| Czech Republic: Peaceful Protest at the Chinese Embassy in Prague [11.01.2007] |
On New Year‘s Eve, a group of Falun Gong practitioners peacefully protested at the Chinese Embassy in Prague, in the Czech Republic. They reminded themselves and others of the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China, where thousands of practitioners are tortured to death or have their organs removed while still alive in Chinese prisons and labour camps.

| Minghui School Established in Germany [10.01.2007] |
A Minghui Elementary School was established and held from December 27th to 29th, 2006, in the city of Wetzlar. Students went to the school every day, where they studied the main text of Falun Dafa, Zhuan Falun, practised the Falun Gong exercises, learned how to paint the Falun emblem, practised a fairy dance and sang songs together.

| United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners Take Part in New Year’s Day Parade in London [09.01.2007] |
This year was the 21st New Year’s Day Parade in London and Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the festivities. Along the way of the parade, practitioners gave the spectators a New Year’s gift, an exquisite folded paper lotus flower. Introductory information about Falun Gong was printed on bookmarks attached to every flower.

| Hungary: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong During the New Year Festivities [08.01.2007] |
Practitioners from Hungary and Slovakia decided to spend the first of January, 2007, in Budapest’s Blaha Lujza Square, conducting an activity to expose the persecution of Falun Gong. They erected ifnormation boards with information about Falun Gong, the persecution and the Kilgour-Matas report on China’s harvesting of Falun Gong practitioner’s organs. Although the weather was rainy, many people came to read the information boards and happily took a flyer. |

| France: The 'Divine Land Marching Band' Performs in Paris [07.01.2007] |
On the last day of 2006 and the first day of 2007, the European Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of one hundred and sixty Falun Gong practitioners, performed in Paris. In four parades, the band's performance helped to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong in China and was met with a warm welcome wherever it went.

| Ukraine: Falun Gong Practitioners Call for an End to the Persecution on Human Rights Day in Duonietsk [06.01.2007] |
On December 10th, 2006, International Human Rights Day, Ukrainian practitioners held activities to expose the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution of Falun Gong. They talked with the local people about Falun Gong and the CCP human rights abuses, and also collected petition signatures for two Chinese practitioners in Ukraine who were seeking asylum.

| Hungary: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong During the Christmas Holidays [06.01.2007] |
Between Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, Hungarian Falun Dafa practitioners held activities in Budapest’s Blaha Lujza Square to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong. Practitioners took turns in demonstrating the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, which contrasted well with the scenes of persecution depcited on the information boards.

| Czech Republic: Independent Canadian Investigator Presents His Report About Organ Harvesting in Parliament [05.01.2007] |
“They take both of your kidneys, heart and skin, corneas and liver and then they throw your body in the incinerator.² Those are words of David Kilgour, the former member of the Canadian government, who with his colleague David Matas compiled report on illegal organ seizures from prisoners of conscience in China, namely from the practitioners of Falun Gong meditation discipline. On November 16th, David Kilgour reported his findings in the Czech Parliament.

| 2006 German Falun Gong Experience Sharing Conference Held in Wetzlar [04.01.2007] |
The 2006 German Falun Gong Experience Sharing Conference was held in the city of Wetzlar. Six Chinese and western practitioners shared their experiences. The conference helped practitioners to find out their cultivation shortcomings and to be clearer about the significance and urgency of being diligent in their cultivation.

On December 31st, 2006, the French Falun Gong Association held two grand parades. Through the performances of the Divine Land Marching Band and traditional-style Chinese dancers and drummers, Falun Gong practitioners not only showed local residents the magnificence of Falun Gong, but they also brought a happy surprise to them during the festival.

On December 10th, 2006, Austrian Falun Gong practitioners organised an activity in the famous tourist city of Salzburg to raise awareness about the horrible seven year persecution of Falun Gong practitioner by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Many passersby signed the petition condemning the persecution. |

On January 1st 2007, UK Falun Gong Practitioners were again invited to take part in London’s New Year’s Day Parade. This year, for a change, the weather was gloriously sunny and as a result, the streets from Whitehall to Mayfair were thronged with onlookers from all over the world. As usual, the reaction of the crowd was warm. Many people got to learn about Falun Gong and witnessed the beauty of the practice through this parade.

On December 9th 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Guadeloupe, an archipelago located in the eastern Caribbean Sea that is part of France, held activities in downtown Pointe-à-Pitre to expose the Chinese communist regime’s harvesting of organs from live Falun Gong practitioners and the subsequent sales of these organs for profit.

On December 10th, practitioners from Regensburg and surrounding cities went to a university to let the students know about Falun Gong, the seven years of persecution against the practice by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the peaceful forms of protest that practitioners have used to raise awareness about these human rights abuses.

On the 10th of December 2006, International Human Rights Day, Ukrainian practitioners held activities to reveal the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution of Falun Gong. Over the past seven years, the Chinese Communist Party has not only persecuted its own citizens – 100 million Falun Gong practitioners – with brutal and inhumane torture, but has also given orders through its Embassies to defame Falun Gong and to buy over other countries with financial interests so that these countries would keep silent over the issue of Falun Gong. |

On December 9th, the Norwegian China Human Rights Society organised a rally in Oslo to support the sixteen million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and also to mark World Human Rights Day. When the parade passed through the high street, passers-by all stopped to watch.

On November 26th, 2006, practitioners from Ukraine held activities in Donetsk to protest the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong. They told the Ukrainians about the atrocious persecution taking place in China with the hope of awakening kind people to fight this calamity together and to improve the human rights conditions in China as soon as possible.

Falun Dafa practitioners in Kramatorsk held an activity in the town centre on December 17th, 2006. They took the asylum application of two Chinese Falun Gong practitioners in the Ukraine as an opportunity to expose to the public the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong. They also collected signatures supporting an end to the persecution.

On November 22nd, 2006, Italy's Ansa News Agency reported that Mr Della Vedova, Italian MEP, invited Canada's former Secretary of State (Asia Pacific) and Member of Parliament David Kilgour to give a presentation in the press room of the Italian Parliament. Kilgour discussed the report he drafted with human rights lawyer David Matas after their independent investigation into allegations that the Chinese Communist regime harvests organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. |

On December 9th and 10th, 2006, Turkish Falun Gong practitioners gathered in the capital city Ankara and collected signatures on the busiest pedestrian street. They hoped to expose the CCP's evil conduct, and to appeal for an end to the persecution, as well as tell the Turkish people about the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong during the past seven years.

The temperature in Munich plummeted. An elderly lady stood transfixed, fascinated by the sight of Falun Gong practitioners sitting in a line in the freezing weather. “Beautiful. It’s so beautiful.” She sighed as she watched the practitioners demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises.

On International Human Rights Day, Italian practitioners held activities in Rome and Milan to raise awareness of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong in China. Many people were horrified to hear about the Chinese Communist Party's trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners and said they would write letters to their MPs to appeal to stop the persecution.

On December 5th, 2006, an international conference on the topic “The Media Opposes Terrorism and Extremism” was held in Ukraine. Three major topics were discussed: terrorism, extremism, and genocide. The conference also discussed how to prevent terrorism, as well as the co-operation between government and society to oppose terrorism together.

On December 9th and 10th, to coincide with the International Human Rights Day, Russian Falun Gong practitioners held a rally in Budyonnovsk, Stavropol to expose the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong which has lasted over seven years. People signed a petition to condemn the CCP and voice their support for Falun Gong practitioners.

| Austria: Lawsuit Filed Against the Chief Perpetrators of the Persecution of Falun Gong [20.12.2006] |
The Austrian Falun Gong Association and the International Society for Human Rights (IGFM) held a joint press conference on December 15th, 2006, in Landtmann, a well-known café in Vienna. They announced that a lawsuit has been filed against the chief perpetrators who were directly involved in the persecution of Falun Gong, including Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Li Lanqing, Liu Qi and some others. They are suspected of committing crimes of genocide and torture. |
