| France: NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular Shown at the Palais des Congres de Paris [27.02.2007] |
On the afternoon of February 24th 2007, the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular was held at the Grand Amphitheatre of the Palais des Congres de Paris. The world art capital was moved by this grand presentation of Chinese traditional culture. The wonderful performance won acclamations from the nearly four thousand spectators."Mr. Aung Ko said, "Today's performance includes everything - human rights, freedom, and art."

| United Kingdom: Letting More Aberdeen People know about the Persecution Against Falun Gong [27.02.2007] |
In order to raise people’s awareness and attention to the persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Helen went to Aberdeen on 21st February 2007. This was one stop on her journey around Scotland to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong through talking about her own experiences.

| France: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to Chinese New Year’s Parade in Noisy Le Grand [24.02.2007] |
On February 17th 2007, Falun Gong practitioners participated in the Chinese New Year’s Parade in Noisy Le Grand, a suburb of Paris, under invitation from the city. After the parade reached its destination – the Community Centre – practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Some visitors asked to learn the exercises right after the demonstration.

| Finland: Collecting Petition Signatures and Exposing the CCP’s Organ Harvesting Atrocities [24.02.2007] |
Practitioners from Helsinki displayed banners, photos and posters on the pavement in front of Helsinki train station to expose the Chinese Communist regime’s seven years of persecution against Falun Gong in China. They particularly wanted to raise the awareness about the atrocities of harvesting organs from living practitioners and selling them to transplant seekers.

| European Falun Gong Divine Land Marching Band Performs in Berlin [24.02.2007] |
On February 10th 2007, when the European Falun Gong Divine Land Marching Band made its debut on Berlin’s Unter den Linden, the magnificent resounding music attracted a lot of people’s attention. The band, consisting of one hundred and fifty Falun Gong practitioners from about twenty European countries, was established in October 2006.

From January 20th to 27th and on February 3rd 2007, practitioners in St. Petersburg held activities to raise awareness about the persecution against Falun Gong in China, exposing the Chinese Communist Party’s crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. People were shocked by the CCP’s crimes.

| Russia: Promoting Falun Gong in the City of New Siberia [22.02.2007] |
On the evening of the 10th of February 2007, four Falun Gong practitioners from Tomsk in Russia drove to the nearby city of New Siberia to distribute material to local Chinese people. From 1st of April 2007, foreign retailers will be completely banned from trading in Russia. With this in mind, practitioners in Tomsk wanted to deliver the latest edition of The Epoch Times into their hands before the Chinese went home for the New Year en mass. They would learn the latest news about quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliate associations. These precious Chinese people were given yet another chance to learn the truth and to withdraw from the evil party. |

| Germany: European Practitioners Hold a Grand Parade in Berlin Against the Persecution [21.02.2007] |
Falun Gong practitioners from European countries held a grand parade, calling on people to pay attention to the continuous persecution of Falun Gong in China, expressing support for eighteen million brave people who quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and disclosing the CCP's organ harvesting crimes.

| Russia: Raising Awareness about the Persecution at a Large-Scale Ski Tournament [20.02.2007] |
On February 11th, a large-scale ski tournament was held in Siberia’s Irkutsk city. Several Falun Gong practitioners went to the ski resort and distributed fliers to tens of thousands of people, letting them know what Falun Gong is and about how the practice is being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party.

On January 27th, a group of Falun Gong practitioners in Stockholm and some volunteers from Swedish branches of the CCP Withdrawal Centre held an activity in Victory Square in the city centre. They exposed the CCP harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, encouraging the public to stop the unprecedented atrocity happening in China now.

The Latvian Clear Harmony website is one of the 18 language versions of the European Falun Dafa website. It is published voluntarily by Falun Gong practitioners. The aim is to reveal the facts about Falun Gong, to give readers first hand information about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and to display the voices of support for Falun Gong.

| Germany: Falun Gong Practitioner Presents a Petition to the Presidents of Germany and Italy [18.02.2007] |
On February the 9th 2007, German Federal President Mr. Horst Kohler returned to his alma mater, the University of Tübingen. A Falun Gong practitioner studying at the University presented the German President with a petition calling for an end to the Chinese communist regime’s persecution of Falun Gong. The president repeatedly said “thank you.” When the Italian president looked at what was going on with curiosity, the practitioner also presented him the report on the investigation into the Chinese communist regime’s harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and other related material in Italian. |

| Germany: European Divine Land Marching Band Displays Its Elegant Demeanour in Berlin [16.02.2007] |
This was the first time for the European Divine Land Marching Band composed of Falun Gong practitioners to make its appearance in Berlin. The melody of "Falun Dafa is Good" and the banners reading "Stop Persecuting Falun Gong" informed people of the theme of the parade, and also inspired people's concern over the human rights issues in China.

On the 3rd of February 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Ukraine organised an activity in the city of Khmelnytskyi to expose the Chinese Communist regime’s atrocity of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. When practitioners arrived at the activity site, many people gathered around even before they finished setting up their banners and display boards.

Practitioners talked to the public about the ongoing brutal persecution of Falun Gong. They also handed out flyers and collected petition signatures. After learning the truth, an English lady said: “How could they persecute you like this? What has the British government done? You should write to Tony Blair and Gordon Brown and let them know about this persecution.”

Falun Gong practitioners in Belgium gathered in front of the Singapore Embassy to protest the Singapore government’s unreasonable trial of six practitioners on the charge of "assembly without a permit". Practitioners in Munich's Marienplatz Square campaigned to support 18 million people withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party, drawing the attention of locals and tourists alike. People read the posters that exposed the persecution of Falun Gong. They were shocked at what the CCP are doing, especially with regard to harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

| Sweden: Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition in Motala [11.02.2007] |
From the 23rd to the 28th of January, people in Motala could see a section of the “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition”. Two local newspapers and a Radio Station went to report on the exhibition. There were also three art classes from the upper secondary school who were brought there by their teachers.

"Due to the international pressure, the CCP have hidden their methods of persecution. On the surface, you don’t have any physical injury, but the mental torture is far more severe than the physical torture. Physical injury can be cured by medicine, but the injury to your soul can never be cured... The most evil thing is they take organs from living Falun Gong practitioners."

On the weekend of January 13th & 14th, in the town of Skierniewice and the city of Warsaw, a group of Falun Gong practitioners organised activities to let local people know about Falun Gong and the persecution in China by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Polish practitioners were joined by practitioners from other European countries.

Every January, the World Economic Forum is held in Davos. Since 2003, Falun Gong practitioners have gone there every year to tell people about the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) cruel persecution against Falun Gong. The annual retreat for practitioners throughout Germany took place from the 27th to the 30th of December 2006. Although many people were busy with important activities, more than 150 practitioners participated. | Sweden: Lerum City Marks the Fifth Anniversary of Falun Gong Day [06.02.2007] |
Falun Gong practitioners from Lerum City gathered in the square at the train station to mark the fifth anniversary of Lerum City’s Falun Gong Day by demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises and explaining the facts about the persecution in China to the general public. They also held the “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance Painting Exhibition” at a city gallery.

| United Kingdom: The Story of an Award-Winning Chinese Student at Manchester University [04.02.2007] |
In the autumn of 2003, Sammie, a Chinese girl, was admitted to Manchester University. She was only sixteen then and had lived in the UK for only a year and a half. Before arriving in the UK, Sammie and her mother had begun to practise a traditional method of self-cultivation in China called Falun Gong. Although Sammie and countless other Chinese people from all walks of life benefited enormously from the practice, the CCP banned Falun Gong in 1999.

| Slovakia: Practitioners Appeal for an Investigation into the Persecution of Falun Gong [03.02.2007] |
On February 2nd, practitioners gathered at a government building in Bratislava. They intended to ask the Prime Minister to bring up the issue of human rights and the persecution of Falun Gong during his visit to China on the 5th. The practitioners also submitted to the government an official petition with more than 3,000 signatures, asking for an end to the persecution.

Falun Gong practitioners showed the film "Sandstorm" in two cities. The film exposes the Chinese Communist regime’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. A daily newspaper reported the activity and the article also mentioned the CCP's atrocity of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. The movie “Sandstorm” is an independent film produced in Canada, which depicts the torture and abuse suffered by a Falun Gong practitioner in China. This movie has received many prizes around the world. Falun Gong practitioners hope that by showing the movie, more people could learn about the persecution taking place in China. |

| The First Falun Dafa Conference in Siberia Held Successfully [31.01.2007] |
From the 3rd to the 7th of January 2007, Krasnoyarsk in Russia hosted the first Siberian Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference. Practitioners attended from various cities. Many participants met one another for the first time at the conference. Even though they did not know one another well, the atmosphere was warm and harmonious.

| Slovakia: Introducing Falun Gong to the People of Dunajska Streda [30.01.2007] |
Falun Gong practitioners visited the city of Dunajska Streda, a small town in south-west Slovakia. Although it was initially snowing heavily, gradually it stopped and passers-by would stop before practitioners performing the exercises to read information posters about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Many were concerned upon learning about the situation and took the initiative to sign the petition.

| Denmark: Practitioners Call on the Singaporean Authorities to Revoke the Unreasonable Charges against Practitioners [29.01.2007] |
Practitioners presented a letter from the Danish Falun Gong Association to the Singaporean Ambassador to Denmark, Arne Simonsen, to protest against the trial of six Falun Gong practitioners who are being prosecuted on the charge of assembly without a permit. They urgently called on the Singaporean government to revoke the illegal accusations.

The party concerned did not have an intention of breaking Singaporean law. In such a condition, as soon as the police pointed it out, the party concerned removed their banners and abided by the order. We feel it very difficult to understand why the court in Singapore insisted on seizing this point and striking Falun Gong practitioners without considering the outcome if they do not have any political factors behind them." |

| Finland: Finnish People Sign a Petition to Support Falun Gong Practitioners [27.01.2007] |
The volunteers and Falun Gong practitioners distributed leaflets exposing the CCP's crimes, its cruel persecution of Falun Gong and the atrocity of killing practitioners for their organs. After reading the leaflets and the posters displayed, some people requested more information and they said, ‘Thank you and well done’ to practitioners. Some asked if they could do anything to help. Many others signed the petition to support practitioners. |

| Slovakia: Welcoming the New Year at the Chinese Embassy in Bratislava [26.01.2007] |
The coming of the new year is a good reason for celebration, but for a few followers of Falun Gong at the Chinese Embassy in Bratislava it had a symbolic meaning. They welcomed the arrival of a New Year in peaceful meditation. Meditation has symbolic value at the Chinese Embassy because it is China that for seven years has persecuted followers of this spiritual system.

| Belgium: Lotus Flowers Blossom at the Hobby Market in Hasselt [25.01.2007] |
Practitioners took part in a Hobby Market in Hasselt. As well as demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises, practitioners wrote visitors' names in Chinese characters and held an activity in which people could sit together and fold paper lotus flowers. Both were extremely popular and provided an opportunity to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.

Groups representing the Finnish Service Centre for Quitting the CCP, The Epoch Times newspaper and Falun Gong came to Helsinki’s central train station. They came to support seventeen million Chinese people quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and exhibited photographs exposing the CCP’s tyranny in China.

| Switzerland: Event to Raise Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong [22.01.2007] |
On January 13th, Swiss practitioners held an Information Day at the Parade Platz in Zurich to let more people know about the on-going brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. In the past year or so, local practitioners have been holding events of this kind once a month. Many people learned about the benefits of practising of Falun Dafa as well as the ongoing brutal persecution happening in China. The practitioners will continue to hold events of this kind till the persecution is stopped. |

| Lanzhou Song and Dance Troupe Unwelcome in Europe [21.01.2007] |
I was told that the Lanzhou Song and Dance Troupe is going to perform in Europe. As the title of the show, “Grand Dream of Dunhuang Grotto” is very attractive, I was anxious to visit the Troupe’s website and did so with high expectations. On the website, I was shocked to find the highlighted caption: “Grand Dream of Dunhuang Grotto, an entirely different and anti-traditional dance drama.” As the historic story was thoroughly twisted, I was very disappointed after reading the introduction and I no longer wanted to see this anti-traditional “Grand Dream of Dunhuang Grotto.” |

| France: David Kilgour Raises Awareness about China’s Worsening Human Rights Situation at a Press Conference [19.01.2007] |
On January 11th, a seminar was held at the French Senate entitled “What Is Peace? How to Achieve Peace?” David Kilgour, former Canadian Secretary of State for Asia Pacific, delivered a speech at the seminar. He talked about many of China’s current human rights problems, stating that China’s human rights situation was deteriorating.

| Greece: Raising Awareness about the CCP's Crimes of Organ Harvesting in China among the People of the Villages of Pelion Mountain [18.01.2007] |
On December 27th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from different parts of Greece made a tour by car to the villages of Pelion Mountain. The aim was to expose the crimes of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners in China. We were moved and encouraged by people’s reactions and response after talking to us.

| Bulgaria: Premiere of the Sandstorm Movie Supported by the Helsinki Committee [17.01.2007] |
Bulgarian Falun Gong practitioners premiered the movie Sandstorm with support from the Bulgarian Helsinki Committee. Approximately ninety people filled the seats in the cinema hall and after the premiere some of the spectators signed the petition against the persecution of Falun Gong in China and wrote down their impressions of the film.

| France: The European Celestial Orchestra Makes its Debut [16.01.2007] |
From December 27th, 2006, to January 1st,2007, more than 160 European celestial orchestra members came from more than ten European countries and gathered in Paris in groups to take part in collective training for the first time. It made its debut in public for the first time as the European Celestial Orchestra when it performed at the Paris Parade Festival.

On Friday November 17th, just under a hundred human rights activists from the Czech Republic, as well as concerned people from all over the world traveled to Prague to take part in a rally and protest march. They brought attention to “large scale forcible organ harvesting” from the prisoners of conscience in China today.

On December 16th, 2006, practitioners from Kiev held an activity in Independence Square to let local people know about the Chinese Communist Party’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China. From December 15th to December 25th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners met in Ankara to study the principles of Falun Dafa and practise the Falun Gong exercises together. It was the ninth meeting of its kind and was attended by many people. Over one hundred and sixty copies of Zhuan Falun (the main text of Falun Dafa) in Turkish have been sold since December 2006

During the 2007 New Year break, Falun Gong practitioners in Russia and some practitioners from Ukraine, Czech Republic and Sweden held three days of activities in St Petersburg. They studied the principles of Falun Gong together, shared their cultivation experiences and organised activities to let people know the truth about Falun Gong.
