The annual Christmas parade in Wellington, New Zealand, the Tip Top Santa Parade, was held on November 15th. Thousands of people lines the streets to watch. The Falun Gong entry consisted of about 100 practitioners and was warmly welcomed by the spectators.

November 14th, is the 32nd birthday of Wanda Elementary School. The principal of the school, Mr. Tseng, has often seen local Falun Gong practitioners doing exercises in a nearby park. The peaceful exercises made a deep impression on him.

Vancouver practitioners held a signature collection activity on November 14th, 2009. They made a strong appeal to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who is scheduled to visit China on December 2nd, 2009, to help rescue the relatives of Canadians during his visit.

On the afternoon of November 13th, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Singapore held a rally in Hong Lim Park, demanding Hu Jintao, head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), to bring an immediate end to the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

During the rally, many citizens passing by stopped to read the banners, and service center volunteers handed out informational materials and explained to them why 63 million Chinese people have quit the CCP at this point in history.

The director of the parade, Mr. Huang Guoren, was glad that practitioners agreed to be in the parade this year. He said, "Their performances are always great. I hope they will attend future parades. Their principle is Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. They are welcome in our communities."

The Missouri State University Falun Gong Club participated in the homecoming festival parade and won two first-place awards, for best float and best group on foot. Last year the club won the first-place award for student clubs in the homecoming festival.

The Falun Gong Society at the Taiwan Superior Court held its first group exercises during lunchtime on October 15th, 2009. The court staff enjoyed learning the five exercises from organiser Ms. Zhuang Huiping. She said that the society, which had been established and approved in mid-October, would provide staff members with another option for relieving work-related stress and improving physical and mental health. |

Parliamentary Friends of Falun Gong (PFOFG) was founded in Ottawa by an all-party group of senators and members of Parliament concerned about adversities facing followers of Falun Gong. It is the first such group of Parliamentarians in the world lending focused support to the practitioners of Falun Dafa, that has suffered a decade of persecution in communist China. |

At noontime on October 15th, the Taiwan Supreme Court's Falun Gong Club held its first-ever group practise. Led by Mrs. Zhuang, court employees learned the exercises with great interest and joy. Mrs. Zhuang said that the club was formed to provide court employees with another choice for stress relief and cultivation of mind and body. |

On October 11th, 200 people held a rally and parade in Chinatown, Brooklyn, to support the 61 million Chinese that have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Dozens of Chinese people quit the party at the rally.
