On Sunday August 13th, the Second Polish Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference was held in Warsaw, Poland’s capital city. The conference was a grand and magnificent occasion, attended by practitioners from eighteen different countries. After the conference, new Polish practitioners said that it was a very precious and important experience.

Between the 6th and the 13th of August, the European Atheletics Championship took place in Gothenburg. Swedish practitioners had an opportunity to reach many people and inform them about the persecution against Falun Gong, as well as the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) heinous practice of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

In order to let more British people know about the CCP's trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners, four UK Falun Gong practitioners carried out a car tour in York County. A few days before we started our tour, practitioners stayed up late day after day, preparing nearly one thousand letters, in order to arrange proper meetings.

In August, The Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance International Art Exhibition arrived in the famous city of Gent. This is the third time the exhibition has been held in Belgium. Bert Anciaux, the Minister of Culture expressed in his letter that he hoped the Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance International Art Exhibition would be a huge success.

The whole body of practitioners in Ireland would like to congratulate the establishment of the Ethiopian Falun Gong Association. We wish that fellow practitioners in Ethiopia can build upon the foundation of good Fa-study and do well the three things Master has told us to do. Cooperate with each other, cultivate oneself and at the same time save more sentient beings. Let the glory of Dafa illuminate throughout the land of Africa, bringing boundless brilliance and blessing to the people of Africa.

Local Falun Gong practitioners recently spent a day by the Volga River in the city of Kastroma. Some practitioners taught people how to make paper lotus flowers and chatted to them about the practice and the situation in China. They also erected posters and displays exposing the persecution, and the live organ harvesting in particular.

As soon as information boards and a surgery table for the reenacted harvest of organs from living victims were set up, people immediately came over to ask about it. Upon hearing the crimes committed by the CCP and that the CCP persecutes its own citizens, people were shocked and indignant, and many signed our petition to voice their support.

Falun Gong practitioners from St. Petersburg held an activity in Alexander Gardens, which attracted many visitors. Many were interested in the “World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance” banner and a photo exhibition organised by practitioners. People read the information boards carefully, took leaflets and chatted with practitioners.

2006 is the year of Dresden’s 800th anniversary celebration. A culture festival was held between July 21st and 23rd and was an important part of the 800th anniversary. Some of the visitors held deep discussions with the practitioners. Many signed a petition for the rescue of Falun Gong practitioner Wang Xiaoyan in China.

From the 1st to the 10th of August, 2006, the fourth Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance International Art Exhibition in Finland was held in Kannelmki Library in Helsinki. Some of the artists have been illegally detained and persecuted in Mainland China. Library staff became the first visitors and afterwards they all said the exhibition was very good.

The Bulgarian Helsinki Committee (BHC) supported Falun Gong practitioners in Bulgaria. This happened during a press conference organised on July 20th, 2006, marking seven years of the persecution of Falun Gong in China by the Communist regime. During the event Mrs. Juliana Metdieva, Editor-in-Chief of the BHC magazine “Objective”, gave a speech. She said that the persecution of Falun Gong is the cruelest crime. She added that Falun Gong is a unique way for people to live a harmonious, adequate and natural life.

July 2nd, 2006, was a scorching day. Many visitors that came to enjoy Dresden’s 800th birthday preferred shady areas. The temporary stage and the spectator area in the eastern section of the Zwinger were smack in the middle of the blazing sun. A small area that was lucky to get some shade from the baroque buildings was filled with people, while barely anyone stood in the sun drenched spectator area. Our European Falun Gong choir first stayed in the sun, but then also retreated to under the arches of the stairs in front of the Eastern exit.

On August 5th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners held a parade in Edinburgh to protest against organ harvesting and called for an end to the persecution of the practice in China. Falun Gong practitioners also collected signatures for the petition against the persecution on several street corners. Many people signed the petition and wished the practitioners good luck.

...Nevertheless, the elderly man did not stop his accusation but argued for the CCP’s narrow theory of nationalism. Two people in the crowd stood by his side and said some bad words. They even went up to snatch practitioners’ leaflets, tore them up and threw them on the ground. The police on duty took the two Chinese people aside, asked them questions, and recorded their names. The Falun Gong practitioners said after the event that these people had been poisoned too deeply by the CCP’s evil and extreme theory of so-called nationalism...

To mark the beginning of the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong in China, Falun Gong practitioners from Frankfurt held activities from July 20th until the 22nd at the Chinese Consulate and in the busy outdoor shopping area on Zeil Strasse in Frankfurt. Passers-by and visitors to the Consulate also received fliers and were asked to sign a petition to end the persecution. Many commented, “I can’t believe that this is happening in today’s world!”

On July 15th, 2006, some Czech Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises in Hodonin city to expose the CCP’s political persecution against Falun Gong. The crime of illegally harvesting and selling Falun Gong practitioners’ organs exposed recently especially attracted the local people’s attention. Many people signed to express their support saying, “How come these kinds of people exist? How come they do such things?"

On August 6th, 2006, Irish Falun Gong practitioners held a rally in the centre of Dublin, condemning the atrocity of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The activity captured the attention and support of many Irish people. Spectators carefully read the information about the persecution and organ harvesting on display boards.

On August 6th, UK Falun Gong practitioners participated in the cavalcade of the 30th Edinburgh International Festival. This was the fifth year in a row that Falun Gong practitioners have taken part. The Falun Gong section of the cavalcade included banners, a flag dancing formation, a float with exercise demonstrations and drum players.

Between the 6th and the 13th of August, the European Atheletics Championship is taking place in Gothenburg. The culture and entertainment event EC Party is happening at the same time and 200,000 people are expected to visit the city. These events have given Swedish practitioners an opportunity to inform many people about the persecution.

Belgian Falun Gong practitioners held activities in Chinatown, Brussels to support over a eleven million people quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and to expose the CCP’s crimes of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. In addition, a large-scale photo exhibition was displayed. The exhibited photos depicted Chinese Falun Gong practitioners being subjected to persecution.

The scene on July 22nd, 2006, was not an unusual one for the many passersby on Zurich's Parade Square. In this year alone, similar activities have been held seven times. Each time, many passersby had the opportunity to learn the facts of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. The strong contrast between the graceful exercises and the brutal persecution initially confused some people.

At the beginning of the suppression, Jiang Zemin issued an order to eradicate Falun Gong in 3 months. However, seven years have passed and practitioners inside and outside China have become more and more mature and steadfast during the course of their efforts to end the persecution. The persecution is doomed to fail and the CCP will collapse.

On July 20th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Austria held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese consulate in Vienna to protest the CCP(Chinese Communist Party)'s brutal persecution of Falun Gong. During the past 7 years, Falun Gong practitioners in China and overseas have been unceasingly revealing the situation to people all over the world.

Hamburg practitioners protested at the Chinese Consulate on July 20th to mark seven years of persecution by the Chinese Communist Party in China. Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, chatted to passersby about the background to the persecution and also attempted to deliver a letter in the hope that the Consulate staff would accept it.

In between July 20th and July 23rd, 2006, another annual Colours of Ostrava music festival took place. This cultural event is attended by thousands of people every year and Falun Gong practitioners have used this opportunity before to inform the festival‘s visitors about cruel crimes against humanity carried out by the Chinese Communist Party in its own country.

On July 20th, 2006, Italian Falun Gong practitioners organised various activities to mourn for the 2,920 Chinese practitioners persecuted to death by the Chinese Communist regime and to protest against the cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioner initiated by the Jiang Zemin group and the Chinese Communist regime since July 20th, 1999. Practitioners staged protests at the Chinese Consulates in Milan and Florence as well as the Chinese Embassy in Rome respectively. Many practitioners came all the way from various places, even several hundred kilometers away, to participate in these activities.

Practitioners exposed the 7-year persecution of Falun Gong beside the central train station in Helsinki on July 22nd. They re-enacted organ harvesting atrocities and displayed poster boards which depicted the situation in China. While some practitioners distributed leaflets, others chatted with passers-by and collected signatures.

On July 20th, 2006, Israeli Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition and photo exhibition on Rabin Square in Tel Aviv to protest the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong. Practitioners collected several hundred signatures against the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong. Some young Israelis also participated in the activity.

The conference, which opened at 10am, is part of a three-day long series of activities for Dafa practitioners in Ireland. These activities also include a parade, truth clarification activities in Dublin city centre, Fa study and experience sharing. More than fifty practitioners from Ireland and other parts of Europe attended.

The vile CCP has persecuted Falun Gong for seven years. On July 20th and July 22nd, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Frankfurt held activities in front of the Chinese Consulate and in a downtown shopping area to peacefully protest the against persecution. They also exposed the CCP’s inhuman trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Between June 26th and July 9th, 2006, a team of Irish Falun Gong practitioners launched a two week SOS car tour to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) atrocities of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. In the two weeks, practitioners visited fifteen counties across Ireland and met many kindhearted people.

A practitioner from Glasgow was asked by her husband to visit Scotland’s Western Isles with him as a holiday. At first this practitioner was reluctant to go as she was very busy, but after thinking about it, she realised that this was a rare opportunity. The practitioner thought that the people on these islands should know about the organ harvesting situation in China.

On July 20th, 2006, seven years after the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution against Falun Gong began, practitioners from Bavaria gathered in front of the Chinese consulate in Munich to protest the inhuman crimes committed by the CCP, in particular the trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Falun Gong practitioners in Frankfurt organised an activity to inform the public about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, in particular the forced removal of organs and torture. While some practitioners reenacted forced organ removal and torture in front of the grand old opera building in Frankfurt, others collected signatures from passersby.

Falun Gong practitioners and practitioners from other parts of Sweden held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Consulate General in Gothenburg. The Consul General Cui Jianchao had a farewell party, which meant that there were many visitors who came to the Consulate General, both Chinese and Swedish. Staff from the Consulate came out to take pictures.

Between July 10th and 14th, several Falun Gong practitioners traveled around the towns and cities of Kroměříž, Zlín, Přerov, Olomouc and Vsetín. Their goal was to inform local communities of the discriminatory practices of the Chinese communist government, which at present illegaly detains two million Falun Gong practitioners in Chinese prisons.

Falun Gong practitioners held an exhibition exposing the human rights condition in China.One after another people signed the petition calling for ending the persecution. Some talked with practitioners for a long time to get detailed information. In this bustling city, the truth about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of practitioners, in particular the trade in organs harvested from living victims, woke people up like a gust of chill wind.

On July 20th, 2006, Italian Falun Gong practitioners organised activities in all parts of Italy to mourn their fellow practitioners in China who had been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party to death and also to protest against the brutal persecution of Falun Gong launched on July the 20th 1999.

Former Canadian Congressman David Kilgour has collected much evidence, especially the confession from the ex-wife of a doctor involved in organ harvesting operations, which has alleged that over two thousand Falun Gong practitioners’ organs have been plundered. David Kilgour said, “They killed thousands of people for this trade. This practice is a crime against humanity. Even in the Nazi’s time, we did not see any crime as cruel as this crime against innocent Chinese citizens.”

On Friday July 14th, Falun Gong practitioners arrived in the town of Svitavy. Their banners, displayed inside an ancient archway, drew the attention of those who were passing by. That way, people of Svitavy could find out about the ancient meditation practice of Falun Gong and its ongoing persecution in China. Those who wished to protest against the persecution were encouraged to sign a petition. Other people were given leaflets with information on secret Chinese concentration camps where many Falun Gong practitioners have had their organs removed while they were still alive.

Falun Gong practitioners in the Czech Republic presented an open letter to the Chinese Ambassador to call on the Chinese Communist regime to put an end to the genocide against innocent citizens. In the evening, a candle-light vigil was held in condolence of their fellow practitioners being persecuted to death in mainland China.

Thousands of flyers and other information about the essence of Falun Gong, about the persecution in China and the continuing repression by the Communist regime against the practice, were given by Serbian and Bulgarian practitioners in the capital of Serbia, Belgrade. The event was held in front of the National Museum.

Falun Gong practitioners held a day long vigil to mark seven years since the start of the persecution of Falun Gong at the Chinese Embassy on Jannowitz Bridge, Berlin. Many people passing by accepted flyers with information about the organ removals from live Falun Gong practitioners in China and signed a petition to support Falun Gong.

Former Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) for Canada and senior MP, David Kilgour, was invited by Lord Thurlow, former UK diplomat, to hold a seminar in the Houses of Parliament on July 17th regarding the CCP’s trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners’ organs. The UK MPs who attended the seminar appealed to the UK government to take measures to stop the CCP’s atrocities. Mr. Kilgour introduced the attendees to the report he wrote in Canada, and answered questions raised by the MPs and media.

Mr. David Kilgour, the former Canadian Secretary of State, responsible for the Asian and Pacific region, gave a speech emphasised the importance of an end to the persecution. Mr. Kilgour and the Canadian human rights attorney David Matas committed to begin an investigation in China since the day the organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners was made known.

On the morning of July 20th, 2006, Dutch Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the Chinese Consulate. Practitioners displayed photos depicting the worldwide popularity of Falun Dafa and unfolded banners to condemn the Chinese Communist Party's atrocities against Falun Gong practitioners, in particular harvesting organs from living practitioners.

On the morning of July 20th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity on Montecitorio Square in front of Parliament to call for an end to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) seven-year-long persecution and to expose the CCP's organ removal from living Falun Gong practitioners. They distributed leaflets and talked with people about the situation.

At 5pm on July 20th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Paris, together with some pro-democracy activists and overseas Chinese held a protest at the Chinese Embassy in France to condemn the seven year persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP. They particularly condemned the CCP's trade in organs harvested from live Falun Gong practitioners, and at the same time they appealed for the end of the brutal CCP regime and an end to the persecution of Falun Gong.

During the three-hour rally, practitioners used a megaphone to introduce what Falun Dafa is, the situation of Falun Dafa spreading to over 70 countries all over the world, and the truth about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong over the past seven years. Many passers-by came to our rally to read the display boards, and listen to practitioners talk about the facts.

At Schwandorf’s millennium celebration activity this year, people learnt about the practice of Falun Dafa and were surprised to hear that kindhearted Falun Gong practitioners have suffered brutal persecution in China for over seven years, moreover, the wicked CCP even steals and sells Falun Gong practitioners’ organs for profit after killing them.
