  • Czech Republic: Chinese Political Prisoner Zhao Ming and Human Rights Defender David Kilgour in Prague

    Two significant guests came to the Municipal Library in Prague at the beginning of May. One of the two personally went through the Chinese labour camp system where prisoners of conscience are detained, the second introduced to the Czech people his revised report into allegations of organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China.
  • Norway: Demonstration at the Chinese Embassy in Oslo

    Despite pouring rain, practitioners in Norway held a peaceful protest outside the Chinese Embassy in Oslo on June 1st. They demonstrated against organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and at the same time showed their support for the 22 million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party.
  • Latvian Version of the Book Falun Gong Officially Published

    In May 2007, on the eve of World Falun Gong Day, the Latvian version of the book Falun Gong [the introductory text to the practice of Falun Dafa] was officially published and now it is available in book stores throughout Latvia. Falun Gong has been translated into nearly a dozen languages. Currently there are hundreds of millions of people in eighty plus countries practising Falun Gong, which is considered to be the most popular and widespread qigong practice.
  • Czech Republic: Truth Compassion Forbearance Art Exhibition in Prague.

    On May 1st, Labour Day, a rally called “May 1st without Communism” took place in the Czech capital Prague. The intention of the event was to expose the real nature of the world's communist regimes. The Confederation of Political Prisoners and a “T-shirt against Communism” initiative was a feature of the rally.
  • Sweden: "Everybody Should Try to Stop this Evil Atrocity"

    In Stockholm, practitioners let people know about the practice and the eight year persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP. Athough it was hard work, practitioners were happy to see so many people understand that Falun Gong being is persecuted and recognise the evil nature of the CCP.
  • Switzerland: Introducing Falun Gong in the City of Neuchatel

    On June 2nd, over twenty Swiss practitioners from other cities came to Neuchatel again and set up a stall in the city centre to inform people about the benefits of practising Falun Gong and to reveal the Communist Party’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. They distributed leaflets, demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, answered people’s questions and collected signatures.
  • Falun Gong Experience Sharing Conference Held in Ukraine

    On June 3rd, 2007, a three day Falun Gong Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was held in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. A dozen or so practitioners from various regions shared their experiences. During the conference, practitioners held a vigil to protest against the CCP's eight years of persecution.
  • Dnevni Avaz (Bosnia and Herzegovina) Newspaper Reports on the Activities in Sarajevo for World Falun Dafa Day

    "The practitioners of this discipline claim that by practising the Falun Gong exercises one can achieve improvement to one's health, reduce stress and that one can also gain inner peace and harmony. It also allows the practitioner to obtain better concentration and increases mental capacity ... The demonstration of the exercises actually represented a peaceful appeal and to publicise the brutal persecution suffered by Falun Gong practitioners in China."
  • Finland: Expressing Support for the Twenty-Two Million Chinese People Withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party

    The Finnish Service Centre for Quitting the CCP held an activity to express support for the 22 million withdrawals from the CCP. Many people passing on that day accepted the Epoch Times newspaper's editorial "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" and a special issue regarding the 20 million withdrawals from the CCP.
  • The Third Holland, Belgium and Luxemburg Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference Held

    The third HBL Falun Dafa experiences sharing conference was held in the capital of Belgium, Brussels. The practitioners, with all their hearts, arranged the conference site and created a dignified and harmonious setting. Eleven Chinese and Western practitioners shared their experience of cultivation and raising awareness about the persecution.
  • Germany: People of Munich Condemn the CCP's Tyranny

    On May 20th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners held activities in Munich to support the twenty-two million people who have quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The event attracted a great number of spectators, including quite a few tourists and visitors from China. Some expressed a desire to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations on the spot.
  • Sweden: The People of Sweden Condemn the CCP's Brutality and Support Falun Gong with their Actions

    In order to tell the world the truth about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and the CCP’s brutal act of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for huge profits, some Falun Gong practitioners living in Stockholm have taken to the streets and started to tell the truth to the people face to face and to gather signatures condemning the persecution of Falun Gong.
  • Germany: Small Town of Halle-Saale Happily Greets Falun Dafa Practitioners

    Practitioners held activities to expose the facts about the persecution in China to people in Halle-Saale, a small town in Germany with a long history. Petitions calling for putting an end to the persecution and urging the Chinese Communist regime to release the illegally detained Falun Gong practitioners Wang Xiaoyan and Jiang Renzheng were filled one after another.
  • The German President Talks about Human Rights with his Counterpart Hu Jingtao in Beijing

    On May 24th, 2007, during the second day of the German President Horst Koehler’s first visit to China, he had a closed door talk with the Chinese President Hu Jintao for over one hour in which he mentioned China’s unsatisfactory human rights situation to his counterpart. According to a member of the entourage, when meeting with Hu Jintao, Koehler stressed that every political regime needs its people’s trust, and that the respect for human rights can strengthen its people’s trust in the government. He also recounted that during Hu’s visit to Berlin in November 2005 they had already touched upon this topic and made it public at the press conference in Berlin.
  • Germany: Letting the People of Stuttgart Know about Falun Dafa and the Persecution Taking Place in China

    On May 19th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Stuttgart, southern Germany, held a Falun Dafa Information Day. It was the final day of Germany's football first-class league matches, football fans around the country swarmed into Stuttgart, during a very short few hours; tens of thousands of people heard the truth of Falun Gong.
