Prior to the upcoming Human Rights Torch Relay in Kaohsiung, the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) Asia Chapter is running a campaign to collect one million signatures in Taiwan to rally support to end the persecution of Falun Gong. After learning about the truth of the persecution, many people have signed the petition.

On May 3rd, a rally "Supporting 36 Million Withdrawals from the CCP" was held at City Square in Melbourne. The attendees condemned the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for arresting Falun Gong practitioners before the Olympics and called upon people to recognise the evil nature of the CCP and to quit the Party.

On the afternoon of April 27th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners held an "Anti-Persecution Million Signatures Global Campaign" event at East Gate Circle in Shinchu City, Taiwan. The event aimed to expose the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong and called on the world to help end the persecution.

On April 26th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners in the Washington DC Area were invited to recount the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China at a rally commemorating victims of the Vietnamese Communist Party. The rally was held at the Victims of Communism Memorial in Washington, DC.

Ms. Cui, who participated in the original April 25th appeal nine years ago, told of her experience at the rally. Afterwards, she told a reporter, "After the appeal, many people wondered whether we had 'become political.' I don't think so. Every practitioner had benefitted from Dafa. We were only expressing ourselves."

The principal of the school first gave a welcoming speech, and said, "Ever since I learned about how one should teach children to pay high attention to virtue, I was fascinated and inspired by Falun Dafa. I have been longing for the day to have an opportunity to learn the practice."

On the afternoon of April 25th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners in Queensland, Australia held an activity to commemorate the ninth anniversary of April 25th appeal in front of Chinese Consulate in downtown Brisbane. They called for an end of Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

To expose and end the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Falun Gong practitioners in Macao have been persistent in distributing truth-clarification materials on Senado Square and helping people quit the CCP.

Practitioners of Falun Gong will marked April 25 yesterday with candlelight vigils around the world, renewing calls for the Beijing regime to end a nine-year campaign of suppression that has recently escalated with the approach of the Olympics. It was on April 25, 1999, that Falun Gong first gained worldwide attention when some 10,000 adherents petitioned the central government in Beijing. Those gathering asked officials to release 40 practitioners who had recently been subjected to police abuse and unlawfully detained, and called for protection of their right to practice their beliefs in peace.

The Divine Performing Arts of New York touring company concluded its Asia-Pacific tour and returned to the US with honor. The company would next put on two performances of the Chinese Spectacular at the Paramount Theatre in downtown Seattle from April 23rd to 24th, 2008.

The Hawaiian Islands welcomed the premiere performance of the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular in Hawaii on the evening of April 21st, 2008 at the Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu.

On Sunday April 20th, a rally supporting the end of Communism in China was held on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. Hundreds of people were on the Hill that day and learned that more than 35 million people have quit the Chinese Communist Party, and that the number is steadily increasing every day.

After presenting the Chinese Spectacular 140 times in 19 Asian and Australian cities, the Divine Performing Arts returned to the United States on April 21st, and will hold several shows at Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu. The mayor of Honolulu, Mufi Hannemann, sent a congratulatory letter to the arts company.

On April 12th and 13th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners participated in the Suigen Cherry Festival in Toyota City, Aichi County. They performed Chinese traditional dances and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises.

On the afternoon of April 12th, 2008, there was a gathering in the middle of Chinatown to celebrate the occasion of 35 million Chinese people having quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organisations.

Many local Chinese people have attended. Daniel Liu, a local artist, had high praise for the show. To him, the combinations of the colours and the background scene designs were the most impressive. "They were unique and different from any other shows I have seen. The match between the colour of the background and the performers' costumes was amazing," he said.

The Uncompromising Courage Art Exhibition was held from March 8th to April 6th, 2008 at The Gallery at the State Theatre Centre for the Arts in Easton, Pennsylvania. The 15 paintings in the exhibit showed the brutality forced on Falun Dafa practitioners from the persecution, the effects it has had on their loved ones, and the practitioners' determination and faith.

On the occasion of the Human Rights Touch Relay arriving in the State of Colorado, the State Senate and House of Representatives jointly passed the following resolution to declare their support for the Human Rights Torch Relay campaign and proclaim April 2008 to be Human Rights Torch Relay Month in Colorado. The resolution pointed out: "There are reports that the Chinese regime sells illegally harvested vital body organs from Falun Gong prisoners of conscience."

The touring company of Divine Performing Arts completed its fifth performance of the Chinese Spectacular in Sydney, Australia on the evening of April 5th, 2008. Many local Chinese people attended the show and were pleased to talk about their impressions afterwards.

From March 25th to April 6th, the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" International Art Exhibition was held at the Chi-an Town Public Library and then at the Songyuan Exhibition Centre, both in Hualian County, from April 9th to 23rd.

Canberra newspapers and magazines, including Capital Magazine, City News, and several others published articles to introduce the upcoming Chinese Spectacular presented by Divine Performing Arts. The show was staged in Canberra, the capital of Australia, on April 11th and 12th, 2008.

The Divine Performing Arts of New York presented the second Chinese Spectacular show at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on the afternoon of April 8th, 2008. Many Chinese-Australians, new immigrants and visiting Chinese attended the show and enjoyed the Chinese traditional culture that was presented in the show in its beautiful and elegant programmes.

The Human Rights Torch Relay (HRTR) arrived in San Francisco on April 5th. Dozens of politicians and human right activists attended the activity and gave speeches. Attendees called upon the CCP to stop its crimes against humanity and stop the persecution of Falun Gong.

On April 5th, 2008, the Divine Performing Arts New York Company gave its last presentation of the Chinese Spectacular at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. Compared to previous performances at the center, the final show attracted more Chinese people.

On March 29th, 2008, young Falun Dafa practitioners from the Minghui School Dance Team in Philadelphia were invited to perform in the 2008 award ceremony for Women Cultivating Women. The ceremony was held in Philadelphia's Electricians Union Hall.

Recently, the CCP regime has intensified arrests and persecution of Falun Gong practitioners under the excuse of "preparation" for the Olympic Games. In order for more Japanese people know about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and help stop it, the Japanese Branch of the Global Mission to Rescue Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners initiated a car tour in Northern Japan.

The Central Kentucky Council for Peace & Justice has used a whole page to report about the persecution of Falun Gong in their newsletter Peaceways. They have also invited Falun Gong practitioners to speak at their annual conference.

This last weekend of March, Falun Gong practitioners from Long Island and Flushing, New York attended the St. Patrick's Day parade on Long Island. Although it is almost April, the weather is still very chilly. However, this didn't prevent people from joining the parade.

The Human Right Torch Relay (HRTR) with theme "Olympics and Crimes Against Humanity Cannot Coexist in China" reached Boston on March 30th. One thousand people attended the rally and several notable speakers gave speeches at the rally.

On March 29th, Falun Gong practitioners from Oakland, California, took part in the Oakland Chinatown Madison Park Reopening. City council member Pat Kernighan and several Chinese groups participated in the ceremony.

On March 29th, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) held its 33rd anniversary celebration and the local Divine Land Marching Band was invited to perform. For the very first time, members of the band wore ancient Chinese attire to perform and their performance was well received by the audience.

On the afternoon of March 27th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners in Washington DC held a rally in Lafayette Square near the White House to protest the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) escalation of the persecution of Falun Gong under the excuse of "preparation" for the Olympics.

The Bendigo Easter Parade in Victoria is the oldest ongoing parade in Australia, an annual tradition since 1971. Falun Gong has been invited to participate in the grand parade for the last several years.

Falun Gong practitioners from Western Australia learned about the Harvey Festival from the internet. They decided to take this chance to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the persecution in China.

In order to celebrate the 34 million Chinese people quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organisations, the Northern California Service Center for Quitting the CCP held a rally and parade at Portsmouth Square in San Francisco's Chinatown at noon on March 23rd, 2008.

On March 23rd, 2008, Malaysia and Singapore Service Centers for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) jointly held a march and rally to support the 34 million people who have quit the CCP and/or its affiliated organisations.

On March 23rd, the Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of local Falun Gong practitioners, debuted in the Easter Parade in Toronto. More than 80 groups performed in the parade.

On Saturday March 22nd, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners in Long Island went to Sunrise Shopping Mall to promote Falun Dafa.

On March 17th, Falun Gong practitioners in Ohio and nearby states participated in the St Patrick's Day parade in Cleveland. The practitioners performed on traditional Chinese waist drums and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises on a decorated float, receiving warm applause from spectators.

To protest the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) escalation of the persecution of Falun Gong under the excuse of "preparation" for the Olympics, Falun Gong practitioners in Houston held a rally in front of the Chinese Consulate and stated that Olympics and crimes against humanity cannot coexist.

On March 16th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners from Vancouver, Canada participated in the 5th St Patrick's Day parade. The Divine Land Marching Band, "celestial maidens" in traditional costumes, drummers and a beautiful float attracted the attention of the spectators. Over 100,000 people attended this event.

Dozens of practitioners from the greater Washington DC area rallied in front of the Chinese Embassy at noon March 18th to protest CCP atrocities. The CCP issued a secret decree recently in the name of the "Central Political and Judiciary Commission."

The Divine Land Marching Band led practitioners' entry. Four practitioners dressed as celestial maidens performed traditional Chinese dances. The dragon-dance team followed the celestial maidens.

This year's parade was the 156th annual St. Patrick's Day parade in San Francisco. Over a hundred groups in the procession marched along Market Avenue. The Falun Gong Western US Divine Land Marching Band was very eye-catching, and their music very impressive.

On March 15th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners held a rally in front of the Chinese Consulate to Toronto to protest the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) mass arrest of Falun Gong practitioners across China in the past two months.

At noon on March 14th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners held a rally in front of the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco and protested the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s mass arrests of Falun Gong practitioners in "preparation" for the Olympics.

The most influential magazine in Canadian medical industry "Medical Post" published a special report in the headlines about live organ harvesting on March 11th, 2008. Dr. Gerry Koffman likens the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) harvesting organs from living prisoners, including Falun Gong practitioners, to the Holocaust. He urged the Canadian government to take action to stop the atrocities.

The second performance of the Divine Performing Arts of New York was staged in the city of Tainan, in southern Taiwan, on March 1st. The performance remains unprecedented and enchanted many in the audience.

In the evening on March 7th, 2007, Mr. Liu Kun-Lin, President of the Culture and Education Foundation of the National Ping-tung Girls' Senior High School, and his wife attended the fourth Chinese Spectacular show in Kaohsiung. They were impressed by the precision movements in the dances and the artists' quick and expert moves.

On March 8th-9th, Falun Gong practitioners from Long Island and Flushing, New York, attended the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Bayshore and Lake Ronkonkoma.

On March 8th, Falun Gong practitioners from New York State participated in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in White Plains for the fifth time. More than 60 groups took part in the parade.

Feng Su-chu is a standing member of the Taiwan Health and Exercise Association. She said that the songs were very poignant and the lyrics had very deep meaning. "I believe that God was with us. The vocal solo performance was very touching."

On March 8th, 2008, the Global Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Taiwan Branch organised a large rally at Jhongjheng Park in Chongli City in support of the 34 million Chinese people who have formally quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations.

Recently, Falun Dafa practitioners in Ethiopia held an experience sharing conference and a large group exercise demonstration in Metu. The conference was held in a local auditorium.

Among the visitors there were many scholars who teach Asian culture in colleges in south Florida. They asked for more materials about Falun Dafa and some said they planned to invite practitioners to come to their classes to talk to their students.

Because it has been standing against North Korea for many years, the President's Hall Qing Wa Tai of South Korea is heavily secured by police and military. At this place, the Falun Dafa truth clarification site becomes a unique scene.

The Divine Performing Arts successfully held the fourth show of the Chinese Spectacular in Tainan on March 2nd. Ms. Wu, a member of the audience, said that what made the show so outstanding was that it conveyed reverence for divine beings. The combination of dances and music was perfect, too, she said.

While watching the Divine Performing Arts' shows, we noticed many teachers bringing their students. Such was the case recently in Taiwan, where the Divine Performing Arts' show was a wonderful present from teachers to students.

The young students from the Philadelphia Minghui School were recently invited to perform dances at General George A. McCall School during its annual Chinese New Year celebration.

On March 2nd and 3rd, practitioners in Western Australia took part in the annual Hyde Park Community Fair. It was the fourth time that the practitioners participated in this event.
