void. We want to use this opportunity to tell people that Falun Dafa is great to make up for our mistakes.

In reality, when a person commits a murder, everyone will condemn him with anger. When a person murders hundreds or thousands of people, the world will call him a monster or a maniac. But the CCP has murdered at least 60 million Chinese people. Why are the Chinese people afraid of calling it by its rightful name, monster or demon? The reason is that, like the young maiden in the earlier story, the Chinese people have been held hostages in the CCP’s den for over five decades.

During the New Year period of 2005, an elementary student from Linqing county of Shandong province had just received twenty yuan as his traditional Chinese New Year gift and he happily gave it to another practitioner. He sincerely said that he wanted to help with his small donation, to support the making of materials that contain the true facts about Falun Gong. He repeatedly expressed a wish that all the young people who had been poisoned by propaganda could awaken and help support Falun Gong.

Many people have long held the opinion that the Tiananmen self-immolation incident of January 23rd, 2001 was a politically motivated plot staged by the Jiang Zemin regime to defame Falun Gong. The Chinese authorities have recently brought up this incident again in order to deceive people. The government falsely claims that Xue Hongjun (one of the actors in the incident) was a veteran practitioner of Falun Gong. This article reveals Xue Hongjun's character from several different angles in an effort to expose the lies and rectify people's perceptions.

Squad leader Cui Hongmei, Xia Fengying, guard Zhou Ying and Deng Yu led twenty criminals, dragging us into the watershed, washrooms and prison cells, where we were tied with our backs to the sides of the beds. Sixteen practitioners who refused to wear prison uniforms as they hadn't broken any law, were tied up and hung with both hands, one hand up and one hand down, tied behind the back and hung up, their feet hovering above the ground. This continued until the practitioners agreed to give in to their commands.

Everyone in the township now knows that Falun Dafa is good and "Truthfulness - Compassion - Forbearance" is good. The policeman who used to be the most ruthless in his treatment of practitioners now avoids them. When he can't escape, he speaks up first and tells the practitioners that now he knows that Falun Dafa is good, that Falun Dafa practitioners are all good people, and that he no longer participates in the persecution of Falun Gong.

I heard someone calling out from behind me, "Young man! Wait for me!" I turned my head and saw the man who had read the poster hurrying toward me on his bicycle. I smiled and asked, "Uncle, is there anything I can do for you?" The elderly man said, "Do you still have the posters here with you? If you do, give me one, please." At that time it was not easy to get hold of such materials, thus, in order to let more people know the truth, I usually only put them up as posters and did not distribute them freely. However, since he requested one, I gave him a copy.

In order to find out what this mysterious energy really is, astronomers need to compare astrophysical observations that are at first sight completely unrelated. A harmonious society is first expressed as coherence and harmony between its members. A virtuous structure and a good moral foundation in a society allow conflicts to be resolved easily, resulting in civilised relationships between members. Therefore, respect and protection of basic human rights is an essential path that should be followed to ensure that people in a society can live in harmony.

People in the village heard about this plot and were very angry: "With heaven, earth and your conscience, more than one thousand pairs of eyes have witnessed her healing. Creating rumours against Falun Gong like this will end up with punishment from Heaven." Someone said Jiang Zemin caused this! "If he were not around, she could have still practised every day and would have stayed both healthy and happy."

Li Xiaofu was the director of the Hailin City second detention centre. He held a hostile attitude toward Dafa and often insulted the founder of Falun Gong, Teacher Li and Falun Dafa. He brutally tortured Falun Dafa practitioners. All practitioners detained there were ruthlessly beaten, tortured, humiliated and insulted by him. He was eventually fired for his involvement in a criminal case.
