The Italian NGO Nessuno Tocchi Caino (Hands off Cain) pointed out in its report of investigation into the frequency of world death penalties published on August 30th 2007: Dictatorship destroys its enemies by using the death penalty. The report gave coverage to the persecution of religions and groups of spiritual movement, such as the persecution of Falun Gong happening in China, the CCP organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners, and the CCP persecution of Buddhists, Christians and Catholics.

“I know Chinese people are smart and wise. Let me make an analogy: I think the communist autocracy can be considered as a virus, and since it is a virus, it will keep spreading and aggravate if you don’t curb it.” He continued, “I am confident that people as wise as the Chinese will find a good remedy to wipe out the virus.”

The “Human Rights Torch Relay”, organised by the CIPFG (Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China) to raise global awareness of human rights in China, arrived in the Czech Republic’s capital Prague on September the 6th, 2007 via Berlin and Munich. The Torch Relay has received widespread support from all circles in the Czech Republic.

It was a beautiful summer’s day in Cambridge for the Cherry Hinton Festival. This festival is an annual celebration for families in the local community with a history that harkens back to the days of celebrating a successful harvest. Local practitioners took part in the festival this year with calligraphy and demonstrations of the Falun Gong exercises.

When residents of Sunching in Regensburg celebrated their annual Village Festival (Volksfest), local Falun Gong practitioners took the opportunity to raise awareness about Falun Gong. Falun Gong practitioners in Regensburg set up a booth and placed the display boards on the ground early in the morning. Local people were shocked by the inside stories about the Chinese Communist regime’s harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners’ bodies.

Falun Gong practitioners gathered at a busy square in central Oslo and exhibited display boards depicting Falun Gong’s spread across the world, as well as the persecution perpetrated by the Chinese Communist regime in China. They also distributed leaflets in various languages and demonstrated the five Falun Gong exercises.

During the Firework Festival in Helsinki, when the city was filled with visitors, Falun Gong practitioners held a candlelight vigil on the lawn in front of the parliament building to mourn their fellow 3,080 practitioners who have been persecuted to death in China since Jiang Zemin’s evil group instigated the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999.

On September 1st, 2007 Falun Gong practitioners held a grand parade in the Norwegian capital city of Oslo to celebrate the 25 million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its associated organizations. Many onlookers and passers-by were greatly shocked to learn about the CCP's organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

In August, Irish Falun Gong practitioners attended the 2007 Festival of World Cultures in Dun Laoghaire and celebrated the ancient Chinese tradition of cultivation in various forms. They demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and performed traditional Chinese dances.

Falun Gong practitioners held activities at the Moscow business centre to expose the Chinese communist regime’s persecution against Falun Gong practitioners during the past eight years. Some practitioners also distributed material on Kutuzov Avenue nearby where a lot more tourists and cars were encountered. Most people accepted the material happily.

We set up our booth in the centre of Düsseldorf, hoping to tell the locals all that goes on in China’s labour camps. We wanted people to know how people in China were persecuted and tortured. Many people stopped in front of the large banners that told of the secret death camps in China and appeared to be deeply shaken by the pictures.

On August 25th and 26th,, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Holland used display boards to introduce Falun Gong and expose the Chinese communist regime’s persecution, including organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, in Rotterdam's central square. They set up information boards depicting the persecution of Falun Gong

On August 25th and 26th, 2007, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Falun Gong practitioners in Sweden made use of the two day holiday to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises at the famous Vasa Museum in Stockholm. In the meantime, they also set up display boards to let tourists from various places around the world learn the facts about Falun Gong.

Russian Falun Gong practitioners' activities in St. Petersburg every Saturday have been ongoing for several years. On three consecutive Saturdays, practitioners hosted a series of activities in several municipal parks to introduce Falun Gong and expose the Chinese communist regime’s brutal persecution against practitioners in China to local residents.

On August 18th and 19th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners used their weekend to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the persecution to tourists from all over the world. They disclosed the CCP's atrocity of removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and exposed the cruel persecution of Falun Gong which has lasted for over eight years.

From July 20th to the 25th, 2007, Turkish Falun Gong practitioners visited Selcuk in North Eastern Turkey, to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the Chinese communist regime’s persecution. They talked to people in many different sections of society, including journalists, local businessmen and government workers.

On August 24th, 2007, German members of the CIPFG (Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China) wrote a letter to Chancellor Angela Merkel, who will visit China soon. In the letter, they urged Mrs. Merkel to help to end the persecution of the Chinese communist regime against Falun Gong and pass along the CIPFG’s letters to China’s president Hu Jintao and the premier Wen Jiabao. Falun Gong practitioners in Switzerland returned to a busy shopping street in Zurich to spend a day exposing to local people the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist regime, which has lasted over eight years.Tourists from all over the world could also find leaflets in their own native languages at the information stand.

On August 14th, 2007, a one-week Cultural Festival was held in Gothenburg, the second biggest city in Sweden. The centre of the Cultural Festival was held in a park. Practitioners took part and the demonstration of Falun Gong exercises and instruction of the exercises interested many adults and children.

On August 18th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners and volunteers from the 'Quitting the CCP Service Centre' in Finland held an activity at Esplanadi Park in the centre of Helsinki to expose the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and protest against the CCP's eight year long persecution of Falun Gong in China, as well as support the 25 million wihdrawals from the CCP.

The annual Irish Rose Festival is held in Tralee, an important town in the Southwest of Ireland, in late August every year. Irish Falun Gong practitioners took advantage of this opportunity to help more people know the fact about the magnificence of Falun Gong and the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

In the weeks before the 131st Richard Wagner Festival, visitors from around the world were able to practitioners' photo exhibition on the “Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party” and on the Chinese Communist regime's crimes involving harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Many signed the petition condemning the persecution as a result.

On August 14th 2007, the week-long Cultural Festival began in Sweden’s second largest city, Gothenburg. Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises and taught them for free in the Botanical Gardens, where most of the celebration activities were held. The exercise teachings attracted a lot of adults and children alike.

On the evening of August 24th 2007, invited by the organizers of the "Night of Art" in Helsinki, Falun Gong practitioners participated in an activity held in the Kannelmakeen Library. Practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, performed a dance called "Lotus Flower" and distributed Falun Gong materials and beautiful paper lotus flowers to the audience.

In order to let more people learn about the beauty of Falun Gong and the brutality of the persecution happening in China, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in Freiburg. After they found out how innocent Falun Gong practitioners are cruelly persecuted, many people signed the petition to condemn the atrocities.

All who saw the exhibition shared the same feelings: they were strongly impressed by the beautiful art and condemned the persecution. Many people signed the petition calling for end to the persecution in China and thanked the practitioners for having the courage to organise such a remarkable exhibition. They said they would recommend it to their friends.

Practitioners handed out fliers and newspapers to on-lookers. People were very keen to read the information. Because it happened during the performance, they looked at the performers with a great sense of pity when they learnt about the Chinese communist regime’s inhumane torture and organ harvesting against their fellow Chinese people, practitioners of Falun Gong.

On August 26th 2007, the UK Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference was held in London. Practitioners from all parts of the country attended the meeting. Heartfelt words of self criticism were well received. Many shed tears and applauded enthusiastically. The atmosphere of the conference was solemn and peaceful.

In August every year, Austrians celebrate the Salzburg Festival, which is the most famous artistic festival in Europe. Practitioners held a Falun Dafa Information Day activity to expose the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of practitioners over the past eight years and introduce the magnificence of Falun Dafa.

Russian Falun Gong practitioners distributed the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and the blank form for the Chinese people to declare their withdrawal from the CCP and its affiliated organizations to almost every Chinese person in the urban areas and farm villages as well as those in tourist attractions and paddy fields.

Every Saturday during July and August, practitioners in Florence gathered at the Piazza S. Croce and Piazza Repubblica to tell local people and tourists about Falun Gong and the brutal organ harvesting campaign being waged against practitioners by the Chinese communist regime.

Several people asked the same question: “Don’t you think that holding the Olympics could change the human rights situation in China?” But as soon as they heard that the organ harvesting on living Falun Gong practitioners is still happening, although it was revealed one year ago, people changed their minds and signed the petition immediately.

Austrian practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and were interviewed on a nationwide news programme broadcast on August 17th. TV station ORF (NOE) carried the broadcast, which was a great introduction to Falun Dafa.

At 11am on August 25th, the Human Rights Torch Relay arrived at the main stadium of the Olympic Centre in Munich for its opening ceremony. The event focused on China's human rights atrocities and demands to stop the persecution of Falun Gong and other groups. The relay started in Athens and passed through Berlin before coming to Munich. Mr. Nehring from west Germany had an opportunity to lead the Torch Relay, running with the torch in hand. He said, "The International Olympic Committee is obligated to select a host country safeguarding human rights and should treat China in the same way. If Chinese people are tortured and killed, and their organs are being harvested against their will, the Games should not be held in Beijing.

On August 14th 2007, the annual six-day Cultural Festival kicked off in Gothenburg. The demonstration of the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and free exercise teaching were held in the Botanical Garden, where most of the celebration activities were held. They attracted the attention of many adults and children alike.

On August 7th 2007, two Falun Gong practitioners took advantage of a brief holiday to promote Falun Gong and explain the facts about the persecution to officials and the general public in Canakkale City, a famous tourist attraction in Turkey. On the first day, practitioners visited the provincial government to tell officials in various departments about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Upon learning the facts about the inhumane persecution launched by the Chinese Communist regime, the officials were shocked and infuriated.

Falun Gong practitioners in Gothenburg are usually outside the Consulate regularly to request an immediate end to the brutal persecution that practitioners in China are facing. On July 20th, there was a larger gathering because it was eight years to the day since the brutal persecution was initiated by the Chinese Communist Party.

The peaceful music made many people unwilling to leave. A young lady who was a volunteer of the Red Cross excitedly cried out when seeing the Falun Dafa display, "It's great! I'm looking for you. I have known Falun Gong for years. Now I'm more and more interested in Falun Gong. I want to practise the exercises and know the principles of Falun Gong. Would you please tell me how to be a Falun Gong practitioner?" Practitioners told her about the exercises and how to download Zhuan Falun (the main text of Falun Gong practice). She left but turned back to have a long talk with one practitioner. "I don't want to leave at all."

This day, the park was crowded with foreign tourists and local people. The Falun Gong practitioners distributed leaflets and put up banners and posters to demonstrate to people the horrifying persecution that practitioners in China have suffered for the past eight years for their belief in “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”. Many people signed the petition.

The Human Rights Torch Relay, started by the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG), reached Berlin on August 18th 2007. A ceremony was held at Olympic Square, and many human rights activists attended. Attendees condemned the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and called for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong.

From July 28th to August 4th 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in St. Petersburg held activities in the busy streets near Prospekt Bol’shevikov and Chernaya Rechka metro stations to introduce the beauty of Falun Gong and to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution and its atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

North German practitioners organised an information day in downtown Hamburg to commemorate eight years of persecution against Falun Gong. Practitioners set up a booth under a brilliant blue sky and sunshine. At the same time, the first interested people stopped by to see the photos exposing the torture used against practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party.

As soon as the exhibits were set up, many people came to ask, “What is Falun Gong?” “Why is Falun Gong persecuted?” Having learned the truth, many commented that it was grossly unjust to suffer such torture simply for not giving up on one’s beliefs. People eagerly signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution.

Because many Westerners do not know how severe the human rights situation in China is, practitioners in Germany frequently hold Information Day events to raise awareness of the Chinese Communist regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong. On July 28th, practitioners held an event of this kind in downtown Dusseldorf to let more people know.

As soon as the band turned started playing, they immediately attracted attention in all directions from a large number of people. They were cheerfully watching and enjoying the performance including some Chinese revealing gladness in their eyes. People accepted leaflets about Falun Gong and postcards introducing the band.

Falun Gong practitioners went from all over Northern Germany to demonstrate against the eight years of persecution suffered by their fellow practitioners in China. They demanded an immediate end to the persecution of innocent people whose only desire is to be able to practise the Falun Gong exercises and to live according to their spiritual beliefs.

Many politicians and VIPs accepted leaflets from the practitioners, including German Chancellor Merkel, the incoming governor of Bavaria, the Minister of Ministry of Interior, the EU President, the former German Foreign Minister, the former Mayor of Bayreuth and leaders of all political parties. Some asked for two copies, saying that the extra one was for their friends.

On August 4th 2007, Helsinki Falun Gong practitioners held an activity outside the central railway station to call for the rescue of the parents of Helsinki Chinese student Sunny and to expose the eight year persecution that the Chinese Communist Party has inflicted on Falun Gong practitioners. Sunny’s parents were kidnapped by the Chinese Communist Party.

On 5th August 2007 the annual Edinburgh Festival Cavalcade was staged once again in the UK. The Falun Gong group, which was formed by UK Falun Gong practitioners and the European Divine Land Marching Band, gained warm applause from the crowds all the way. This is the sixth time UK Falun Gong practitioners have taken part in this parade.

Practitioners from Sweden did the exercises together, sent forth righteous thoughts and raised awareness about the persecution near the famous Shipwreck Museum in Stockholm. At the same time, they also told people about the tide of quitting the CCP resulting from the circulation of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party
