On April 25th eight years ago, over 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners peacefully appealed to the Chinese State Council’s Appeal Office in Beijing, requesting the Chinese Communist government to release the Falun Gong practitioners who had been illegally arrested in Tianjin and to allow Falun Gong practitioners to practice the Falun Gong exercises in public places.

On April 21st and 22nd, over ten human rights organizations including the Epoch Times and the Service Center for Quitting the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) held large scale activities supporting the 20 million brave people who quit the CCP and its associated organizations. April 25th, 2007, is the eight anniversary of the April 25th Appeal in Beijing. UK Falun Gong practitioners held a protest activity at the Chinese Embassy in London and a candlelight vigil to mourn the mainland China practitioners who have been persecuted to death by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Practitioners called for an end to the persecution.

| Senior Chinese Communist Party Official Wu Guanzheng Sued for his Involvement in Persecuting Falun Gong [27.04.2007] |
On the morning of April 17th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners filed a lawsuit against Wu Guanzheng for the crimes of genocide and torture. Wu, a member of the Standing Committee of China’s Communist Party Politburo and Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Chinese Communist Party, is currently visiting Spain. Wu Guanzheng was the Party Chief of Shandong Province between 1997 and November 2002. During this period, Wu was directly involved in carrying out Jiang Zemin’s order to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. |

| Austria: Commemorating the April 25th Appeal [27.04.2007] |
On April 25th, 2007, Austrian Falun Gong practitioners held a candlelight vigil at the Chinese Consulate in Vienna to commemorate the peaceful appeal by ten thousand people eight years ago in Beijing. They had come to request the release of arrested Falun Gong practitioners. At that time, the Chinese Premier had a conversation with representatives of the practitioners and the problem seemed resolved. Then Falun Gong practitioners dispersed peacefully and quietly.

| Holland: European Celestial Band Leads the Way During an Annual Parade [25.04.2007] |
On April 21st, 2007, the 60th 'Great Flower Vehicle Parade' was held in Holland, with this year's theme being ‘‘Joyful Celebration’’. The 'Celestial Band', a marching band consisting of European Falun Gong practitioners, walked at the front of the parade, leading the way with a piece of music specially composed by Falun Gong practitioners. Forty vehicles took part in the whole parade, and they proceeded slowly to warm applause from the gathered crowds.

The Chinese regime has officially denied the recent disclosure about organ harvesting and says that "nobody will believe this absurd lie". The Nazis also claimed the same about their camps. In 1943 a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in the US refused to believe information from a polish diplomat about the Holocaust, saying: "I did not say that the young man lies. I said I was unable to believe what he told. There is a difference."

Germany’s ruling Christian Democrats Union (CDU) called on the Chinese communist regime to allow independent international organisations to conduct an investigation into allegations of trading human organs. The statement pointed out that the Chinese Communist regime has long been criticised for harvesting organs from criminals awaiting execution without consent. What’s more, it even persecuted Falun Gong practitioners by means of harvesting their organs when they were still alive. |

In a reply to Falun Gong practitioners’ letter, the German Christian Democratic Federation Parliament party and the corps of human rights issues spokesperson Ms. Steinbach mentioned that on March 29th, 2007, two Canadian independent investigators and a few members of the International Human Rights Committee held a hearing of witnesses in the German Parliament, the persons who are in charge of the German Parliament Human Rights Committee are very worried about the fact that living Falun Gong practitioners are selected for the removal of their organs. |

Some Italian Falun Gong practitioners held a protest at the Russian Embassy in Rome and Russian Consulate in Milan on the 3rd and 5th of April, in protest against the Russian authorities’ deportation of Falun Gong practitioner Ma Hui and her daughter. | United Kingdom: VIPs and Media Call for Wenjian Liang to be Released [17.04.2007] |
Wenjian Liang and her husband Zhiyong Lin were taken from their home in February together with six other Falun Gong practitioners. They were sentenced to two years in a labour camp without trial in March. Amnesty International issued an urgent action call about their case on March 20th. In the UK, the Liberal Democrat Party Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs and Shadow Foreign Secretary gave his moral and active support to the free Wenjian campaign.

On April 4th, 2007, the Falun Dafa Association of France, the French Service Center for Quitting the CCP (Chinese Communist Party), and Chinese people living in Paris held a rally in front of the Chinese Embassy in Paris to "Support 20 Million Withdrawals from the CCP." During the rally, participants used an amplifier to broadcast their prepared statements and speeches to the embassy staff, telling them that doomsday has come for the CCP.

On April 14th, 2007, a group of Finnish practitioners went to the central railway station to tell people that the CCP has never stopped the horrible persecution of Falun Gong. | Denmark: The Twinning of Aarhus in Denmark and Harbin in China - Chinese Ambassador Intervenes [15.04.2007] |
Heilongjiang is the province with the second highest death toll among thirty provinces. One third of the deaths took place in the provincial capital, Harbin. There are large quantities of concrete testimonies from the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong with specific dates, times and locations in which the persecution was perpetrated, as well as names of perpetrators and witnesses. 500 pages of testimonies tell of atrocities, which include shocking Falun Gong practitioners with electric batons, force-feeding them with human excrement and various other cruel torture methods. The brutality is beyond imagination. |

They called on the Chinese people to recognise the evil nature of the CCP.

On March 31st, 2007, Chinese people living in Sweden held a rally in front of the Chinese Embassy in Stockholm to support the 20 million Chinese who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They made speeches and read out their messages to the Chinese Embassy with a loudspeaker, urging staff to quit the CCP.

| Ukraine: The Chinese Communist Party’s Ruthless Conduct Shocks the Ukrainian People [11.04.2007] |
When practitioners informed people that two days earlier, due to pressure from the CCP, the Russian authorities deported a Chinese Falun Gong practitioner and her eight-year-old daughter to China, even though they held the status of international refugees, they were indignant. After hearing about this injustice, many of them signed a petition calling for the mother and daughter to be rescued from China as soon as possible.

Just as they had in previous cities, many people in Vsetín rushed to sign the practitioners' petition calling for an end to the persecution after hearing about the suffering inflicted on Falun Gong practitioners in China by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In the early spring, Salzburg is especially beautiful. Tourists are attracted from all over the world. The peaceful demonstration of the Falun Gong exercises and the beauty of the city formed a sharp contrast with the pictures exposing the CCP’s atrocities. Where can I sign?” A woman asked, after a practitioner recounted a testimony of a Chinese surgeon's ex-wife in which her husband was ordered to remove more than 2,000 corneas from innocent Falun Gong practitioners in two years and the bodies were cremated after other organs were also removed. The woman's face showed fear and agony. After she signed the petition, her two boys said that they wanted to sign. Before they left, they expressed their best wishes: “We wish you success! Thank you!” |

"It is our obligation to condemn these crimes," said Mr. Saman from India. After seeing the photos exposing the CCP's crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, he signed his name on the petition form without any hesitation. He also told the reporter that people should not ignore these crimes and that it is everyone's obligation to condemn the CCP.
